I had two people and after he did the gel polish, he went back and fixed any little tiny mistakes like a perfect perfectionist. honestly, they had to wake me up that's how good it was. Usually, I'm obsessed with cleanliness, but I was too relaxed to look around.. it was the best pedicure I've ever gotten easily and that's a big statement coming from me.

I was greeted immediately by the staff and was sat down right away, all tho it was a hour before close. The lady I had did an amazing job. She stayed past close... if that doesn't show dedication and effort then I don't know what does. She was very nice as well and did an amazing job on the design, it was also pretty affordable. I unfortunately did not get my nail lady's name but I will be going back !!

Cut me while doing my nails & they Charged me 60$ for a 45$ pedicure. No where on the pedicure menu does it say anything about charges for gel or anything (at least not on the description flyer at the chairs). Do NOT recommend!!!

I called 5 days before the day I went to Viva and made an appointment at 10am (when they opened)…read morefor my friend (a bride) and 4 of us bridesmaids. When we walked in at 9:59, there was 1 pedicure in progress and 3 others waiting in massage chairs for their pedicures. In addition, there were 4 people sitting in manicure chairs. Needless to say, we had to wait very long for all of us to get done, even though we had made an appointment. They accepted walk ins much earlier than their posted opening time, 10 am. Our nails looked fine, but it was pretty lame that they would let people in earlier than their posted opening time, especially when we had made an appointment.

He used the dremel tool WAY too fast to where it burned my cuticles. When I winced he stopped briefly and I asked him if he could slow down. He did for a few seconds but then sped right up again. I asked for coffin shape and got uneven squares, which looked bad. The paint job itself was good though. I ended up cutting them down and rounding them off myself. I also didn't realize they didn't take credit cards until after the fact; nothing was posted on the doors or at the desk indicating that. I had to use their ATM which charged an additional fee. I understand wanting to get through a procedure quickly, but when you're physically hurting your customers because you're in a rush, that's a problem.

One eyebrow was waxed a considerable amount more than the other. Good thing I have thick eyebrows and was able to sort of cover up the lack of eyebrow on the one over waxed eye. Also usually after a wax, they are supposed to trim the eyebrow and tweeze any leftover brows. They did not do this. I felt like they tried to do the job as quickly as possible and didn't take their time. At least that's what I hope it was, because if this is a regular way of waxing, then I would not recommend going to this place.

Make up - all women who chose to get makeup done absolutely LOVED their looks, including the bride…read more The makeup trial was helpful and fun. Linsey is very knowledgably and skills. The makeup lasted long into the night and made for beautiful photos. The mother of the groom is not used to wearing hardly any makeup, loved her look and was not "over done" but done exactly for what was fitting for her and her style. Some bridesmaids opted NOT to do makeup with the stylist and to DIY but I would recommend all going with the make-up artist to lessen stress of them doing it themselves if they have a bad makeup day and ensure it is going to be long lasting, plus you KNOW it is going to look amazing! Hair - all of Linseys updos were amazing and lasted all night. She is very skilled and able to do many different hair styles for all types of hair. My bridesmaids looked stunning.

Some of my coworkers suggested Modern Nails so I thought I'd give it a try. I ended up walking in vs. having an appointment. One drawback was that they seemed to have phone connectivity issues; I called a few times (from my cell and office phone to make sure it wasn't on my end) and every time it would ring once, click, pause, and then end the call. I saw they were accepting walk-ins so I wasn't too upset about it. I went in about 4:30 and only one other person was there with 2 people working. Anna did my set and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! I don't typically go for brighter colors but I really liked this one and Anna did a great job. Definitely making this my go-to nail place. I'm not sure if the owners look at these reviews, but I would recommend that they allow for FB messaging or messaging through Yelp just in case phone issues happen frequently.
