I went inside and had every intention of ordering the Rib Eye and was told about the special Smoked Barbecue Brisket... the price for the plate was just as tasty as the dish sounded.. it came out looking like it was ready to be devoured... a mob of fries came with it... I got to meet the chef this time Terrell and thanked him for the great meals I've had... this place is a great place to stop and eat... so three beers later and a second sandwich I waddled back to the truck and passed out... i had a great meal and can't talk highly enough about the manager and chef... great guys doing a great job running this fine restaurant... kudos... and thanks again.. cheers!

McDonald's and Subway were options, but both have built global empires by serving substandard food that our family refuses to eat. The local Pizza Hut has been dubbed the "dirtiest in America." But then, standing on the eastern outskirts of town, a shiny beacon summoned us from afar, that vaguely elliptical emblem with the letters DQ in the center. This was the best option for dinner in Winner! The chicken strips, cheese curds, and french fries were on par with other Dairy Queens, as were the endless ice cream treats, including a rare DQ with my favorite butterscotch dip cone. They even had the modern soda machine with a push button touch screen to select any drink you could possibly want. And they have a giant spinner with different flavors of blizzards if you can't make up your mind. Thanks for living up to the DQ standard!

I was passing through and saw some locals folks going in, which is usually a sign that it's a good place to eat, and it was indeed. Huge hamburger and fries, very tasty. I was too full to try the ice cream, but the selections looked great. If you're pulling into this wee little town to gas up the car, it's well worth your time to drive a couple of blocks and visit this locally owned business. read more

This restaurant holds true to all the positive reviews ... clean, good food and nice people. We found this place on yelp while driving cross country (from PA to OR). The grass-fed beef burger was delicious! My husband even stated that it was better than the juicy Lucy we had in MN! Lots of different options and GF bun available, which was a huge plus. What a great hidden gem! Stopped here with the fam on the way back home from Mt Rushmore. Near the highway. Burgers are awesome and the meat comes from a local farm (Sand Point Farm). Great variety of desserts. Staff is extremely friendly and fast. read more

Deep fried pickle spears are solid too. Lots of beers and a full bar, which is needed for the hot summer days or the long ass drive to the hills. They also just expanded for more seating. The place is in an old machine shop/gas station. When you get off the Draper Exit it is right there on the right. I know it looks abandoned, but go in and eat. This is a jem. I will give you a 99.9% guarantee you will not be hearing banjos or placed in a pit and forced to put lotion on.
