It was a great meal for a rainy day. It was good. We opted to share a dessert: sticky toffee pudding. It was soft and the caramel was sweet and smooth. DELICIOUS! Overall great experience. Buttermilk Fried Chicken had super crisp skin and was executed and presented perfectly, great tasting together with the accompanied pickled vegetables and hot-honey butter. The best dish of the night. Sticky toffee pudding was as good as advertised: sticky, textured, with interesting mouthfeel offset by lightly whipped cream. Tequila based El Mariachi was tasty and balanced but not memorable.

There is a separate waitress for the bar area so you have to settle your bar table before moving over to your table. The menu has a plentiful of meals to choose from. I went with the fish & chips which was a good amount of cod. Also we had the oysters to start off with. The food was very delicious. We declined with the deserts as we were full. Second was just as bad. And they didn't take it off the check. Lobster pappardelle was nearly flavorless -- void of seasoning -- and I needed a magnifying glass to find the lobster in this dish. There were numerous service mistakes that I won't detail here. Suffice to say it feels like nobody is managing the dining experience. I've had better service in most diners than we had here.
