They're absolutely delicious when still warm and fresh out of the oven and they bake them pretty much all day, so they're just about always fresh. One of my favorite ways to enjoy them over the years was to get the maple butter and blueberry jam and mix the two. The flavors of the butter, maple and blueberry all complimented the savory flavor of the popover. However, this year I was disappointed to see that they no longer are offering the maple butter, even for an upcharge. Please bring this back, it really took the popovers to another level! Maybe whip it into thawed butter instead of hand mixing it to make it easier? The whipped butter is easier to dip in and spread anyway. The new pre-packaged / mass produced butter packs take away from the appeal of a freshly-made popover. Sometimes in the morning it can be a little crowded in here with people waiting for their coffee / drinks to be made by a counter not far from where you place your order, so if you're walking in and haven't ordered yet then check if the people standing around are just waiting on coffee or waiting to order. It would be a nice improvement to see some separation (maybe with some ropes or floor markings) to make it more clear who is in line to order and who is waiting for their beverage to be made. It's worth noting it's takeout only and there's nowhere inside to sit, but there are some benches just outside on the sidewalk where you can have your popover and coffee.

My friend and I are in town for a couple of days and are checking out all the ice cream places in town. We've sampled and bought everywhere we went. We go into CJ's, looks ok so I try one flavor from the ice cream cabinet, see the gelato cabinet and walk down to it. The girl hands me a sample and it falls off the spoon. No big deal, im wiping it off the glass and she hands me another try. I eat it. My friend asks for a sample of a soy flavor, and her and I are SHARING that sample. In fact i havent even gotten my half in my mouth yet when some young punk behind the counter who has been staring at us (and I cant figure out why) leans across the counter and says so LOUD, RUDE and SNOTTY, "are ya gonna buy anything!?" I am in complete schock. We have had 2 1/2 samples between 2 people. I said this is my second one. He says "yeah, you had ONE over at the ice cream counter" Well I am livid within one second. I have never been treated soooo rudely in any shop. So I leave and in a minute I go back into the store to ask another kid where the mgr is. He says not here and the RUDE KID who is standing all the way at the far end of the counter starts waving at us with his arm up high saying "Im the managers son, BYe BYe" Like he is actually proud of himself!!!! Clearly he has no idea of customer service. if he was my employee i would have fired him on the spot. There is no sign saying there is a limit to tastings, and i saw other folks with 5 or 6 tasters in their hands. Im not sure why i was singled out by this stupid stupid stupid boy but i was so mad that everywhere i went in town the next couple days i made sure to tell all the locals of the worst service I ever had in my whole life. read more

The sundae was a rich treat with creamy chocolate moose tracks ice cream swirled with smooth, warm hot fudge, creating a perfect blend of flavors. My wife chose a small double chocolate brownie sugar cone. This cone was generously filled with rich, chocolatey goodness, featuring chunks of brownie mixed into the ice cream, all nestled in a crispy, sweet sugar cone. I ordered the homemade blueberry pie ala mode! It was delicious! It had bunches of blueberries spilling out. It was sweet, but not so sweet as to curl your eyelashes. I saw some blueberry pie at a local bakery that did not look as good as this. Service was very good as well. read more

The breakfast sandwiches came with two eggs, a lean sausage patty, and all of it was not greasy. The croissant was sturdier so it could stand up to the sandwich. Like everywhere else in the area, cash only, but they all have an ATM on site where you can pay an ATM fee. This one was $2. There were some nice picnic tables outside too.
