They wouldn't sell me the floor model claiming they would be getting more of this item. It was marked over fifty percent off and I don't think that was accurate information. There are people sitting on their phones all around the store and doing nothing, while the shelves are barely stocked. There were very little eggs and mostly all of them were broken. I'm a long time customer, I'm usually there weekly mostly on Saturday mornings and never really had any issues, however today was the worst, I stood in isle 11 waiting on someone to unlock the enclosure with the beard trimmers I pressed the call button, talked to two associates and after waiting for 20 minutes no one showed up, so I went up front and explained my situation to one of self check associates, she politely went to the office and informed someone of the situation, she returned and advised that someone was on the way to assist me, well I went back and waited for another 15 minutes and no one showed up, at this point I just decided to leave. I would give negative stars if possible! The staff at this Walmart is extremely rude, unprofessional, and racist! I was racially profiled (I am middle eastern) by a cashier and team lead when requesting a price to be honored for what it was listed as on the shelf's sticker and was denied. Even though the same discount I was requesting was honored for the customer in front of me (who seemed to be of the same race as the cashier/team lead). The employees were loud, cursed, and belittled me. The employees even turned their ID badges around so I could not obtain their names and when I asked for their names they refused to provide me their real names or show me their ID badges. I called Walmart customer service 4 different times and was promised that a manager from the store would call to address my concern and no one ever called me back! I would stay far away from this Walmart! Being a retail sales manager for many years myself, I can admit that retail is stressful, but there's a level of customer service that needs to be met and there's not one ounce or care from the employees or management at this store! I try to read most reviews to compare my experience and share any insight on things if they have changed. Unfortunately, Walmart in Dearborn is a total disaster. My family lives 12 min away, but will travel an extra 30 min to another locations to avoid this location. 1. The employees are careless and always unavailable and don't know how to do their job. This location requires an immense amount of help. 2. Extra help in cleaning, organizing, and assisting customers. Especially at checkout!!!!! 3. The location is nasty and things aren't always in their place. Looks as if a tornado passed through and employees don't keep up with the messes made. 4. The people that shop here are also negligente of the current circumstances and simply feel at easy to be messy and disruptive. I don't know what the cult like following for Walmart is from because they don't have the lowest prices on average (Yeah really they don't). But the corporate advertising makes you believe so. On to the store: they had a pre-black Friday sale which included a really good 26" TV for under $200 (slim, LCD TV). Savings of over $100. Sweet! I was going to order it online, but that was sold out within minutes at midnight, so I ordered it on line for Pick up in store (YES, you can order from the Internet based on the stores inventory level). This allowed me to skip the craziness that is Walmart with sales. So I waited for my text message (yes you can opt for text to let you know its ready) & went to the store that afternoon. As I figured, the parking lot was crazy packed as if they were giving away free stuff & I had to park darn near Ford Rd. (got my exercise in though). The staff there is NOT helpful & the lines are ALWAYS long. The pick up spot is in the far back of the store near electronics (to get you to impulse buy before leaving). Funny part was the people arguing over this same TV I was going to pick up. It was sheer comedy. I got to the counter, show the guy my text & he gets me my TV. He tells me that when they opened at 8am & went to pull it off the shelf, people were trying to get him to sell it to them & were upset that he was taking it. *Sorry that I got smart & did online reservation. lol* And they give you 3 days to pick it up. So if you are not in the mood to make the trip you can relax & go later. NOTE: If you buy a TV from Walmart & didn't buy the warranty upfront they will give you 30 days after you buy it to purchase the warranty, which I thought was cool. They also have a grocery section & a deli with hot food if you get hungry while cashing Walmart out. read more

I've read old reviews and found some fault. Our senior community go here at least twice a month. First, most people do wear masks (one reviewer stated no one did), all the staff do. Their website always works for me. But it is a very busy store. Depending on what you need or want, it may not be on the shelf when you are there. As for the check out lines, I always go self check out, and the line moves quickly. The biggest item I'd say was there isn't always shopping carts in the store or the motorized carts, and older scustomers may find it hard to go into the parking lot to get one, as well as the disabled and parents with kids -- especially now in winter with the possibility of ice & snow read more

So many registers in that store.. but at most it seems to be only 2 employees on the registers ! One line was almost wrapped into the aisles where people need to shop. It's ridiculous seemed like I was in line for an hour . They had a new employee working all alone that constantly had to leave the register to look for help . WOW. I mean just WOW. Since we were in that part of town we chose to use the supercenter Walmart to do some quick grocery shopping. Our main purchases would be their ribs on sale because they're Smithville, and to get an ice cream cake. Fair food prices, I thought, but not as good as other Walmarts that I have been to as well as other grocery stores. This surprised me. The only things I picked up where the ribs, some sugar, a stalk of celery, and the ice cream cake. Unfortunately, the cake was marked wrong and it was 100% more which was 100% more than I wanted to spend. So I won't up not getting my happy birthday ice cream cake. The place was crowded, dirty, and had empty shelves. The only bright spot in our brief visit was an employee in the checkout lane. Now I don't like to use the automatic checkout lanes however the other lines were out of this world. She was very helpful however I wound up not getting my ice cream cake. Disgusting! I rarely go to Walmart. I try to avoid it as much as possible but it's a convenient location, 1 mile from home. I won't go there again. The parking lot always reeks of marijuana. The customer service is horrible. I once witnessed a customer's child pick something off of the shelf at register. The child tore open the package at the register while other items were getting scanned. The parent saw, the cashier saw and turned a blind eye. I value my safety so I said nothing. Most recently, I went to buy a printer in a hurry. When I went to checkout the cashier could not find a barcode and said I could not purchase it. I informed them that I specifically came to buy that printer rather than the additional items I decided to purchase afterwards. How can you not sell something that is in the store for sale? I was then told that I could go back to see if there was another. The customer should not have to do this. It's an error on their part to not have a barcode on a sale item. I ended up leaving the check out line to get another printer. I did not open the box until the next day when I needed to use the printer. As I opened the box I noticed black specks on the styrofoam, pulled the printer out and saw dead bugs, I counted at least 5 before I was too grossed out. I immediately pushed the printer back in the box and returned to the store. I will never purchase from here again! When I returned, it seemed like customer service wasn't even surprised by what I saw. It's disgusting. They sell food in there. read more

This was my first Walmart experience in Michigan. I'm from New Jersey, and am used to my immaculately stocked local store. This was like a whole 'nother world. The craft department had paint vaguely strewn around on the shelves with no rhyme or reason. There is no gluten free section at all. The associate working in the hardware section approached my girlfriend, and me and then just glared before walking in front of us to stick something on the wrong shelf. I know, at the end of the day, this is a Walmart, but I'm used to the "expect more" part of their slogan to be at least vaguely accurate. read more

Went there and they told me I have to call online services.
