I haven't shopped at Burlington in so long the name was still "Burlington Coat Factory"…read more The chain was really popular before we could find everything online. One could always find beautiful coats. As a child my mother would take me there when Hudson's didn't have what we wanted. Anyway, looking for a simple black dress for layering, I went to several area stores and found nothing. I decided to stop into Burlington. While there basically were no dresses, I did find lots of black pairs of pants and skirts. I also noticed plenty of body care items, tchotchkes, purses and handbags. I also noticed many men in their section, which was seemingly fully stocked with items. In general, the store was no where near as stocked with goods or filled with customers like it once was, but I will definitely put it back in my rotation and shop there during times where I'm not looking for anything specific, but just want to be surprised.

So I return two days later with the item to be told no matter whether I exchange or return the item I cannot apply the full value spent towards my new item. When I asked how is that possible when you can't try items on in store no one had an answer for me. The employee then radio'd for a manager for the second time and the first response was the security guard making jokes about the situation. No one came until the employee physically left her register to get the then manager on site who was no help. She had the smart comment our dressing rooms are open right now. Then I had to inform her, but half of the other locations isn't like the one on the receipt or they are roped off and the employee added that they are also closed at night so they could prepare for closing the "acting" manager said well im not even the store manager so it won't let me and im not sure it would let them but you can come back again tomorrow. Come back for a THIRD time, for a maybe? That's how you guys treat your loyalty members?? I guess I'll have to strip down to my under wear in the aisles in the future to make sure something fits ... smh

This is a great shopping center. It really does have just about every type of store and then some…read more My only gripe is that it is way too massive of a shopping center to not have some type of directional signs! At the main entrance area (just off of outer drive/sthfld service dr) there are general signs. However, once you drive into the general lot (especially on the side where target, meijer, best buy is) you're on your own trying to locate a particular store. The major stores are pretty prominent, but the smaller stores literally get lost. Actually I get lost trying to find them -( not literally, but it would be helpful to have some type of direction/idea where a store may be before I go driving around that big ass lot). Also this is not the shopping center to park and conveniently walk store-to-store. It's just too big. A few of the smaller scale stores are clustered together, but for the most part the stores/restaurants are what i would consider driving distance from each other. Sill, this is my spot! I don't mind the driving to each store because it's all of my favorite/most-frequented stores thrown into one spot!

Regular shopping in the area but lately it's been trash everywhere. The trash bins are overflowing…read moreand trash is around the stores and parking lots. looking forward to new dining optio.
