We didn't get to spend enough time at Cisco Brewers, something we'd definitely rectify if we had the opportunity to return. I'm not a beer drinker, but this wasn't an issue since there was also amazing wine and cocktails available. And even without all that, there was live music! They have a cover that they didn't advertise! We took the free shuttle there to be met with a $10 cover charge to just GET IN. When my friend asked if they always have a cover the person said "sometimes but it depends on the weekend". Apparently sometimes the cover could be as much as $20? After getting in my friends and i stayed for one drink but it is substantially smaller than you would expect. Beers were pretty average but it was hard to enjoy with the crowds. The prices were average for the area but we ultimately felt mislead. I even watched a few people get there, see the cover, and immediately join the line to take the shuttle back. Maybe post a sign at the stop when there's a cover cause we as well as other customers didn't see a cover mentioned anywhere while we were waiting. After looking into it their website says " During peak times there may be a cover charge to enter the property. This depends on capacity and we will not know in advance if there is a cover charge.". Can't visit Nantucket without stopping at cisco!!!! They're located quite far from downtown but they offer a free shuttle that comes and goes super often which makes it such an easy visit. Delicious food trucks and nice staff! The namesake grey lady can't be beat. read more

The best place to visit on nantucket BY FAR! I had a great time here. Its the only place on the island not overflowing with elderly people. Cisco has a fantastic variety of brews ranging in style and anywhere from 5-16%! Abv. I had the Dank-o-Rama which was a juicy IPA, and the barrel aged Saison. I was impressed by both. I was very impressed by the raw bar which was located inside a boat with ice. Nice feature. The oysters were fresh as can be. The brewery also has two food trucks so you can get whatever you want for food. The place just really has a great and lively atmosphere. The highest energy on the island. Visited Cisco Brew on our day trip to Nantucket on 7/27. Took the free Cisco shuttle in East Chestnut St., an easy walk from Main Street. You just can tip each way of both totally up to you, but well worth it! Very convenient. Shuttle driver informative about the brewery and its offerings, including what good trucks were there that day....(our driver talked really fast so listen closely!) . They had a few food trucks there... wood fired pizza, lobster rolls, tacos... We opted for the pepperoni pizza ($20 for an 8-10 inch pie - enough for a decent snack for the 2 of us). We started with froses($8 each, smaller cups than we are used to but it's Nantucket!); I also had the Summer Days beer. Nice seating under canopies-long wooden tables with small bench seats. I liked their 3 different buildings... one for wine, one for beer and one for spirits. They had an outdoor bar too for mixed drinks. Clean restrooms. It's a lively spot even at 12 noon! Rude and inhospitable, unfortunately. We had visited Cisco and in past and had always had a great time but recently we went over there on a bit of a dreary, overcast day, just hoping for something to do and had a really bad experience. Our group arrived in the afternoon and even though we were the only patrons there, we felt very unwelcome. It was almost as if we were annoying the staff by being there. It was drizzling and they discouraged us from taking any sort of shelter and asked us to not hang around the bars even though there was NO ONE THERE and absolutely no where else to go. I would have hoped they would be welcoming and accommodating since we came out in the rain. If you can't accommodate patrons in inclement weather then don't open! Major bummer, I definitely won't be going back. read more

Must-attend stop on any vacation in Nantucket -- if you like an outdoor courtyard with multiple top-quality food options and food trucks, multiple different bar, beer, and wine stations, a large area of tables, lots of fun people, a bunch of dogs, and live music on the classic, soft-rock side (at least when we were there). The whole Plover robe scene was a bit much, but I'm assuming that was a marketing event as opposed to a permanent look, but either the Plover peeps were fun, if a bit oddly attired in their moisture-wicking, thermoregulated $100 robes. read more

Great selection of house recipe cocktails as well as a (nearly) full bar to make whatever tickles your fancy. Fun bartenders at all service locations, great food trucks on-site. We even had a spread of oysters, clams and shrimp from the 167-Raw Bar tent that was open when we visited. This is one not to miss!!!! read more

This is a fun place to hang out with food trucks, beer, cocktails and wine available. Definitely felt like all the pretty people on the island congregated here. A very eclectic crowd ranging from families with small children, older people, and of course the young adults. The downside is the lack of seating and crazy cocktail prices. The beers were good and reasonably priced, however cocktails were over priced and inconsistent. My first one was made well, the second full of juice. Beers around $8 and cocktails were $14. We rode here on bikes and there is plenty of bike parking. It took us about 20 mins at a slower pace. They do have a shuttle to and from town. read more

A must! Spent a couple of hours here on Saturday and it was awesome. Great variety of beers to try and a few food trucks for the growling stomach. I had a few beers and bought a few glasses to take home. I ate the lobster roll with cape cod chips from the Mellie's food truck. It was fantastic! Keep in mind, this place isn't covered so if it rains during your visit, there isn't much options to run for cover. It's a great spot to hangout with friends so definitely stop in. read more

4 stars because honestly their beer isn't everything. I'm a little bit of a beer brat so, sorry Cisco. Their Winter Shredder is amazing. I also get decently buzzed every time I'm here because it's the only brewery on Nantucket and I don't feel guilty. As far as breweries go though, they're not bad. Occasional food trucks, live music, and a merch store (this last time everything was 50% off).. standard brewery shenanigans. They allow dogs, and BYOF. They have corn hole, real bathrooms, and tours (when it's warmer). They also have a selection of ciders, wines, rum, bourbon, cocktails and even eggnog. They're very versatile and having the gluten free/non-beer option are always nice for the people in your group who need a little more TLC. Definitely a go-to in Nantucket. read more

CIsco Brewery has that nice old timey feel with old bar saloons, live music and drinks. Each little house has each beer, liquor, or wine and all of them are pretty good and reasonably priced. Additionally, It has a variety of food stands and a tour of the brewery. The tour is a bit pricey at $20 but if you haven't gone on a brewery tour before it is worth checking out. You also get a souvenir glass afterwards. I got the grey lady which is a light wheat beer and my favorite brew from cisco. it was crisp and refreshing. Outdoor seating and the light breeze was excellent, coupled with live music and it was perfect. They also have some exclusive brews that you can purchase. I went here on a Sunday afternoon and it was wasn't too busy. I've heard from others that it can get a bit crowded during the peak season of July and August and on Fridays and Saturdays so if crowds aren't for you, you should probably avoid these days. Souvenir shops are set up all around the area in case you want to grab something before you go. Overall, I really enjoyed my experiencing here at cisco and will probably be back to try other drinks or just to relax read more

Calling this a brewery is generous at best. It's a college bar with a $10 cover to get in and 100% outdoors. Great for a spring break destination if that's what you're looking for, but if you're looking for high quality beer and a good brewery atmosphere do yourself a favor a skip this hot hell hole. Every Nantucket Island guide says to stop at Cisco Brewers so we did. Perhaps it was because of winter but there wasn't much going on there. Nice beer and cider selection as well as a bourbon bar on the opposite side. Limited seating indoors and it was a little chilly for outside even though they had some fires set up. I can see this being more fun in more temperate weather and also when they have food trucks as they do not offer food here. Glad we saw it though. read more

I was traveling with friends to the island, sharing a hotel room with 15 guys who I met through a travel saving company. It was fun to meet everyone and we have a great experience because the complimentary breakfast allowed us to take to go and we ran food back and forth so that all the guys could eat. The staff was fantastic and I tipped more than I usually would for breakfast because it was complimentary. I slept on the bed with 3 other guys so it was pretty packed but one of them i had previously messaged on Facebook so he was next to me and he didn't smell bad. This place has the best vibes on the island during the day. It's definitely worth biking or taking an Uber out to the middle of the island. The waiter was incredibly nice and the mixed drinks came out 2 seconds after I ordered them. The bathrooms were very clean (for a bar) and it was pleasant to go in them. On a sunny day this place will be packed. We got the last table and it wasn't even 1pm. It would be so easy to come here and drink 100 beers... the drinks aren't TERRIBLY expensive but the food is pricy. We got a lobster roll for $30 with a tip and 6 oysters and 6 shrimp for $40 with a tip. 2 mixed drinks and 2 beers was about $30 as well. I love Cisco Brewers, such a great getaway and place to spend the day on Nantucket. I always try to make at least one trip every time I'm on the island, and recommend everyone else try the same while visiting. Things are different this year but Cisco still makes for a great time. Tables are limited to 90 minutes, maybe 2 hours, I can't exactly remember but it's one of the two. Reservations aren't needed but you might have a wait otherwise. No live music, but that's allowed them to space out a little more for greater capacity. My favorite beer? Hazy IPA for sure, had to get a couple packs on our way out the door. read more

Was very pleased with how they organized social distancing. We loved biking there after 11am (when they open) to beat the crowds. They require masks, check ids, provide wristbands, take your information for tracking/reservation purposes, inform you bar tenders will come to the table to take drink orders and only one person per table can go up to place food orders from three different venues - change day to day. Food trucks provided options from lobster rolls, to fresh oysters, Mexican corn, fish tacos, poke bowls, etc. My favorite drink was the "Blue haired Lady" (grey lady beer with blueberry vodka). This brewery is fantastic! If you're getting here via bicycle like I did, you really have to look for their sign. It's small and low to the ground and if you're whizzing by on a bike, you could easily miss it. No cover to get in and delicious beer! There were food trucks and multiple bars. I loved the lobster roll I ordered from the Nantucket Lobster Trap food truck, and the brewery's Grey Lady Ale. I wish I could have tried their famous Blue Haired Lady and Whale's Tale Pale Ale, but I was traveling solo and couldn't drink 3 beers all by myself. I loved their aesthetic with the food trucks, picnic table outdoor seating area, and many many flowers. It had cool & casual country vibes, and it would have been nice to come back and listen to a band play there. One thing that surprised me was how many kids were there. Unfortunately there were no games (cornhole, hopscotch, etc.) for the kids to play so most of them seemed very grumpy and restless. Kind of limited seating though, we came on a Wednesday afternoon and we had to stand and wait for a party to get up. We also got oysters and a lobster roll. SO SO SO GOOD.
