When we entered, we were told, rushed and rudely, to sit and wait our turn for whatever service we wanted. We ended up waiting for 30+ minutes for a spot to open up. My mom requested a simple manicure and repeatedly requested to cease filing her nails as they are VERY brittle. Her manicurist proceeded to aggressively file her nails; top and sides leaving the nails in worse condition than when we came in. My nails were in better shape than my mother's and I had the owner, B, as my manicurist. She not only did not smooth out my nails, but she didn't do a proper manicure: cutting and shaping my nails or clipping cuticles, etc. She just coated them with a gel polish that turned out very uneven and chipped within days. Furthermore, B was constantly on her phone instead of paying attention to my nails. The manicure cost me upwards of $100, while my mom's was around $50. Not worth the money and the work was mediocre. Overall, the entire business is not run effectively, efficiently or ethically. The manicurists gossip to themselves in their language and ignore requests from their customers. The owner parks in front of the main entrance, making it inaccessible should someone who is handicapped visit the store.

My first two sets were hard gel over acrylic, and my most recent time, they removed the acrylic nail and did hard gel over my natural nails. This was my first time coming in after going to another local salon for years. I have problem…read morenails, and gel manicures never seemed to last more than a few days, leading to my needing re-dos and repairs. Because my nails are already weak, I ended up with very thin and damaged nails. Lynn took one look at my poor nails and immediately knew how to fix them. She gave me a beautiful IBD gel manicure and my nails have never felt stronger. Lynn is the sole proprietor of this salon, so she is not able to answer the phone at all times, and she sometimes has to answer during a manicure or pedicure. I saw that a previous reviewer had given a one star review because of this, but it is understandable, due to the fact that she is the only person there. You may call and get no answer (her phone isn't set up to take voicemails,), but she will call you back. It is true that Lynn only does gel and acrylic manicures, so if you are looking for traditional nail polish, you will have to go somewhere else. She is also a bit more expensive than my previous salon, but it seems to be well worth the price point. She also does not accept credit cards, but has an ATM in her shop. There is also a few banks within a couple of blocks.

I was greeted immediately by the staff and was sat down right away, all tho it was a hour before close. The lady I had did an amazing job. She stayed past close... if that doesn't show dedication and effort then I don't know what does. She was very nice as well and did an amazing job on the design, it was also pretty affordable. I unfortunately did not get my nail lady's name but I will be going back !!
