They did however give me Leo's contact number. I had to wait but it was worth it. He sharpened the reels, changed the chain, oil, filter and spark plug. He also adjusted the clutch because the reels were no spinning. He told me that I didn't need the knife bed assembly which Waipahu lawn told me previously that I needed. I highly recommend calling him for your service needs and he comes to your location which makes it convenient. He also recommended that I have the P20 serviced every 8 months based on my usage.

He told me he would get it to his store if I just gave him a few minutes. He left, went to his distributors warehouse, grabbed what I asked for, brought it back to the shop and called me, "i got it!" So off I went....and brought it home, unpacked it and crap! It was too big! I called him and he was like, "no problem, I'll get you what you need." I called knowing they didn't have any in stock since nobody ever does when a Hurricane comes. They suggested that I pre-purchase the EU2200i that I was looking for. That way I was in line when the next batch came in. Fast forward 2 weeks (Just after Lowell) and they told me they were due in that day and call the next day before coming down to make sure they arrived. I did and Noah told me to come in and see him. I did go see Noah immediately and sure enough, got my EU2200i. A very nice lady customer asked me if I was going to have them pre-test it. I had not thought of that so I asked and both Garrett and Noah both assured me they would put oil in it, a little gas and give it a test. I offered to buy the Oil and was told no worries. They did set it up and test it so and I walked out the door with a set up, pre-tested Generator. At a time when Tropical Storm Norbert was looking like it was going to be another Hurricane. It was most refreshing to have a store take the proper time to make sure all was right in such a hectic time. Getting a Generator's during Hurricane time (or Possible) is a tough thing and these folks were the best !!! Special shout out to Garrett during the buy and later in the pick up, and Noah for FIRST CLASS SERVICE !!!!

After some research, I found that Aloha Power equipment was the place to go to find what I needed. This location is in a warehouse right behind the Costco gas station on Alakawa Street. I asked for help at the cashier/parts counter and the young man confirmed that they had the model I was looking for in stock. He went in the back to get it and had it unboxed, assembled, and ready to go for me in about 10 minutes. I really appreciated that this saved me the hassle of getting that done and having to dispose of the box at home. He also offered to help me load it in the car. The price I paid for the mower was reasonably higher than what I found online and about what I expected. You have to account for the cost they incur having to ship this stuff here. Like a lot of places these days they also charge a 3% credit card fee. As an authorized Honda power equipment dealer, they also supply replacement parts and warranty service. It gives me some peace of mind knowing that I can bring my very expensive new mower here if I have problems during and after the warranty period.
