They have a fun selection of purses, well organized by color. They have budget brands all the way to Frye and Coach (etc). Clothing ranges for budget to better brands, I have not noticed high end clothing brands, but I'm also not looking for them. I'm always pleasantly surprised by the large selection of sizes, said another way.... Not everything is a silly small. Lastly - the clothing and body care items are newer and nicer than I have seen at other stores like this. I almost didn't share this to keep my favorite TJs under the radar... but I take my Yelp service seriously Enjoy!

Particularly, Duluth Trading Co overalls. The pockets (so many!)! The comfort! The cute patterns! The flattering cut! The durability! The fit! Did I mention the pockets?? I did a count the other day and, uhmmm. I think I have a dozen of their bibs. Yes, I'm aware it's a problem. But I have so many different needs! One waterproof-ish one that I got for my trip to Zion and worked perfectly for my river hike through the Narrows, several pairs of heirloom gardening style in long pants and shorts, some solid colors as well as a few of the more whimsical patterns, etc. One denim, a few more "fashionable" varieties, etc. Dirt, clay, all of it just dust right off. They're so good, you guys! The heirloom bibs in particular are worth every penny but they have so many amazing sales and markdowns you'd be silly to pay full price. One day I was in my pottery class. Our classroom has a huge window that faces the street and people like to stop by and watch the potters in action. I was wearing a pair of my heirlooms (as per usual) and a guy came in off the street, peeked his head in the door, pointed at me, and said, "I know you are so comfortable right now!" And without a beat I said, "Duluth?" and he said "Heirloom" and the we laughed together then spent a solid 5 minutes talking about how great they are and convincing everyone in my class that they need a pair. Talk about an IYKYK moment! (Duluth, seriously, call me. I'd make a great spokesperson). My family has teased me over the last few years as I've acquired more and more but I'll tell you what, when I was walking around a rainy Greenfield Village H'alloween event I stayed nice and warm in my waterproof overalls, with the front pocket that perfectly housed my apple cider which I could easily sip through a straw, keeping my hands free for other uses. Anyway, my aunt watches me managing this outing with ease and says, "you know, maybe I should get a pair..." (she mocked me for my fanny pack 6 years ago too and look at where we are now!) Winning hearts and minds, y'all! Anyway, yesterday I went in and added 2 more shorteralls to my collection. One covered in small mushrooms and the other, a bright green succulent pattern. I have been shopping at this store pretty much since they opened years ago. My last experience was…read moremarkedly improved. I don't know if they have no management or what, but there was a significant improvement. The store was clean, the parking lot and the area at the side of the building were free from litter, shelves were stocked and employees were accessible. When I got to the checkout, there was only 2 registers open and a line was quickly forming. Two employees, I think one was a supervisor or manager, hopped into registers and invited guests to their lanes. The cashier was friendly and efficient (which is a pretty normal experience here). And as I was leaving there were 2 employees talking about shifts and they both made eye contact, thanked me for shopping at Target and wished me a nice day.

When I went in, the layout is off-putting right out of the gate, and the store looks old and tired. I went in to pick up my online order to save someone from having to walk out to my car. There is a large sign saying "Pick up orders." I walked into the makeshift room to, you guessed it, pick up my order. There were a few people getting orders ready and nobody offered help. An employee finally noticed me and said, "Um, ma'am, you can't be in here" with a rude tone. I said I was there to pick up my order and he repeated himself. I asked where I was supposed to go since there was a big sign saying "Pick up orders" outside that opening. He said there was usually someone there. So I stood there for I don't know how long until someone walked up and said, "Are you here to pick up an order?" My sarcasm wanted to kick in, but I held back from saying, "No. I'm just hanging out for fun." He scanned my barcode, handed me the bag, and I said, "Thank you," but he didn't say a word. Great customer service Dearborn Heights! (There's that sarcasm I chose not to use in-store.) They need a "No customers beyond this point" sign under the "Pick up orders" sign. I am thankful I won't ever have a reason to go back to this location.

I had the opportunity to visit it during the grand opening weekend. There were sales associates everywhere offering Kohl's charges and 20%. The racks were neatly arranged and it was so much fun to shop there. Fast forward to know, and this Kohl's is still well-stocked and a blast to shop at. Like all Kohl's stores, they offer fast and easy returns. I usually don't have a problem finding my size and the selection is great.

Here is the receipt. I was told by Diane (that sold her the items) that she did not recall the purchase and obviously did not mention a gift receipt. Crappy store policy not to honor their return policy. The owner did come out and state, only an exchange. Horrible policy! The sales gal was trying to help me and make conversation, and was nice. I was also told, wow, we usually do not do exchanges. If you are a small business owner, honor your policies.
