I stopped in after my flight at 9:42 and the bartender informed me you were closed. However I was confused as I knew you were open until 10. So she said I am happy to send my manager so I said yes please. He arrived at 10:51 and the first thing I asked was for his name and he refused. I asked again and firmly said I will not be giving my name as you don't need my name. I then shared my story that I arrived prior to closing requesting service and interrupted me to let me know last call was at 9:45. I again stated I was there prior to that time. He clearly did not care and was rude and firm. Clearly he wanted to go home early. I hope the owner sees this because this is bad service. I stop in her often as I fly every week and I will tell everyone never again. read more

Congratulations on the experience. (That's sarcasm, just to be clear.) City Pub Airport 1. The staff were deeply engaged with their cell phones and personal calls--apparently far more important than acknowledging paying customers. 2. Drinks not poured correctly 3. Empty glasses sat in front of other customers like decorative centerpieces. One might assume this was a business that sells drinks, but chatting with friends online clearly took priority. 4. The food? Let's just say Friday's frozen potato skins would have felt like a chef's special by comparison. When I finally had to insist that we leave, there was no apology, no acknowledgment, not even eye contact. Silence was clearly the service model. This is the first time in a very long time that I didn't leave a tip--and that decision felt entirely appropriate. You should be incredibly proud of your airport team. The upside is that none of those customers will ever make the mistake of returning. read more

Food wasn't great - the "healthy" breakfast was a wrap filled with egg whites which were too salty, the vegetables were watery (the wrap was soggy from the water so I used a fork to eat the insides of the wrap), and nothing as far as seasoning or flavor. The only things that cause this to miss a one star are 1) the lady at the counter was a genuinely funny and friendly person (and yes, she did get 20% since the food isn't her fault) and 2) the potatoes that came with it were actually not bad at all. I had the buffalo chicken dip and a cold beer. I had about 30 min to blow before my flight and this was probably the easiest accessible restaurant in the terminal. Overall the food was what you expect at an airport but the service was def good. The bartender was very helpful. If you're flying through Orlando try it out. read more

My arrival at MCO was, at first, unexpectedly hectic. I arrived at the airport in time to receive a text from the airline that my flight was delayed. I needed to get myself & kids to the restroom, check our bags & find breakfast ASAP. I didn't want fast food or to sit amongst the chaos of the food court. Enter City Pub. As we approached, I could see a couple of workers talking & I asked if they served breakfast. Success! We were told to sit where we liked. A QR code on the corner of the table allowed us to browse the menu options (although it was incomplete with drink options). I later learned Kaleigh, our server, was "flying solo" as her coworker called in. While they weren't serving coffee, I was able to get juice & Coke Zero. The food arrived quickly and was hot. One child ordered waffles, the other ordered eggs & tots. I ordered the healthy breakfast of egg whites, spinach, tomatoes, and sourdough toast. I asked for lime crema (offered on another menu option) to be added on top. It was a delicious addition! Kaleigh, despite running around to serve others, switched one of the television channels so I could share my love of tennis & Wimbledon with my kids. We spotted scarves of soccer teams in a case & the local team, Orlando Health. If you get the chance, I recommend a meal at City Pub at MCO. read more

This was absolutely the worst pub bar I have ever been in in my entire life. There was absolutely no service. The server was rude and obnoxious. And she was the only one working the front half of house. We had to clean off our own table that was absolutely trashed, because she refused. All of the empty tables seemed the same as each one head food and dishes on them. When I asked to speak to the manager, she replied no and said this is the airport. We then looked in their ordering system and said no way got up and walked out. We then went to the macaroni Grill, which is right around the corner and had a great meal with hot food pleasant service and wonderful conversation. Oh, BTW, the tables were clean and they actually had people walking about making sure everything was taken care of. I would suggest that no one stop at this location ever again. We decided to have lunch at a sit-down restaurant as we had plenty of time until our flight, but eating here was a huge mistake. First of all, the server wouldn't welcome or explain whether we needed to order online or not, but he just brought a plastic knife and fork and left. He finally brought water after 15min. The plastic menu says I can change the side of my Turkey Club sandwich for slaw from flies, but there was no option on the online ordering website so I confirmed the server and wrote it down on the additional instruction section. I also checked extra tomato as well as a medium rare option for Orland City Burger. However, the meal came with just greasy flies, and the sandwich had only one slice of stale tomato. Obviously, the patty was overcooked. Besides, even though the place wasn't crowded at all, it took over 30min to receive those overpriced boring meals!!! I asked the server to bring me the slaw, but he was perplexed as if he didn't know what the slow was although I initially asked about it. The female server said he would bring the slaw but he didn't bring it even after 10min so we finished eating and decided to leave. Overall, if you want lunch or dinner, grab something from the food court or bring something. Slow, unprofessional, and unpleasant restaurant. read more

Yikes, this place needs help. It took my boyfriend and I maybe 30 minutes to get someone's attention at the bar. We ordered two Stellas while waiting for my flight to depart. It was $32?! I'm sure we were gyp because we we're young. The Stellas came out cold and none of the tables have been bussed so we had to make-do to the counter that had a dirty beer glass and melted ice cream that was from Baskin Robbins. This is a place in the airport that you stop at because you are short on time and there are seats open. I gave them 4 stars because the fries, chips, and BBQ sauce is on point- these stars will bring up the average rating. Plus, the service was great. I ordered the BBQ bacon cheese burger with NO BUN. This was a lucky coincidence- they were out of buns! That pretty much knocks out almost half of the entire menu if u are a carb loving bread eater. Yeah, that sucks....but my burger and my husband's turkey club- all were really great. It would've been a more attractive hang out if music wasn't playing on some cheap speaker in the corner. I stopped by to watch the end of the BUCS game- they should've just had a game on over the speakers really- that would have made it a more inviting sports club feel. Other guy walking around don't know what the hell he's supposed to be doing. This place have bad reviews. I can understand why. I am not sure where to begin here. The food is good for airport bar food. The drink was OK but the bartender certainly seemed more interested in the male passengers traveling alone than actually providing my wife and I any kind of service. I ordered a bottled beer five minutes ago and she has done everything other than open it and bring it to the bar. She did ultimately bring our appetizer which took over 30 minutes, dropped it and walked away without utensils and napkins. My wife who is quite resourceful found some after waiting 10 minutes for the bartender to bring them. Place has been here since early 2019 but I've never actually been. The Yelp page for City Pub had a drastically different menu but now I just realize it's a different franchise 9 miles out. This one is pre-security in MCO. Pretty tight menu for an American menu with taps for beer, cocktails, and wine. Food was relatively straightforward for airport fare and a fresh option to contrast the food court. The boneless buffalo wings were super generic so I might try something else, but they were at least crispy. And the cheaper glass of Chard I had was actually on point - only now do I remember 9 oz was a glass and a half. I think if I have another hour to kill I'd came back. Feels a little more local than say something like Macaroni Grill anyways. read more

This place was miserable. Unfortunately it was the only place outside of security that was open while I waited for a buddy to arrive. All their beers on tap were "out" which is amazing. The food was pathetic. They had like 3 options, one of which was chicken tenders. They were pretty awful. Clientele in there left a-lot to be desired. Avoid. read more

Well this was a pretty lackluster experience. The bloody mary was extremely average . But it was 16.99. I understand-it is an airport but it's Orlando. Definitely a last resort or backup for spot at MCO. The number of options available at the airport is too high to settle here unless you have no other opportunity or lines are crazy. Service was super friendly and good, only reason it is bumped up to 3 stars. Waitress was working whole place alone as another had called out so while stressed and over work she was pleasant and doing her best. Drinks came out in a reasonable time, had to ask water 5 times but she had probably 13 tables. Food came out a little slow and was warm, not hot. Got the BBQ Bacon Burger. Sauce was good, rest was okay. Again it was slightly warm and fries were not hot so disappointing. Good alcohol selection and Bloody Mary was decent. AC was also out so it got pretty warm. Overall don't recommend as a first choice but it will do in a pinch. read more

You've got lots of options inside the Orlando airport, but cross this one off your list. The seating is too tight and quite limited and the prices are high (over $10 for five chicken tenders). My friend and I stopped in there and ate at the bar. This is a tale of two employees. We were greeted and served by a very kind girl named Stephanie. Great lady! The three of us were laughing and talking about our boring names. We ordered. Then a waitress with curly hair named "Zaira" or Zaharia" came by and my friend very politely said she had a great name. She could not have been more rude to my friend. She rolled her eyes and said nothing huffing off like she was way too good for us. We shrugged our shoulders.
