Such a great winery. The wines are varied and consistently excellent. The staff is so fun - great service and conversation. I would love to have an event here- it's so pretty and cozy and comfy. Whole experience was fantastic. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Great afternoon at Nasketucket!!! The wine was delicious, and the atmosphere was comfortable and enchanting!

Atmosphere is nice don't get me wrong. Wine is NOT good. Anyone who knows wine will agree. Not the friendliest owners either.

Happened upon this place while visiting the area, without even realizing it had only been open 2 months. The wine was really good (though just starting out, they currently sell by the glass, no bottles to take home), absolutely everyone on staff that we interacted with was super friendly. The tasting room is inside a renovated barn, surrounded by grape vines. A really cute place, we would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Sarah was in charge of our tasting and was very informative! The barn for tastings is lovely.

We stepped into their beautiful tasting room and were excited to find a new sparkling white on the menu (of course we had to bring a bottle home). I also stayed true to my usual go-to, the Vidal Blanc... cold, crisp, refreshing, and always a winner. As always, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We spotted familiar local faces, chatted with the knowledgeable and friendly staff, and even got greeted by an adorable puppy which absolutely made our day. Between their great events, visiting food trucks and the peaceful setting, Greenvale continues to be a staple for anyone looking to enjoy great wine and a beautiful slice of Portsmouth. Highly recommend a visit!

Stay away from the big corporate places and absolutely go here !…read moreSo I'm already planning my child's wedding here and she doesn't even have a boyfriend. We accidentally stumbled upon this insanely amazing vineyard on our way back to the airport from Newport. It is off the beaten path and right on the river. The staff is beyond friendly and really knew their wine. They have an extensive wine list. I would highly suggest getting the flights. At the particular time we were there if you bought two different flights, you were only missing out on tasting three different wines. If you are a Chardonnay lover, they have four different types right now oak undo in a few more. They have one wine right now that screams Thanksgiving dinner. They are all back is to die for. You were right on the river and they have bonfires some nights as well. Plenty of inside and outside seating of course they do a wine club which I still may go back and do. I truly cannot say enough about this place. It just seems like you're in a rustic German village drinking wine looking out on a a vineyard on one side and a beautiful river on the other.

Ultimately we ended up having a tasting with Mike. We ordered a charcuterie to go along with it. It seems that they typically do tastings at the bar counter, but they also have a number of tables for people to sit at. While the dining room is small, we felt comfortable based on how many people were there. The windows look over the parking lot and down to Plymouth Harbor. Now for the wines: At this winery, fruit is king. Most of their wines are fruit wines, but they do have some grape wines as well. You will have to visit to taste between their wines. Some of our favorite bottles were the Strawberry Bay, Widows Walk White, Apricot Bay, and the Colonial Red. Definitely make an effort to try all of the wines, as there a few enough, but also because they can be compared to one another (but all are truly unique!). It is worth getting the charcuterie with the tasting as some of the items pair very well with the wines. Mike also did an amazing job of curating a tasting experience that left us wanting more! He juxtaposes the wines to various other products they sell, and embellishes with the best stories!! Do take time to visit this winery when you are in Plymouth, and enjoy some wines that you will not find anywhere else!

With that being said,…read moreyou can imagine my glee when Truro was offering pours of cranberry wine on a late November afternoon during our visit. Wine in hand, we picked up just about every item in the gift shop and dreamt of a checked bag to stow it all away in. We meandered out to the tent and cozied around a fire pit to savor our glasses of wine. Back to my dreams of a checked bag: If I'd brought one, it'd be full of bottles of that exact cranberry wine and just enough bubble wrap to ensure safe transport. Our view was faintly lit by dainty string lights cheering up the out-of-season rows of grapes running up the hillside. My mom and I decided this would be a stunning wedding venue and got to pretend planning. I could've sat around that fire, sipping wine and chatting with mi familia, until I was old and gray. Truro Vineyards was the actualization of my every desire for a glass of cranberry vino, and I will remember it for time and eternity!

It's really good if you like sweet. Our guide was very clear and knowledgeable about the process of making the wines and the transportation of grapes to the vineyard. The rolling hills of grapes on vines, through pretty small compared to California wine country, provided a lovely backdrop on the property, where we were free to roam with our glasses. If you can't bring home any wine, the shop has great wine accessories and vineyard merchandise that I wish I got. Luckily, we each got to keep our Truro wine glass for more sipping in the future.
