Ugh! 330 on Wednesday afternoon and the place is packed. I have not been here before, so I think it must be great! Wrong! The place is kind of dirty, and the massage chair slams your back so hard it hurts (and I am not a tiny weakling) . They tried to shame me into a 'deluxe' $50 pedicure, and got salty when I insisted on a 'basic' which was $34 with the $1 credit surcharge. They didn't even take care of callouses for that price, and it is standard most places. Never again. read more

I get pedis for the experience and it was lackluster, very rushed and not very thorough. The place was empty, not like they had a line. They did get us in very quickly but I'll be reverting to my regular place. I suggest you do too. read more

Every time I go to CK nails I get consistent results! They always impress me with their gel manicures and I love that they last as long as they should. I can normally keep them on for 2 weeks or longer. I am a bartender and my hands are constantly hitting ice or in water so that says a lot! read more

EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF. I am not surprised to see others with the same complaint on here. You must save your money and go somewhere else. When we got there we told the man at the front we wanted a new set and we told him we still had the old set on. We found it odd that he wouldn't have our nails soaking since we were waiting for an hour. We were then next, and the lady yelled at us for not having them soaked. Regardless of who is right or wrong no customer should EVER be yelled at and treated so poorly. We treated them with respect as soon as we walked through the doors and all of a sudden the owner began to yell at us out of nowhere. We have been getting our nails done for 20 years at various locations and this is by far THE WORST location in Ohio. read more

Disappointing. I don't expect anything fancy from a regular manicure, but I was bummed there was no hand massage or anything! More importantly, within 24 hours, multiple nails were chipped. I have never had that happen before from a manicure... I at least expected a few days! I went back the day after I noticed the chips, and they begrudgingly touched them up for me. The man who helped me only said that this is why women don't usually get regular manicures anymore. They chipped again the next day. I'm writing this review as I lie awake and can't sleep because my fingers hurt so incredibly. I came to the salon for the first time, just to get a full set before nye wedding. They told me to pick a color and that my nail tech was right there. They were busy and the guy was so impatient with me, he kept pressing on the polisher engine and staring at me just to hurry me up. When I chose my color he grabbed my hand and used the electric filler for my nails. He did not cut my cuticles but instead kept cutting my fingers around my nails so bad, I was bleeding. Never said sorry. He was so aggressive with my hands I literally have bruises on my fingers. The nails look bulky and half-assed. I never received a hand massage or even a drop of lotion. He was rudely laughing and talking in Chinese with other workers, which was very uncomfortable. After he was done, he just pointed to the drier and proceeded to playing on his phone. My roommate and I decided to go to CK Nails to get mani/pedis w gel on a Sunday. Little did I know that this would cost $85, especially since I called earlier in the day and they told me $65. They also have a sign on their wall that says you get 5% off if you pay in cash, which when I asked about they lied and told me they had already taken into account with the $85. When I questioned the price I felt like the entire staff attacked me and tried to justify why that price was correct. I would not go back here again... Liked this place until I had one of the girls do my nails. I was a regular customer here, coming every few weeks to balance my acrylics. Always was a consistant price until a few weeks ago I went to get a balance done and pedicure. I had limited cash on me, so I made sure it was within my price range. Sure enough she told me $50 for everything. Now, almost coming here for a year, they all knew I never get gel on my acrylics. I always specify to clear up any confusion. Long story short, this girl had my pedi water cold, left me unattended for a long period of time without even turning on my water jets, hurt underneath my real nails to the point where I almost requested someone else, and then told me at the end of everything, it was $65!! When I asked why she said it was gel and replacing 1 broken acrylic. First off, I never asked, let alone received gel. 2, she told me it was $50 to begin with and everyone heard her say $50. Discussing it with her apparently wasn't an option, because she got loud and extremely rude with me. Being pregnant, I was embarassed and almost broke down in tears because everyone was watching. Worst experience in a nail salon in my entire life. Easy decision, I will never go back. I wanted so bad to like this place. ALSO, aside from the nail situatuon this woman asked me not only once, not twice, not three times BUT 4 TIMES if I wanted to get my eyebrows done. After the first time you would think she would have gotten the idea. After the second or third time I understood she thought my eyebrows were the God forsaken sin of the earth. But 4th time she had the NERVE to laugh in my face and make fun of my eyebrows with another worker there!! that I had also clearly stated I was growing out... NOT to be ruined by this rude, unprofessional woman. All the reviews are very similar to mine, and I'm starting to think it was all the same woman! This woman also thought her Asian accent was slick enough to get past with me and change the prices with me. They told us it would only be a 10minute wait, which was unrealistic for how many people were waiting. It would have been better if they just asked me to come back in 20minutes. Once in the seat they cut too deep on the cuticles and made me bleed and the manicure was only supposed to be $15 as listed on the wall but then charged $20 instead. I don't typically go to get my nails done but when my friends and I went to Chicago I couldn't resist. I was told that dip polish wouldn't harm my nails and so I got a beautiful set of dip nails in Chicago. I come back to Columbus and decided to go to CK Nails to get the dip polish removed. When the technician grabbed an acrylic and started to pry the dip polish off and asked him about soaking it because it hurt so bad and he said that wasn't how they removed dip. He removed my dip like you would remove acrylic nails and RUINED my nails. As he was filing my nails down they were breaking in his hands. I would never go back to a place that doesn't care about the health of my nails. I later went to a nail salon down the road that was shocked when I told them that CK Nails popped off my dip nails and took much better care of me. Do not go here!! The second I walked in the door the staff made me feel extremely unwelcome. I arrived 30 minutes after opening and there was only one other customer there - and there were 4-5 employees sitting in the pedicure chairs on their phones. They stared at me and continued to focus on their phones for about 2 minutes. Then, the owner/manager finally decided to ask "what do you want"? I felt as though I was inconveniencing them by trying to pay for a service at their establishment. And, it continued to get worse. I am not typically the type of person to write reviews on yelp, but I felt so uncomfortable the entire time I was there. I asked if I could look at nail polish bottles/colors and was basically scolded and told no - pick a color that looks good from the samples they gave to me and then they could find a similar color to that polish. Then, they recommended 4-5 colors that weren't the same as the nail polish color I wanted, and then I APOLOGIZED and tried to be nice and again said the color and brand I was looking for (to try to alleviate the awkwardness of the situation). Then, I finally just agreed to a random color. My nails were then filed down as far and thin as possible - that I am now in pain. I have nail polish and clear polish on my fingers and skin as well. Lastly, when I was trying to pay with my card, I was told to pay in cash instead because "it's better". I told them I'd prefer to pay with card - and that still was not accepted as an answer. They continued to push me to pay with cash and kept pointing to the ATM at the back of the store. It was so awkward and unprofessional. I finally said NO. Do not go to this establishment. The manager next to me was also pressuring the other customer to pay with cash... and complaining that she originally asked for a manicure and pedicure... but then changed it to a manicure only. I have noticed that these folks keep a copy of credict card receipts with the card number on the receipt. I don't want to cause any grief but they should know that this is in violation of federal law. Below is the law as stated in the Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act (FACTA) (g) Truncation of Credit Card and Debit Card Numbers (1) In general. Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, no person that accepts credit cards or debit cards for the transaction of business shall print more than the last 5 digits of the card number or the expiration date upon any receipt provided to the cardholder at the point of the sale or transaction. (2) Limitation. This subsection shall apply only to receipts that are electronically printed, and shall not apply to transactions in which the sole means of recording a credit card or debit card account number is by handwriting or by an imprint or copy of the card. Went in here and paid for a "gel" full set. 2 popped off within the first 8 days (supposed to last for 3 weeks regardless). Went in and the girl at the front accused me of lying because I said it was a week and didn't specify 8 days and then proceeded to charge me when I just paid for a full "gel" set 8 days prior - they'll do anything for a buck. I had really poor service here on Saturday 10/7. I arrived before they opened, but door was open. The man told me to sit in a pedicure chair. I was never told to sign in. At least 4 more women arrived after me and were helped first. When my pedicure was done, the woman disappeared. She never lead me to the dryer or came back to have me pay. After 20+ minutes I asked another girl who I should pay. She told me to go to the front desk, which isn't what is normally done. No one was there. My nail tech was doing a manicure. I was seated almost immediately when I walked in. I told the woman who did my nails that I had sensitive cuticles, and she was very gentle giving me a manicure. I have had great experiences at this place twice now. V does an amazing gel manicure. The people working here are always friendly and polite. Never a long wait. I find the prices comparable to other local salons. The only thing I don't like is that to take off the gel manicure they soak your fingers in acetone. Well, I went in hoping for a mani/pedi. Went in with a group, called ahead to be sure we'd get chairs together. Waited 20 minutes for a tech, then led to pedicure chairs (massage chairs) and my feet soaked for nearly an hour while employees disappeared for lunch? After the hour an older gentleman began to work on me (ouch, not so gentle after all!) The massage chair was hurting me at this point (too much of a good thing I guess) and I was so frustrated by the wait & the lack of conversation, the man ignored my comments about hurting my cuticles. To top it off, the only color I wanted "was bad" and unusable. Took too long and I gave up on the manicure.
