This was my first time coming to Glamor Nails. I was in desperate need of a fill and this was close by. I shared with the technician what I wanted and he got to work. He used the dremel tool WAY too fast to where it burned my cuticles. When I winced he stopped briefly and I asked him if he could slow down. He did for a few seconds but then sped right up again. I asked for coffin shape and got uneven squares, which looked bad. The paint job itself was good though. I ended up cutting them down and rounding them off myself. I also didn't realize they didn't take credit cards until after the fact; nothing was posted on the doors or at the desk indicating that. I had to use their ATM which charged an additional fee. I understand wanting to get through a procedure quickly, but when you're physically hurting your customers because you're in a rush, that's a problem. read more

the nail tech used a ittle grinder like tool on my nails due to staining from a darker nail polish. since then, every one of my nails that grow out a little, immediately breaks or tears. my though is he took to much nail off the surface. also, very unfriendly. i was also put off by them pulling and pushing my hands and feet instead of using words. read more

Second time coming here and again service was great. My first visit I had just a gel manicure and was in and out in about 40 minutes on a Saturday. I showed the young woman what style I was looking for and she nailed it. Second visit I went with a set of nails. Again showed the gentleman what look I was going for and he nailed it. Will be coming back for sure. read more

Went to Glamour Nails today for a pedicure. First time there and it won't be the last! The best pedicure I have had in years. Mhi was amazing! Best foot massage ever! Love the wide range of colors available. Can't say how long the gel polish will last or how it will hold up to being in dress shoes every day. I am a regular at Glamor and came to them due to other nail salons in the area with extremely long waits even with appointments. They are very nice and do a good job. I am no longer needing acrylic nails due to the dip process they use on my natural nail. It feels so much cleaner than the fake nails did. I also get regular pedicures there and have no problem. I would recommend to always make an appointment since their staff is limited. read more

First of all, I don't live in NY anymore. This place was recommended because I was taking my 7-year-old niece with me for her first mani-pedi. The people here were very, very nice. She got a mani pedi and the guy who did it was very kind, patient and gentle with her. When I got my pedi, the man used an electric file, like he would if I were getting acrylics. He told me it would help cut the cuticle. I regularly get pedicures so my cuticles should have been easy to work with, but I'll try something new. He removed the skin around my toes on five different toes. Three on one foot and two on the other. My toes are now red and look infected and o was awake most of the night because of how tender those spots are. This pic is less than 24 hours after the pedicure. If you go here, just don't let them use this tool. The rest of the experience was fine, though I will not be going back. read more

This place is great! I used to go under the previous management and it was ok. Not great but a lot friendlier than one other place here in town so i kept at it. They closed down and then a little while later Glamor Nails opened in the same location. All new people and a whole new vibe. The place is a lot cleaner looking than previously. They've taken out the TV screens and now pipe in very soothing music. And best of all, everyone is kind and friendly! I'm happy to have found a great nail salon where I feel like they value my business. read more

I went in for a pedi and mani. No wait and it was very clean and the people are friendly. Great choice of colors. She didn't take a lot of time with my cuticles on my toes or hands - and I left with polish around my toes and fingers. It was relaxing and she took her time but I'm really disappointed in the paint job! read more
