The Kitchen took a little over 4 weeks! The demo crew walked in on November 4th and the cleaning crew walked out on December 4th! Honest! We 1st hired The Showroom for a master bath remodel in 2008. Mark Carter is part owner & designer & Mark did a fantastic job with the lay-out & color scheme. This was a "right down to the wall studs & slab" rebuild. Demoed the old jakuzi, tiny shower, Hollywood lighting, vanity, sliding mirror closet doors & carpet. Came back with 24" tile flooring, a big glass walled shower with rain head & bench, cabinetry with bun feet, maximized the closet user friendliness & updated all lighting. We lived in that house another 10 yrs & never had a complaint about labor or materials. Good job, Mark, we loved that bathroom. We moved to a 1983 vintage house in 2018 & in September 2019 we hired The Showroom to update the kitchen. This also was a "bare stud" project. Mark now does his design work on computer so you see how everything will look & fit. The design & workmanship were good as ever & materials even better. All we knew was we needed more useable space & we had a color scheme in mind so we told Mark & got out of his way. The results are as good or better than for the old bathroom. The drawers glide as if on air & close themselves with a gentle shove & likewise, the cabinet doors never slam. We have so much more useable space we still haven't filled all the drawers or cabinets. We definitely recommend The Kitchen & Bath Showroom & would (probably will) use them again.

These ppl are the worst because they are not even pretending to be honest. I was updating a rental property. I came to get a quote on a countertop and a few days later returned to add a vanity countertop. I gave the exact length of my kitchen. One of the younger employee gave me a quote for material and labor. Thankfully before I handed them a deposit, they were available to go measure right then. After the "measure" he told me theq final price was 25% more than quoted. Why so much? He said my measurements were off. He didnt dispute my counter length but he said it costs more because the counter is 26 in deep not 24 in. Uhh... Im not getting a custom slab. ALL prefab countertops come in the same standard 26 in depth. Surely you knew that already. Then he said my bar top was 62 in x 14 in not 62 x 12 in as I told them. I asked him to show me because I didn't even see him put his measuring tape on the bar top! He measured and its 12 in, exactly as I said. So he made some lame excuse that they can't cut a 12 in depth and 14 in was the minimum depth they can cut. LOL. That's not what you just said. And how do you cut 4 in backsplash strips then? In any case the quote already included a charge a full 8 ft x 26 in slab for said bar top too. Then, he said its because they forgot a sink. That's true, and I'm fine with adding that. Except he said its $250 for a sink. On the previous quote I received for kitchen granite only a few days before, the sink was $90. And, there was a sticker on said sink was $90 in their store. I said I'll just buy my own sink then, and he said, then we have to charge you $150 to cut the sink hole. Uhhh... the quote that I had in my hand included cutting and polishing labor for "sink side" cabinet! I dont get it. Especially because while I was at the store, there were at least 2 people (including the measure guy) that checked the quote before it was provided to me. Then FIVE excuses, none valid because he can't be bothered to actually measure. I was ready to buy with check in hand. I was ready to pay the extra fees that you asked for demo. I was willing to pay your previously quoted sink price. I just thank God I didnt write a check before they came. I cant imagine being dealing w these ppl for another minute. I drove to the next granite store 2 minutes away and got what I wanted for less. Even if you dont care about wasting my time, you're still wasting your own time/gas coming out for said "measure." How you get any business being that shady is beyond me.

That's when I called Mary at Katy Kitchen and Bath, what a godsend she is. From the very first phone conversation I knew I wanted to work with her but the question was could we afford her.
