Came today for first time. We had the fish taco basket w/ tots, taco salad and a sloppy dog to share. Everything was very good. The service was top notch. Amanda was our server. The place has a cool dive bar feel with very good food. The food is Sloppy & good as the name implies. Would highly recommend STP. 5 stars easily.
My friends and I still wanted to hangout after our day at Universal but we wanted to go somewhere close by and cheap. This was the perfect place, good drinks and cheap food. I ordered the sloppy supreme tots with ground beef and It hit all the right spots. It also was a great portion size that I got a box for leftovers. Overall great vibes and great service all around.
My husband and I stopped in after a long, hot day at the theme parks looking for an escape from the chaos and high prices at City Walk, and STP fit the bill perfectly. We got seated fairly quickly for a busy Saturday night. We had great service from staff throughout our visit, although it was a slightly slower toward the end once bar business picked up (to be expected). The menu is straightforward and prices are very affordable. They have a great selection of drinks at a good price. My husband got sloppy tacos and I ordered the traditional with tater tots, alongside an order of chips & queso that came with salsa. Let's just say that was more than enough food for both of us and we ended up taking home a mountain of tots. The chips were fresh and queso had a good consistency, but was a little bland. We enjoyed both of the salsas and felt those had more flavor. My husband and I both liked our tacos, but agreed that while they freshly prepared, they were very bare bones in terms of flavor. Was that a deal breaker? Absolutely not, because all in all, we had a great experience and you can't best the portions for the price. I have a feeling we will be back at STP after future late night park visits in the future!
YASSSSS... Love everything from the name to the food to the staff to the vibe. Awesome place. I took a walk on the wild side with Greek tacos and a side of tots. Sounds weird, but it's a great combo. The Greek taco came with grilled chicken, feta, greens, tomato and such, along with a very nicely done Greek dressing. All that in a flour tortilla, which had been grilled with just a few crispy edges. Delightful. I am not usually a big fan of tots, but these were done to perfection. Nice and crisp on the outside and wonderfully soft and warm on the inside. Picture perfect tots. Wish I lived in Orlando, I would become a regular here very quickly.
Love this hole in the wall vibes I get from this place also love the drinks here they are super strong one and done for me but I can see myself hanging out here. The food was very greasy and good. American tacos which they tell you from the jump the service was very tentative. No specific server all checked on us constantly and I loved that's will be returning also their daily deals and happy hour prices are such a steal!
You know what you're getting from a place called Sloppy Taco Palace and you're exactly right in that thinking. The food is sloppy, the floors are sticky, and the price is low. Come late or after some drinks to make everything taste better. If you have a sensitive stomach, this might be a spot that you want to skip because everything is quite heavy and cheesy.
Hands down the best taco salad that I've ever had. And with several variations!!! We started with the Fundido appetizer ( it was good but wasn't cooked long enough so the center was cold) For dinner I had the traditional Taco Salad with Grilled steak and a signature "Sloppy Taco" with seasoned steak. And my partner had the "Greek Taco Salad " and a Sloppy Taco w/ grilled chicken. Everything that we had was delicious including the margaritas!! I highly recommend this little spot. Kind of a divey bar atmosphere but the food was on point! We'll be back there very soon!
Favorite local haunt! Best bar food in town and if you come in and don't have at least ONE sloppy taco you have FAILED. This is where we go when we wanna go "where everybody knows my name." They have an extensive menu and everyone (staff included) is there to have a good time! ONLY critique: I wish all the chairs had backs.
No better place to grab a quick (but filling) bite to eat and have affordable drinks to pair it with! I love coming here. The staff are always friendly and attentive and the drink specials are great. It's a dive bar but there's no smoking inside which is great if you're a non-smoker like me. I always get the 3 sloppy Taco basket with the tater tots. Check them out for sure!!
The food was really mid. The tots were good but not crunchy and they needed salt. Thr Frito pie was really good and tge beer was beer. Great dive bar, great local joint. Just come prepared for loud, rowdy local rif-raf!

What an awesome locals place. We stopped by on a Friday night before the "regulars" come in. A friend who work in the theme parks mentioned this place. It's past most of the theme parks life areas so you are eating a a locals place. Food: * Overall - lots of things to choose from * Nachos - large portion of nachos smothered in cheese - this would have been enough for both of us for dinner just by itself * Tacos - the tacos were good we tried both the beef and steak (slight rockstar) - both were plentiful and delicious * Beans and Rice - seasoned perfectly - I've not had anything close anywhere else - they were worth the drive * Drinks - Large margaritas that are flavorful The atmosphere is a bit like a dive bar. There is lots of seating and even an outdoor patio. If you sit near the front door you will see a couple of the local cats peaking in on you. There are TVs for sports fans and the staff was very attentive. We had multiple people check on us multiple times. STP is on my list for when we we to get away from the tourist areas without having to go across town. read more
Stopped by this local dive bar. We were extremely impressed with the overall service. Very attentive and prompt service. Had the nachos and the jalapeño poppers. The poppers were great. The nachos were huge. The margaritas were priced right and great. Will definitely be back. read more
I was craving tacos at 2 a.m. after EDC and this place totally hit the spot. It has a fun dive-bar vibe, and you seat yourself and get served. The menu features their signature sloppy tacos, and they really are sloppy in the best way. I got the ground beef basket, which comes with queso and pico plus a side. I went with chips so all the taco drips basically turned into makeshift nachos. So good and nicely seasoned. Prices were super reasonable for late-night food. Service was great too and the waitress checked on us often. They did ID us since it was after 10 p.m., which wasn't a big deal. We sat outside and it was pretty cold, especially with the fan blasting on max, but the food made up for it. Honestly perfect late-night food. read more

DELICIOUS food with generous servings! Nice little touch was how easy it was to take leftovers since they just gave me a lid for the taco bowl. I didn't have to put it in a separate to/go box or anything! Also loved the decor inside and the big patio. It truly gave the place a one-of-kind feel! read more

This place has been on my list to try for quite a while and I finally did! A group of us stopped in for a late lunch. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed and our server was friendly and attentive. I had to get their namesake Sloppy Tacos of course. My boyfriend and I decided to share a basket of three (steak, chicken, and pork) with a side of beans and rice. My boyfriend also ordered a corn dog because he loved them haha (though that was cold in the middle, but otherwise fine). Others in our party ordered tacos or taco salad and we had chips and queso to start. The chips were tasty and the queso was good also. It's not the most authentic style queso, but still yummy. The sloppy tacos were good and smothered in the same queso with a lightly fried shell. The steak and chicken tacos were my favorite and I was happy to see that the chicken was well seasoned and had a yummy grilled taste since sometimes chicken tacos can be on the bland side. Oddly enough, I didn't think the pork was as well seasoned, but it was still pretty good. The rice was also well seasoned. Other members of our party enjoyed their food as well. You won't find the fanciest or most authentic tacos here, but you will find some tasty food at good prices and a laid back vibe and it will definitely satisfy your taco craving! Looking for a bar where people learn your name, are super nice and that has cheap drinks and bar foods? Look no further than STP as us locals call it. This place is great and has great service, sometimes it can be busy but for the most part it is chill. If you like Long Islands this is your place where you can get one for $6! The food is pretty good for a dove bar and our go to snack is chips and queso. I can't recommend this place enough! read more
I was a little hesitant to come here because it is also a bar but WOW.... The tacos are amazing! The chicken is so juicy and has so much flavor. The taco Tuesday deal is $3.25 beef or chicken tacos and it also comes with queso and pico! I will definitely be coming back here!! read more
A hidden gem for sure! You can make great memories and tape a dollar to the wall, you can write anything you want in it A great taco bar tucked away in the back of the kirkman shopping center, plenty of parking! This place is family friendly during the day light. Indoor & outdoor seating. Music is kinda loud but it's a bar. The bathrooms we very clean ! The service was top tier our waitress was great she greeted us as soon as we walked in and told us to seat where ever we wanted. Took a tour order quickly was able to give great suggestions. This place is exactly what you would expect from the name. No frills bar/restaurant serving tacos, burritos and some other stuff. Happy hour from noon to seven pm so a great place for day drinking. The food was fine, not fine dining but tasty enough. Service was good and I personally love a place with "Hi Neighbor, have a Gansett!" signs If you are in the mood for basic tacos at a reasonable price, stop on by. We are definitely in the minority. Not our best taco experience. Our tacos were nothing to rave about. They were cold and overseasoned. The sides were fantastic though. Service was pretty good. The restaurant is cute with a fun local crowd. There's a fairly well stocked bar, but no wine at all. read more
Crispy puff tacos and late night food. Came here for a very late dinner. Ordered their signature tacos. Of note their crispy puff tacos is the sloppy taco with queso. I'm not a big fan of queso myself (I know, blasphemy, so I got it replaced me shredded cheese myself. The taco combo also comes with a side. They had tatertots so it was a very obvious choice for me. I ordered the steak at first and I confused the order so got crunchy tacos instead. The tacos themselves were still great and the steak was well seasoned. Since I missed out on the puff taco I ordered a fish taco as well. The fish was fried well but a little heavy on the seasoning. I enjoyed the crisp puffiness a lot. Definitely recommend for late night food or just really good tacos with tots! read more

Perfect place to go near the metro west area for a late night bite ! It's become one of my favorite spots they also have a great selection of craft beer! The tacos to me are unique because the shell it comes in is almost like a fried tortilla and the cheese sauce you can't go without it this makes for the perfect combo of crispy and messy. They are just so so tasty and the tots you always have to get this as your side. If you go soon they have delirium Noel on draft pair this with your tacos and you'll thank me !!!! Ps. No they are not called Sloppy Toppy Tacos but it kinda has a ring to it doesn't it ? :) read more

After leaving the gun range, a few friends of mine decided to go here and WOW! I am so happy that we did, this place is literally a hole in the wall/hidden gem. Those tacos were absolutely delicious and truly some of the best I've ever had in my life. You can tell that these tacos were made with love and that the waitress that served us was very knowledgeable about the entire menu. I thought those came in no more than 10 minutes and the drinks came to the table almost immediately. I mean they were so good, along with a side of beans and tomatoes. It was a match made in heaven, I recommend anyone in the area to check out this spot. Whether you're on a budget, or are you just looking for something to ring your taste buds.
