The prices were competitive with Home Depot, but still a little higher. At the checkout the yard worker was there and he was acting angry about my order. I said "is there a problem with my order?" He responded with anger and said "do I have a frickin choice?" I told him I would load it up myself and he didn't have to worry about it. It was 3:30pm, not 3:55 right before close or something. When I was backing my truck up I could see him angrily ranting to his coworker. When I got out he just said "open the back of your truck...." Choosing to order me around instead of interact with me like a costumer. It took less than 5 minutes for me and the two workers to load the blocks. The unprovoked rudeness has made sure I'll never spend another dollar at Hardware Hawaii. Unless you enjoy being treated badly, spend your money at Home Depot.

Unfortunately when I walked their garden department they didn't have any. When I asked an employee for help he responded that he only does "Plants". I asked the cashier about purchasing the exchange tanks for propane. She had to call someone to check if they had any (although online they showed 253). She directed me to the self checkout at the front of the store to purchase and pick up. Cashiers up there were swamped with customers and told me they would call someone to help me get my tanks exchanged. It took a while but they finally got it done . Their pricing is inline with other home improvement stores on island. Nice store too bad about the service level.

Today I tried calling and all I get is the virtual assistant. I keep asking to speak to a human being or customer service person and I wait on the phone for over 10 minutes and nobody answers the phone. I literally had to drive down to the store and asked them if the cutting machine was working, which they replied no. They said I can take it down to the honolulu store and get it cut. This is so frustrating. I agree with everyone who says that they don't answer their phone.
