a plate of breakfast food

Driving through SD, we wanted a good ol breakfast plate. Visited Hutch's, loved it. Basic breakfast menu. Not fancy but very solid, we enjoyed it. Good way to see local life in SD. Pleasant service and delicious oatmeal cookies to buy to-go.

For sale signs posted. Pretty sure it is closed for good.

They are closed and the place is for sale. Food is scarce on this route and we were disappointed. Don't waste your time stopping here.

Stopped for lunch on our way home from the Black Hills. Very clean - wonderful atmosphere. Our waitress was really good. Extremely friendly workers and clientele. Oh - and the food was amazing and definitely made from scratch.

This is an excellent, small town family restaurant. They don't skimp on portions Great cheese burgers. Breakfast served all day. Very friendly atmosphere and good service.

Shrimp and fries

We stopped in here for lunch on way to The hills. My husband got the shrimp and fries, he liked it. I got 1/2 of the hot beef special, the flavor was good, but my food was warm not hot. The waitress was very kind and friendly.

Food is great! I would highly recommend the roast beef dinner! Was a lot of food for the price! Staff of very friendly and accommodating! They are closed Mondays but worth the stop ever other day of the week!!

This place is no longer in business. We walked up from the RV park, but the building is for sale and the closed sign is out.

The CLOSED sign in the window seems permanent, even though their web site is functional.

Food like my grandma made! The grilled ham & cheese was great, the onion rings in the "garbage basket" were fantastic.

Where else am I going to eat when I'm in Presho? If you can't beat 'em, join 'em, so bring on the garbage baskets.

This is a solid choice for local dining…read more I will begin by saying the exterior of this building gave me pause. I have walked into a few 'less than friendly' establishments in my life and the exterior gave me that vibe. Thankfully, inside is a warm and delightful business with plenty of food options and stiff drinks at a fair price. No beer on tap, but a fair variety in cans. Definitely a space to bring the family, there are two dining areas. One to the right is a long narrow space with booths on the front side and tables in a variety of four and six seating configurations. Decor is wildlife pictures and dark paneling. No windows. To the left of the entrance is the bar and another grouping of dining tables. Parking is on three sides of the building and there are no designated parking spaces. Just be sure you and others can get in and out. The building entrance is street side. There is no awning or anything to let you know 'this is the one'. The menu has a kids section for the young ones. The regular Saturday special was prime rib w/a salad, roll, potato and dessert. So much food! They also offer a couple of ground buffalo meat meals along with sandwiches and entrees. We went with lighter fare and found a side salad order gives you one walk up to the salad bar. They also have a soup & salad bar meal option. As in most other restaurants we've encountered on our travels through the area, the salad base is a bagged iceberg lettuce mix. There were plenty of toppings and salad dressings to choose. My mushroom swiss burger was tasty as were the onion rings. The burger was well cooked and not greasy. Real onions in a tempura style batter had a nice flavor and crunch. Our waitress was pleasant with all the guests and she kept a close eye on us. We had our drinks in good time and the food came in an expected amount of time. Pay at the register by the door on your way out. There's a basket of candy just behind you there (I had a butterscotch. Yum!) and toothpicks are available in a dispenser on the counter. The internet tells me they are open until 11pm.

The lady at the office took the time to move us to what would work. #46 pull thru. we had to lower the nose all the way down on our 5th wheel. But it worked. Cable available *could not get any channel, antenna NO channel. ice is expensive at the RV office. The view was worth the effort. The Bridge Restaurant in the Hotel has great steaks, and salmon dishes. We were told mix review. but a couple of folks from a cattle company stayed in the park, said it's food.
