This place truly has something for everyone. Whether you're looking to indulge a really sweet tooth or something not so over the top in terms of sugar you'll find it here. Lots of organic ingredient items as well as vegan options. There aren't a lot of food options in Twisp but this place would do well even in larger towns. The staff was very friendly and took the time to answer all our questions about the area. Highly recommend if you're anywhere even remotely in the area. read more

Before I even stepped in the door, I wanted to give this place a five-star so badly because of the name. It's ... so perfect. Thankfully, the bakery lives up to it. Good coffee, good sandwiches, great baked goods. I'm a big fan (of course) of the titular cinnamon twisp, which is the best take on a cinnamon roll I've seen in a long time but no worries if they're out or if that doesn't speak to you: the other baked goods aren't going to let you down. read more

On a good note, this bakery makes great cookies & AMAZING sandwiches, and it is very clean and inviting. However, I am worried that the bakery does not use natural and organic ingredients. I would like to see the bakery make a switch to healthier foods. Believe me, it is possible to make incredibly delicious baked goods that are high in good fiber and nutritious enzymes. I will set the record straight...I am not a bakery/baked goods/sweets kind of gal. I don't go weak in the knees over cookies, muffins, or basically anything sweet. My husband on the other hand LOVES a good bakery, so in spite of the fact he was full we found ourselves walking towards the Cinnamon Twisp Bakery. He went with the classic Cinnamon Twist (I tried a small bite, MUCH too sweet for me) and I ordered a cranberry oatmeal cookie which was delish. I could see if you are a sweets loving person, this would be the place for you. The woman who served us was super nice and she and JP had a conversation about the sweet roll the bakery in Pateros serves (both had recently had it and were talking about the fact they use TOO much frosting....I think that says a lot coming from 2 people who obviously love baked goods. read more

I like this place. Really good baked good and other deli type items. We have been here a few times and I have never had a bad experience. They area little pricey, but not so much that it would stop me for a treat. The Cinnamon Twisps were great, especially in our cabin with a cup of coffee. I have had their cookies and love 'em. Great bakery with good coffee, local vibe and place to chill and work if that strikes your fancy. There is usually a 1/2 price sandwich special, so look for that. Lines can be long at park breakfast hours so plan accordingly. read more

i can't rave about this place enough. i stopped in for lunch during a long stretch of driving around washington. the staff is so friendly and the sandwich was easily one of the best i've had in my life. i previously referred to it as my "dream sandwich" and that still holds true. if i ever get the chance to travel to the pnw again, i *will* go out of my way to stop here again. Really cute, homey, comfortable bakery. I really love this place. Great ambiance, great food and great coffee. They have a lot of gluten-free baked goods to offer. My friends live near here and come here very often and invited me to join them here. I was really glad they are open early for coffee- the only place in town that I could find for coffee at that hour. And I"m glad. It was good, when the other place in town was not. My favorite place in all of Methow Valley! The lemon blueberry brioche is the most delicious pastry I have ever had. My home is up Twisp River and whenever I go to town, my first goal is to get to the Bakery before they sell out of what I want. Everything I have ever had there (and I've had just about everything they offer) has been exceptionally yummy, perfectly spiced and full of healthy ingrediants. I love the namesake rolls covered with chopped nuts, but their quiche, pizza, and breakfast eggs, sausage, etc. rolled in a flour tortilla with salsa are favorites. Check out their day old section for great deals. Locals know that if you want to give a nice present to someone and you don't know what they'd like, just get them a gift card to the Bakery. NOBODY could be unhappy with that. Great meeting place, it's bright, light, open, natural decor with local art on the walls...and offers FREE wifi access. What more could you ask for? Just seeing the words "Cinnamon Twisp Bakery" makes my mouth water and my heart grow warm. It's been nine long months since this Seattle dweller last stood in the presence of their divine array of whole grain baked goods and wavered over which delectable item to savor this time. Everything is good. The scones, the fruit glazed pizza, the panini, the cookies...Oh my the cookies. We always bring some home to our friends who watch our little dog while we motorcycle over the North Cascades Highway and return again and again to savor a Sunday break at the Cinnamon Twisp. Wow! The Cinnamon Twisp was tasty indeed! I wish I had bought more. When we saw this bakery on a trip through Twisp I knew I had to stop and sample some goodies. The namesake Cinnamon Twisp is a must try item. So are the chocolate chip cookies they sell, they were quite possibly the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever had. I only wish I had tasted them while still in the bakery (or still in town for that matter) so I could have stocked up. The brownies were good too but don't stick out in my mind like the cookies and Twisp do. read more

How can you not stop in every time you come through town? The Cinnamon Twisp buns are gooey, tasty goodness. They have 2 types of coffee plus decaf that you pump yourself. The chocolate chip squash muffins were excellent and if you feel like lunch you can order a slice of quiche or a hot paninni sandwich and sit in their dining area or at one of the little tables out on the sidewalk. We stopped here on our way back to Seattle from a few days in Winthrop/Mazama. It's right in town just off of the highway. The cinnamon twist is not too sweet, which is perfect for my tastes. While the bagels are homemade and tasty, don't expect them to be the traditional crusty outside and warm doughy inside. They really are just breaddough shaped into a circle and then baked. The coffee was good just a tad bit burnt. read more

Try the namesake pastry, the cinnamon twisp. We took some fishing and were dreaming about going back for another the next day. The garlic bagel was also delicious and everyone working there was a hoot.
