My family and I have been going here for 4 years now and every time we have made the trip up to Maine it's a necessity to stop for some Brrr Harbor. the youngest in my family has lots of allergies and this place is one of the few that she can order from. The service is amazing everybody's always so happy and ready to help out. The best place to go in Maine! It truly has become our favorite place to go for a yummy cold treat! Our personal favorites are Blueberry & Sweet Cream, Peach & Sweet Cream and Brrr Harbor's Snowjito. No matter what flavor you pick it will be yummy! And don't forget to get an iced coffee too! Our favorite is a Triple layer with Caramel & cinnamon. I was curious about Hawaiian shaved ice and the many flavors this place had. We shared a key lime flavor and a natural blueberry flavor. Both were good and was fitting for a warmer day. Hawaiian shaved ice? Yes please! As close to the real thing you'll find - although they don't have sweet azuki beans and sweetened condensed milk, but it's all good. They have a ton of traditional sugary flavors as well as a good variety of natural flavors. The unique flavors caught my eye: bacon, cilantro, lavender, rose... wow! I tried mine with lavender and rose. The lavender was very distinct and tasty. Couldn't taste the rose at all, but the lavender made up for it. If you are looking for a cool treat, this is the place to go. Sweet but not cloying, and dairy free. I'm not sure how they do it, but the ice is not granular; it's soft like snow. More flavors than I could list. I went with the suggestion of lemon and lavender (side by side), and it was excellent, but there are plenty of options for you to do you. I will definitely be back. One suggestion is to find an alternative to styrofoam cups. Your customers are going to finish even the big sizes before they melt, so cardboard cups would be fine. read more
