I am extremely upset and disappointed with my experience at Inails in Seneca falls today, August 27th, for my 6:00 PM appointment. I went in with my mom and asked for a polish change and to have fake toenails added to both of my big toes. One of the fake toenails had come off, so I simply needed it repaired. The woman doing my nails immediately made a big issue over the shape of the existing fake toenail. She kept insisting that it definitely was not done at their salon because it did not look like the new one she had just put on. I can assure them that it was done there--I had my toenails done at Inails on August 4th at 1:00 PM. What made the entire situation even more upsetting was the way I felt I was being treated. The employees appeared to be laughing, and the woman doing my nails seemed angry and was pointing at my toe while talking to other workers. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed. My mom was having her nails done by Layla, the owner, and when my mom asked what the issue was, she was told it was about the color to downplay the situation. However, from what I understood, that did not appear to be what they were actually arguing about. I used my phone to translate the conversation, so I was able to understand more of what was being said than they may have realized. I have been to this salon before and have been going there for awhile. which is why this experience was especially disappointing. I came in for a simple repair and polish change and instead left feeling embarrassed, singled out, and extremely upset. I believe customers deserve to be treated with respect and spoken to professionally, especially in front of other employees and customers. The way the employees were yelling at each other regarding this was not professional AT ALL. I hope this review encourages the salon to take a closer look at how customers are treated. I will definitely be sharing this to my friends who I have been there with many times and continue to spread the word to others.

They have a good callous treatment and the hot stone massage is great! Also they end all services with a complimentary neck/shoulder massage and it was a great touch! He used the dremel tool WAY too fast to where it burned my cuticles. When I winced he stopped briefly and I asked him if he could slow down. He did for a few seconds but then sped right up again. I asked for coffin shape and got uneven squares, which looked bad. The paint job itself was good though. I ended up cutting them down and rounding them off myself. I also didn't realize they didn't take credit cards until after the fact; nothing was posted on the doors or at the desk indicating that. I had to use their ATM which charged an additional fee. I understand wanting to get through a procedure quickly, but when you're physically hurting your customers because you're in a rush, that's a problem.

Because my nails are already weak, I ended up with very thin and damaged nails. Lynn took one look at my poor nails and immediately knew how to fix them. She gave me a beautiful IBD gel manicure and my nails have never felt stronger. Lynn is the sole proprietor of this salon, so she is not able to answer the phone at all times, and she sometimes has to answer during a manicure or pedicure. I saw that a previous reviewer had given a one star review because of this, but it is understandable, due to the fact that she is the only person there. You may call and get no answer (her phone isn't set up to take voicemails,), but she will call you back. It is true that Lynn only does gel and acrylic manicures, so if you are looking for traditional nail polish, you will have to go somewhere else. She is also a bit more expensive than my previous salon, but it seems to be well worth the price point. She also does not accept credit cards, but has an ATM in her shop. There is also a few banks within a couple of blocks.

I had the pedicure but the chair I was in had no controller so I assume no massage available. That was a disappointment. The staff was pleasant, asking me questions about my Royal Nail pedicure experience compared to his pedicure. It was nice and he did a good job, but if I had to compare the two, I would prefer Royal Nail experience. I have no complants about the pedicure from Queen Solar Nails, it was still satisfying. He asked if the other salon used oranges. I asked what the orange wedges were for, I was told it helps the toe nails and the skin. I think Royal nails takes more time, still my feet feel great!! I think there was some level of a communication barrier. Between the mask, pexi glass and laugage differences. I again had a picture of what I wanted to have done but it was changed at the end. I wanted a design on all my fingers but agreed to have 2 fingers. I thought he ment two fingers on each hand. Nope one finger on each hand. I wanted sparkle on all fingers. Even if it was just polish. But ended up with no sparkle, just gems on one finger each hand. At this point there were others standing around talking and waiting there turn and I felt like I was being rushed because others were waiting. Not just here, I have felt this way at other places as well. I said the nails were fine. They did look good, in the light in the salon, but I could hardly see the design. I did like the smaller gems. I wanted black but it was fine. The design seemed small and when I looked at the picture I had there was a layer of sparkle under the design I wanted. It just did not come out as defined as it should have been. Comparing the picture to the nails was a disappointment. 2x once in Royal Nails and once in Qeen Solar Nails. I can not win. Before Covid I could get what no wanted no concerns. I will just have to venture out and start reviewing them until I can find the ones that can do what they say they can do! Not what they think they can do. This was my only experience at Queen Soler Nails. I May try again Not sure yet. I think that if you want just basic stuff they will do a good job. If you are looking for someone to take there time to do what you want keep looking. Thanks for taking your time to read my thoughts on my experience! Have a great day!
