Such a cozy little bakery! The cinnamon rolls are fresh, gooey, and made exactly how you want them. The staff was so kind and patient while I picked my toppings. Loved my experience -- can't wait to come back.

I seriously cannot believe these cinnamon rolls are vegan! Absolutely delicious! I finally got to try Cinnaholic in Metuchen, and it did not disappoint. I went with the Cookie Monster cinnamon roll, and it was everything I hoped for and more. The cinnamon roll itself was perfectly soft and warm, and the Cookie Monster toppings were delicious. It was rich and decadent and the icing was perfect. I'm already planning my next trip to try another one of their amazing creations!

My daughter has been trying to get me to try Cinnaholic for some time and I gave in yesterday. I am so happy I did. This place is cute, but more importantly the cinnabuns are delicious and being able to customize your cinnabun with so many choices! Game changer! I had my cinnabun with no frosting and the strawberry blueberry topping. It was delicious. I also had a coffee with oat milk and caramel syrup. Perfect addition. The young ladies running the shop were just delightful. If you're in Metuchen and in the mood for something sweet, check out this delightful little shop.

The absolute best cinnamon rolls I've ever had -- 10/10 definitely recommend. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable on all of their different offerings which makes ordering super easy. As an indecisive person myself, I very much appreciated it. If you don't have a major sweet tooth, the icing might be a bit too much, but for me, it was perfect. The rolls themselves are the ideal combination of soft and flaky, and the icing is warm, sweet, and honestly super addictive.

Soooo.. the cashier/ server was using her index finger to clean out the food she had stuck in her teeth when we walked in. My wife asked if she would be washing her hands, to which she said yes. But ultimately I was too grossed out. So other than this, it looked and smelled great in here. My kids still wanted something and they enjoyed their options. My wife comes here all the time, since it's one of the ONLY safe options to accommodate my daughter's food allergy restrictions in the area. This was my first time coming myself; and will definitely be my last. I don't wanna knock the business; but unfortunately I just can't unsee it. From her lack of care once we asked her to wash her hands (almost like it was business as usual with the way she delayed a solid 3 minutes to do it). To her handling the cash transaction with her other unsoiled hand, was just extremely off putting.

Had to visit this cinnamon buns and cookie store made famous by Shark Tank. Their gluten friendly choices and holiday themed cinnamon buns are delicious . You can even customize your cinnamon buns fresh and hot right at the counter. Paid parking is available right in front of their store for $1 per hour, and they even have hot coffee and chocolate to compliment your sweet tooth cravings .

Absolutely amazing!! The store is small but cute. The associate was pleasant and answered all my questions. I ordered the Very Berry Signature Roll and every bite was perfection!!

We just finished eating dinner and wanted something sweet to eat, and here we are! We met the very proud owner, as he should be. We ordered the peach cobbler and wanted dead or alive. Loved the glass casing with all the goodies displayed. The establishment was cafe style with outside tables. We'd recommend it and we will be back!

Wow!! This place is ridiculously delicious! We couldn't decide which one we wanted to try. So we got two pastries and cookies. They were fresh out of the oven. So gooey and tasty!! I want to get me some every week. It's that darn good! Hidden secret! I will make my way there tomorrow.

Only a few months after the closure of its next-door neighbor (the pokebowl restaurant Fresh Coast), Cinnaholic's fifth NJ location opened today right next to the Woodmont. Predictably, the line for the $2 buns from 10 AM to 2 PM was about 20+ people deep when I stopped by during lunchtime. What I didn't predict was a DJ under a Cinnaholic tent outside blasting deafening hip-hop directly at the people waiting in line. (I'm sure the Woodmont residents and the rest of Metuchen also enjoyed having their ears explode for four straight hours on account of this grand opening. The amount of rubbernecking from cars passing by was epic.) I would have been willing to pay full price just to not have to wait in line for so long while losing my hearing and my mind. I tried a cookie monster, which was edible but not noteworthy enough to justify the hype. It takes more than just ice cream toppings and vegan ingredients to make a good hipster pastry. I may come back to try the cookie dough, which looks slightly more promising.

We went to visit and try their vegan and fruit flavored cinnamon rolls. Our first time here. They opened more than a month ago here in Metuchen, NJ. I ordered a cup of coffee and Tropical Bliss roll. My wifey ordered Strawberries and Cream roll with walnuts. Both rolls have fresh fruits. Mine have blueberries, baby bananas, coconuts and raspberry frosting. They're delicious, not too sweet. Their rolls are 100% vegan, dairy & lactose-free, egg-free, and cholesterol-free. Clean and well lighted shop. Service staff are well coming and helpful. Best time to come and visit is during weekends and holidays, no need to pay the parking meters. Will be back here for a coffee break again.

Love coming here and seeing people from toddler age to folks with their grandparents. Bubble tea is for all! My husband loves to try the new fruity varieties that get added to the menu. Every few weeks there is a new, unique fruit combination that blows him away. I stick to my tried and true Thai iced tea with boba, and NOWHERE else has been able to compete. The details are what makes this place stand out. If you buy multiple drinks, they place your order in an adorable, reusable purple bag. Also, there is a rewards program. So if you're an avid boba drinker, make sure you sign up. Every few orders you can score a free bite to eat or bubble tea. Since it's a hit spot, this place can get packed at peak times (post work hours, and especially on weekends). So happy to have such a lovely shop in my town. Thanks, Akihi!

The inside was very different from your usual bubble tea spot, and it was very welcoming and cozy. I could definitely see myself just chilling and reading a book while enjoying my food and drink. I placed my order through the kiosk while looking over the menu, which had a lot of good options. I couldn't make up my mind and decided to go with the bubble tea and Oreo waffle crepe. Both items were good, and I enjoyed the waffle, which had ice cream as the filling and was stuffed with fillings, but it was a little difficult to eat since the wrapper is not very practical, and I had to use my hands, so it got a bit messy. Did I regret it? No way, I loved it; hopefully, they would just have a better container for it, lol. Definitely will get a sugar rush, so be careful hahaha. I would definitely go back to try the other flavors

Meet Fresh is a Taiwanese dessert shop specializing in traditional Chinese-style sweet dessert…read moresoups--comforting bowls built around ingredients such as red beans, sago, grass jelly, purple rice, tofu pudding, and almond. These desserts are common across Taiwan and much of East Asia, where sweet soups serve the role that cakes or pastries might in the West: a warm or cooling treat at the end of a meal or as an afternoon snack. The brand itself originated in Taichung, Taiwan, where it began as a small family shop inspired by traditional dessert recipes passed down through generations. Today Meet Fresh has expanded internationally, but the menu remains rooted in those classic Taiwanese dessert traditions. The menu includes hot and cold dessert soups, along with bubble teas, specialty drinks, ice creams, shaved ice desserts, and egg waffles--served plain or with a variety of fillings. I stopped in for a bowl of their Combo A hot red bean soup, topped with taro balls, fragrant red beans, crunchy peanuts, and soft, chewy boba. I also ordered a hot almond milk. For those unfamiliar with it, red bean soup is one of the classic desserts of Chinese and Taiwanese cuisine. Made from adzuki beans simmered until soft, it has a naturally earthy sweetness that is comforting without being overly sugary. It's often served hot in cooler weather and chilled in summer. The bowl here was generous and piping hot, exactly what you want from a dessert soup. The sweetness was well balanced--sweet, but not cloying--and the toppings added layers of texture that kept each spoonful interesting. The taro balls are another Taiwanese specialty: chewy dumplings made from taro and sweet potato starch with a texture somewhere between mochi and gnocchi. These were nicely elastic and pleasantly chewy. The peanuts added crunch, while the boba pearls brought their familiar soft chew, making the bowl a fun mix of textures. The hot almond milk was fragrant and soothing. In Chinese dessert culture this type of almond drink is often made from apricot kernels (sometimes called "Chinese almonds"), which gives it a slightly different aroma than Western almond milk. This one was very tasty, though it leaned a bit sweeter than I personally prefer. Service was pleasant and efficient, and the shop has ample seating, making it easy to sit and enjoy your dessert rather than rushing out the door. For anyone curious about Taiwanese desserts--or simply looking for something beyond cakes and pastries--Meet Fresh offers a comforting introduction to a whole world of sweet soups, chewy toppings, and traditional dessert flavors. I would happily return to explore more of the menu.

Meet Fresh is an international chain serving up Taiwanese desserts- shaved iced and grass jelly…read moredesserts along with milk tea and waffle creations. I'd recommend creating a custom dessert for what I felt like is better value, and coming at an off-hour due to the difficulty of finding parking in the plaza. --- Meet Fresh has a wide variety of desserts available: -Pudding & Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice (L)- I shared it between 4 people, and while it was a good size and I enjoyed the toppings, personally it felt too expensive for the amount of ice! I would be on the fence reordering this. -Signature Grass Jelly (hot)- This came with a side of peanuts. For the relatively expensive signature grass jelly dish, I was a bit disappointed at the ratio of grass jelly to toppings. I would pass next time. -Custom icy grass jelly with 5 toppings [sesame rice balls, taro ball, ice cream, sago, and Q mochi (taro mochi)]- This came with a side of creamer. I really enjoyed both the flavor and toppings in the custom icy grass jelly!! The ratio of toppings was better for sure, but it is a more expensive option. I'd probably still go for this option next time. The restaurant is more or less self-service. It is self-seating. You first order at the kiosk or counter, and then retrieve your order once your number is called. Later, you take your tray and clean up yourself. The interior can seat fairly large groups, maybe 20-40 people total depending on how you sit. One of the biggest obstacles to enjoying Meet Fresh is finding parking in the hectic and overcrowded parking lot. I'd find it hard to justify fighting to find parking for Meet Fresh until I had something else to also do in the plaza. Overall, our group had pretty mixed ratings, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd recommend coming when you're willing to splurge on a custom dessert creation.
