As soon as you walk in, you fell a welcoming feeling and they talk to you as they do your nails. With a tip, these cost $78 ($20 tip) so the price is not all that bad. I would recommend this to a friend. However the "waiting area" is only 5 chairs facing into the salon. But I do recommend for people who want to get their nails done, schedule ahead because they seem to be really busy during the weekend and during the week day mornings.

One eyebrow was waxed a considerable amount more than the other. Good thing I have thick eyebrows and was able to sort of cover up the lack of eyebrow on the one over waxed eye. Also usually after a wax, they are supposed to trim the eyebrow and tweeze any leftover brows. They did not do this. I felt like they tried to do the job as quickly as possible and didn't take their time. At least that's what I hope it was, because if this is a regular way of waxing, then I would not recommend going to this place.

I am very happy to have found Victor Rd Salon. I liked the brightness and the selection of OPI colors. The staff was beyond friendly and inviting. We got some New Year's gifts on our way out including $10 off our next visit and moisturizer. I feel the pricing to be fair. Didn't quite understand the 6% cash discount as the posted price of $30 for a pedicure is what I paid in cash. No signs said that the posted price was the cash price, but it was so reasonable that I didn't mind. I'm a stickler when I see cash discounts at shops or gas stations - I just don't like it personally. But I understand why the business does it. I had cash so I paid cash. But in a world where convenience is key, blatantly asking for cash is something I find a bit tacky. Off my 'cash please' soapbox- this salon was fantastic. I will definitely be back.

You will definitely want to read this before even CONSIDERING going here…read more.. I went to Cindy for 3 years while I was in college and was always a loyal client. I moved to Philly so I no longer go there, however, I wanted to treat my 15 year old niece to getting her nails done while I am in town visiting, so I took her here. we arrived to the salon, Cindy remembered me and all was well. My niece showed her a picture of what she wanted done and Cindy said no problem. So after an hour of my niece getting her nails done, they were not looking anything like the picture she showed Cindy...My niece simply asked if they would be shiny and look more like the photo once she was done (it was nearing the end so my niece was getting worried they wouldnt) and after she asked this simple question politely, Cindy went off! It was the craziest, weirdest thing I have ever witnessed. I will never understand why she was so rude and mean over not providing the requested service. She started yelling, standing up, stomping around and said I can't do that picture, a place in canadaigua can but it costs $75, so just go there!!! First of all, if you knew you couldn't do it, tell us that in the first place so that either we could do a different look all together or go somewhere else but instead she waited til she was nearly done to tell us this. So, then, my niece was just asking what her options were because she was unhappy with her nails and Cindy takes nail clippers and CUTS THE TIPS ALL OFF and tells us to get out.... I am not exaggerating when I tell you we weren't rude, (I'm in customer service myself so I get it), and she treated customers this way? And on top of it I now have too pay $5 in ATM fees for nothing. My neice now has acrylic on the bottom half of her nails and needs to soak it off on our own time and had to buy supplies to do so. All of these reviews saying how rude she is are completely accurate and I will never support her business ever again. Stay away! See photos of nails requested versus what my neice left with...
