I'm checking for a garbage disposal and seeds.
    Debra N.

I found everything plus more...specifically Badger 1/2 HP garbage disposal, vegetable seeds, Neem oil, two seedling trays, (2) water bladders for storm season, and bag potting soil to transplant some small trees. I'm holding off on garbage disposal until next month. But I'm able look and plan while I'm here. I need some tools I'm the future to build a 8x10 shed. I checked the whole tools section with cost of batteries plus a 6 bed slot charger...nice! Moreover, I need to compare prices. Store clerks have lots of suggestion for what wood is best for your projects. They are very friendly while on the floor making sure if you need help. I like this store, very organized, clean, and neat. Masks are required for all, hand sanitizers, wipes for your carts, and social distancing. I wasn't expecting to stay long... Oh, well? Ciao!

Are you a handy man type or a DIY (do it yourself) aficianado? Your neighborhood City Mill may carry just what you need. If you aren't quite sure where to look or what you might need an employee in a company shirt can assist you. You can get duplicate keys made here, paint, rubbermaid products, picture hanging gadgets, outdoor furniture, dowels and more. They have an assortment of drawer or cabinet pulls, functional, blingy or even whimsical knobs, screws and washers. Once a female associate sold me a cool, long yellow plastic item to twirl unwanted hair in a bathtub drain. Did the job well then and now. They have closet storage, things to put under heavy furniture to easily move them without getting a hernia. Lamps, lighting, plumbing and even grab and go packaged snacks and beverages can be found here. Sometimes you can find clear acrylic containers, liquid soap dispensers, glass cannisters and more for your kitchen or bathroom. You can easily fill up your shopping cart and buy more than you came in for. Happy shopping.

I do not home improve, garden or do any construction type of projects. I figured this was a popular store for dudes. I probably check out City Mill a couple of times a year for random things like a single screw, or bolt. But honestly when I do end up walking around, there are interesting things. I like looking at the little furniture area. Because I have so many shoes/sandals, I love looking at shoe shelves and storages. Apparently I have a mild obsession with lighters. City mill has those too lol. There's a small section for household items. And I think there were snacks and drinks in front. Kind of a convenient store for a bit of different things really. Lately they've been pretty well stocked with cleaning items, gloves, sanitizers and face masks. Right now, summer heat is kicking in and its a good place to check out fans and ac units too.

My go to hardware store in my neighborhood because... -it is convenient -it is open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (12 hours) except on Sunday's. They close at 6:00 p.m. Wow! That's cool! It opens early. I like that! -it is part of a local chain which I support..."Go...local!" -it is small and easy to shop around...not large and overwhelming -it is not intimidating unlike other big hardware stores -it has "awesome customer service" -it has everything that I need for my household projects -it has friendly staff who takes the time to listen to you and assist you in any way that they need to. They are very personable, too. -it has an area that customize window screens -it has a place to make keys and car remote keys, too. Much cheaper than the car dealerships -it has an area to refill propane tanks If you want to support local businesses, please shop here for your hardware needs. You'll thank me for that!

Unfortunately every time I need a tool or something else and I visit City Mill they don't carry it. Waste of time even going there.

Ultimate craft spot…read more.. Since forever I like to do craft and with places like Lowe's it's taken to the next level that I couldn't imagine like my Dremel...as I used to go to my secret spot to find shells I do use them for various project that requires for me to drill holes into them and some craft places do have drills but it's for basic simple items not the hard and sometimes thick shells we have here in Hawai'i. They do have an app that really helps me to find what I'm looking for without driving to multiple locations or asking customer service to check for me is the convenience that's more than amazing. On this visit they did have an item that I've been searching for quite awhile that only they have and had it in stock...thankfully and if it's that important I'd recommend that you do purchase them online for a store pick up which is completely free and does secure the items as well. This Waikele Shopping location is nice as they lots and lots of free parking which is just steps away from their doors though is massive but the staff is very helpful and friendly that has me getting on my way just as fast as I ordered it. Thank you!

I decided to run in before work and look for a particular potting soil that their app showed they had an abundance of. I can't find it. I look in the area the app said it would be in, it's not there. I even look outside because let's face it, you don't need brains to work here so maybe they moved it.. not there. I muster up the patience to ask the Worker STOCKING THE SOIL, if he's seen it. He looks at the pic, looks at the wall and says "hmm.. it's suppose to be here, but it's not. Then carries on stocking" Poop for brains.. truly. Ordered it on Amazon. What a waste of a huge, beautiful space.. instead it's just a workplace for the incompetent.

This review is specifically about the free monthly Kids Workshops…read more My daughter absolutely LOVES the monthly workshops which are held every 1st Saturday of the month. Spots fill up quick! Sign ups open the 1st Saturday of the month for the next month and are usually full within a couple days. What you get: a free kid sized Home Depot apron (just like the workers wear!), a wooden toy to put together, instructions, a commemorative pin, and a little certificate of completion. They have paint and hammers out to paint and put together the craft. We've been coming for over a year and we absolutely love it! We especially love when they have vehicles like planes, construction vehicles, and emergency vehicles! We also love functional toys like piggy banks and trinket holders! They are pretty well made and last a while. Go to the Home Depot website and click or search for Kids Workshops to see what crafts are available for the next couple of months!
