So sad that we've been going there for years without any problems, then a few months ago every single time we've ordered a sub untoasted/NOT toasted (and that's exactly what we emphasize) and it comes to us toasted. And once it was even blackened on one! We usually speak up when something is wrong, however if the waitress seems to be the only one that cares there's no point in going back. Been here many many times before and gone inside to eat in, but called in order tonight and when we got there it was ready the guy opened the window at the drive thru and said nothing to us. Not a hello or anything. I had to say I'm here to pick up a call in. He then said "name". I told him and he shut the window. Came back a few minutes later with a total we paid in cash and he walked away again. Came back with change and order. As he headed the order to us I said can I get a Togo menu and he shut the window walking away. I still don't have my Togo menu and will not order Togo from here ever again. read more

This is the first time we have been there since they moved to the new building. I saw they have good reviews so I wanted to try it. We tried it 10+ years ago when my daughter was 2yrs old and what turned us off was we are non smokers and we had to walk thru the smoking section to get to the non smoking section. Because of all the smoke we could not enjoy our meal. This time in the new building I had a pasta dish and my hubby had a pizza and it was great. Fast service. Nice staff. we will be back. I have been in Virginia for 10 years and this is the best pizza I have had since I moved here from New York. And they will do any pizza on the menu by the slice! Amazing staff as well. Only downside is that they are closed on Mondays. Perfectly located in the plaza across from Walmart. read more

I ordered an eggplant parmigiana sub. It was bland & boring. Served with steak fries. Not impressed overall. Prices were decent. Maybe the Italian entrees are great, maybe I'm spoiled because my mom is Italian & I grew up eating her versions of classics like eggplant parmigiana. First trip to the new Ciros and we were impressed! They were super busy, but the staff handled it like pros. Pizza took a while to come out, but our drinks and fries were really fast. Everything was delicious and the new building is a big upgrade from the old spot. My new favorite sit down pizza spot! read more

We are all about supporting small local businesses in these difficult times. We have invested many thousands of dollars in strict local business during this time of quarantine. Last weekend we ordered a medium pizza. We were told 35-40 minutes. We arrived and paid, it was just over an hour when the pizza got to our car. We figured it was Friday night at 7ish and the restaurant was trying to adjust. We got our pizza with no apology for the wait. Last evening at 9:45 we ordered a small pizza. We were told it would be ready in 5 minutes. We drove to the restaurant, about a 10 minute trip. We paid and noticed we were the only customer. After about 5 additional minutes of waiting at the window we spoke up. We asked why the wait? We were told the pizza had to cook. We stated "we get it" but asked "why tell someone 5 minutes if that wasn't the case". We felt it reasonable for 20-25 minutes and would have gladly accepted the estimate of time. The manager or owner, unsure of which, gave us major attitude when we expressed our mild aggravation. We were told he was having a lot of problems. We assume he referred to the quarantine and perhaps business slow down. All he had to say was he was sorry for the delay and we would of been fine with that. After no apology we stated this would be our last order. This individual handed the pizza through the window prior to slamming it closed and loudly stated he never wanted to see us there again. We like Cirros pizza. Unfortunately with this treatment we will no longer be supporting this local business. Whatever happened to going above and beyond for the paying customer? Whatever happened to the "customer is always right" business approach? We were not looking for a free pizza just an acknowledgement that they made a mistake and our time was valued. read more

I used to love Ciro's but recently I think they've gone downhill. I went in with my family a few weeks ago and we ordered a couple of different dishes. I got a small pizza which originally came out cold and not fully cooked and then when they brought it back out it was burnt. My brother got a grilled chicken sandwich which when he bit into it it was still pink inside. There were a couple other issues but all in all a bad experience. I am a huge fan of the pizza here. That's putting it lightly, I probably order pizza from here at least once sometimes even twice a week. What can I say? Good pizza is hard to find. It's not only their pizza though, their subs and pasta dishes are definitely worth the visit too. The service is always wonderful. They have a slew of veterans who've been working there for a long time who obviously love their jobs and the customers and it shows. The ladies at the register are always friendly, no matter how busy they are, they always ask how you're doing and make conversation while you wait. Worst service. Generally we have always had a wonderful dining experience. However this time had was probably the straw that broke the camels back but we were seated promptly ordered our drinks my four-year-old grandson was served an adult cup no straw no lid. We asked for a lid never got one I had to ask for straws and she threw them down on the table we then ordered our food and being a restaurant manager in the past you always bring the child food first instead she brought my grandsons food and my daughter-in-law's food last the cheese sticks were overcooked the french fries tasted like they were partially Raw and my daughter-in-law's calzone had raw mushrooms and veggies inside of it. When we asked the server about this she probably said they're supposed to be raw you have to asked for them to be cooked. That is not the way you prepare a calzone. Took forever to get it took forever to get our check so just to let you know we will most likely never be back there was no apology for the poorly cooked food at all. Have been several times in the last five years, not consistently until recently. Here recently at least 4 times a month on a Saturday or a Sunday. In fact if they delivered, we'd eat there a few times a week. SO: Their menu is EXTENSIVE. It's has at least half a page of appetizers (the best imo is the mozzarella sticks with WARMED marinara).A page at least of pasta varieties. They also have subs, sandwiches (burgers and what not), salads and soups too. It is a bit run down in appearance but it's tidy and the servers and bus people seem to be very attentive. Now for my favorite thing. They serve pizza by the slice. The few places in town that serve pizza maybe one other does this. It's pretty good pizza too. It's not limpy whimpy pizza that droops but the straight out pizza that I've experienced in NYC. That with fries and a drink is our go to but we've also had full dinners there. Their house salad is good. They put carrots on their veggie pizza which sounds weird but tastes great. They have spumoni ice cream which is a nifty touch though the last time I got it, it was freezer burned. There bathroom are small but clean. And there newer servers have epic mustaches or cool personalities.
