I had a pedicure and toenails trimmed uneven. They charge you for pedicure then add on $20 for gel on top of that. I also had my acrylic nails filled, the nail technician hurt me several times one the times I was in pain she burned my finger with the drill. They came out bad, thick for acrylic. I loved Cindarella for years but my last experience has left me incredibly disappointed. I went in last week (11/2/24) for a dip manicure, like always, and unfortunately all my nails broke within a week. Not just little chips but painful cracks, leaving my natural nails destroyed. I went in 11/10/24 to have the dip removed and they still left remnants of dip on the nails. Not to mention cutting them so short I was bleeding at the desk. When Cinderella nails opened in Webster it was my go to place, always clean, friendly and a good pedi. Over the last year it's gone down hill, but I keep going back to see if it gets better. The pedis have been rushed, under 30 minutes, the don't let you soak before starting to clean your nails and cuticles. They just want to turn the chair over. I alway s do gel on my toes during the summer and I understand it will be more money but $20 for gel polish?! The bottle of polish isn't even that much. I walked out of there spending $60 on a 39 minute gel pedi in which my foot was filed so hard I said owe and she kept filing until I pulled my foot back and was literally bleeding. No apology or anything just threw some misters solution on it and a bandaid and sent me on my way. Worst customer service and even worse experience. I'm officially done coming here. Unfortunately the other two "one star" reviews were spot on. I went the Friday of February break, and the salon was understandably busy. This may have been the reason I felt like I was being rushed through the appointment. Assay no point did I feel like my manicurist took his time and cared for the work he was doing. The first red flag was that my manicurist didn't do anything to soften my cuticles before pushing them back. No warm water, no cuticle oil. He pushed them back dry, and then rather than clip them off with a cuticle trimmer, he used the dremel tool that grinds the nail to take my cuticle off! He ran the grinder onto my skin and it has little micro cuts. When he put acetone on my nails later, it burned like crazy! (See picture) Despite the 50% off deal, I won't be coming back. I've been coming here for a while now mostly for pedicures. This time I got a mani/pedi and was very happy with how my nails turned out! I previously used Nailboo's dip powder and did my nails at home because I'm very picky about shape and length but I had two really severe allergic reactions to either their powder or the activator so I had to stop. Fortunately, the OPI dip powder Cinderella Nails uses didn't effect me as bad. Overall, I love coming here because they always do an excellent job and the atmosphere is just a vibe. I got a spa pedicure yesterday, and the tech scrubbed my arches (the soft, sensitive part of the foot) with the callus file when he was doing the heels and balls of my feet. I jumped the first time it happened, and he avoided the area afterwards, but then did it again on the other foot. I would have said something while I was there, but I thought he just nicked me and maybe they were just a little raw. I didn't realize how bad they were until after I left. I was in so much pain last night that I had to clean them out with hydrogen peroxide, and when it hurt to walk this morning, I had to use Neosporin, bandages, and socks to try and relieve the burning. I understand accidents happen, but I've had literally hundreds of pedicures before, and have never experienced this - on not just one, but both feet, at that. I regret not complaining while I was there, and although the salon itself was clean and looked nice, I will not be returning. read more

I came here and got a spa pedicure and a gel manicure. The experience itself was nice, everything seemed clean and sanitized, plus the environment is super relaxing. However I felt like my nail tech was rushing through the appointment and it caused some issues. My issue is with the quality itself. I went 2 days ago and one of my thumbs and big toe are already chipped. This is using gel polish keep in mind and I haven't done any rough activities that would cause a chip. I was excited about a new nail salon going in the webster plaza. I decided to check it out as everything was 50% this week. I gave 1 star for the one and only reason that the salon is very pretty and very clean. However, I am disappointed to say that the nail service was terrible. I don't know if the person I had was new to nails but I didn't ask for anything crazy I just asked for short filed squared nails. Well, she took short to a new level, I was actually shocked at how short she clipped my toenails...like to the point where it hurts in shoes. My manicure was also terrible, asked for square nails again and they were as round as can be...it looks like I painted them myself in a rush with very little cleanup on cuticles and surrounding skin. I've been going here for a few years- only about once or twice a year. I got a pedi today and never felt so violated lol that may be a little dramatic but he was really throwing me around like a rag doll. At one point he grabbed my leg and I almost slipped off the chair! The quality of work from this place has decreased with time. I just looked at the reviews from highest to lowest and it almost directly and exactly reflects oldest to newest, which is really sad. No good work ethic these days. Reluctantly went back because I was in a pinch. During the manicure, she missed the sides of my pinky nails and didn't cover the tops my nails. After I noticed it and asked for another coat, she yelled at me saying she already applied the top coat and that I need to do a better job of looking before a top coat is applied. Mam, isn't that your job? You rush my hands through the process of the manicure that I can barely see them. Not to mention, she electric filed my nails down to barely enough. I must confess..my last mani/pedi was 6 years ago but I was very happy with my experience here. Everything was very clean and they were very accommodating to our party (grandma, mother & daughter). If I had to give one critique, it would be to pare down the menu. When you walk in they are very quick greet you and ask what service you would like...I barely had an time to look at their menu since it was so long and I was being asked to pick out a color. well, this was the worst pedicure I've ever had in my life she didn't she pretended to to cut my cuticles and never cut anything. Just rubbed it with with the scissors horrible, horrible, horrible and her attitude was just as bad. I went in today to get a set of acrylics for my birthday this week. The man doing my nails was very helpful and respectful. However, If your looking for cheap nails i would go somewhere else. I was charged an extra $20 because what i wanted was more complex and an extra $10 for gems. I also asked for the gems to be put at the bottom and he put them right in the middle of my nails. He seemed to be getting annoyed with how i wanted my nails and especially when i asked for gems, but he was a cool dude. Overall i'm happy with the service but not the price i payed for what i actually got. This was my first time coming and i will not be returning. I payed 100$ for a set of acrylics, they aren't long or super hard to do. i used 3 colors so maybe that's why i was charged extra, but any other salon i've been to hasnt charged extra. I recently had a pedicure done. Why do they fill the tub up with water if they only let your feet soak for 1 minute. They are always in a rush to get you out of there. Sorry but if I spend 60$ my experience should last longer than 20 minutes (how is that relaxing). And to top it off they didn't even put the right color on my toes. I was blown away from the minute I walked in. Not only is it immaculate and clean, but the dipping powder selection is endless, they take their time on your nails, and they are incredibly friendly. My nails look better than they have in years and the prices are unbeatable. I was there for 2 hours for a manicure and pedicure and never once felt rushed. My mom and I came here for two pedicures to celebrate my birthday. We were greeted and everything was good until we sat down to get our actual pedicure. They were rushing us to pick a color and pedicure package, explaining nothing to us. When my mom asked how much this all was going to be the two employees doing the work had nothing to say. Then when they asked for payment my mom asked how much it was going to cost and the male employee coped an attitude rolling his eyes that we were asking for a receipt or a record of how much we were paying for it. $92 for two pedicures ???? I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience at Cinderella nail spa. They have a 20% off special for the month of March so I got a spa pedicure with manicure for $48! This included a paraffin wrap with heated mitts for my hands and a two minute shoulder massage with heat after the manicure. She didn't soften my cuticles with product before cutting but the paraffin did. She did a great job and I will go back. The place is beautifully appointed and the polish selection is great.
