So I've been to this place about a dozen times for car wash, oil change, state inspection, tire rotation, etc. I was (and still am) a long-time customer of the original CincoAuto mechanic on Cinco Ranch Blvd. and figured this experience would be similar. A couple of negatives: 1. Expect that if you bring your vehicle for anything mechanical that you WILL be upsold on 10 other things your vehicle needs. Of the 7-8 times I've brough a vehicle in for an oil change, I've been told I need 5-6 other things done for another $800, $1000, or more. Every time. I refuse and then take it over to the original CincoAuto and none of those things are suggested. I trust those guys (who've actually talked me out of work before). I don't trust these guys at all. It has gotten to the point I don't even listen and will probably just stop even doing oil changes here as it seems clear it is about upselling to more work. 2. Car wash - it is never good. Trouble is there aren't any competitors nearby. Cannot wait for a competitor to pop up that can acutally wash a car even decent. 3. Slow - they can be really slow. I brought my vehicle in one Saturday and asked for some interior detail work (since their standard interior service is subpar). They told me they couldn't get to it for 6 hours. Ok, well I'll just pass on that overpriced detail work then. read more

Not sure what has happened with this car wash, but I have experienced poor performance over the past several months. Most recently I brought my car in for an interior detail and was talked into a vaccum only. I specifically told the employee not to run my car through the was as it had just come from the body shop with a full exterior detail. You guessed it they started to run it through and aborted only after spraying the front end. Needless to say I got home and realized I had to redo the windshield and front end of the car. They had wiped it down with a rag that was contaminated with a cleaner that took me more that 45 min to correct. Can't wait until the new car washed are completed on FM-1463. read more

I am a regular customer who pays monthly for two vehicles on their carwash plan. I have noticed that the service has gotten worse the past month. It seems that the people you first meet to get you checked in for your carwash are OUTSTANDING. these two guys and one young lady are very professional and are always willing to help. The issue is with the other team members at the other end who simply do not have their act together. You have one young lady waving her hair around and walking around aimlessly and two other guys just pointing and telling their skeleton crew which cars to wipe down instead of getting their own towels and helping out to get people in and out as quick as possible. Not only that when I get in my truck or car I always have to tell them to put in the correct air-freshener and wipe the dust off of the dash, then they look at you like you owe them a tip. I usually don't complain but the service is not worth the monthly $100.00 and has gotten worse! The management team has to get their act together and determine their staffing issues and make sure they do THEIR JOB! Just tired of paying for a carwash and then having to go out there and wipe down my own vehicle so I don't have to wait for my vehicle and then I see them talking and laughing!!!! I dropped my car off at cinco auto 2 at 3pm after calling them to ask if I could get an oil change, to which they said yes. I dropped off my car and left my contact info and said call me when it was ready and I'd pick it up. 2 hours went by and no word. 3 hours went by with no word so I called , no answer. After multiple phone attempts I walked up there and my car is nowhere to be seen and the building is closed. 4 employees were behind the building drinking beer and said my car locked inside but there didn't have a car. They never called , never told me that they wouldn't be able to get the work done and didn't give me access to my car on Sunday night with a work day looming. Completely horrible business and I hope all of you take your business elsewhere with me. read more

Do NOT take care your car here for auto repairs. Not trustworthy or reliable and I had one of the worst customer experiences with the General Manager, Kevin. Isn't the General Manager of any store supposed to value good service? Not this place!! I took my car in because I was having issues with the air conditioner not working properly. After a $200 diagnostic fee, they determined that I was in need of a new IDPM module. They quoted me over $1,000 for the part alone, plus an additional $265 fee for them to work on it. (after the $200 I had already spent to diagnose the issue). I did some research, called the dealership and they said the part was around $750 new. So when I went in to speak with the manager to ask if that was typical that they mark up that much % higher, he said he wasn't sure why the quote for the part was off and he went into the office to "research". He left me out there waiting in line, and I watched about 6 people go through the line and pay. For at least 3-4 people who were paying, I overheard them complain that the price on their ticket seemed off. Apparently, they said they asked for services that they did not receive. The attendant was honest and just said they overlooked getting the services done, and didn't charge but They were frustrated because they said their car was there for many hours and now would have to bring it back. After about 20 minutes of Kevin, "researching", he didn't come out and I just paid and decided to call back. The next morning I called him back and he told me he was really busy with a line of customers!! And said since it was Sunday, there was nothing he could do, which I understand but when I asked him what he was able to find out when he left me waiting the day prior, he said that by that time I went in, he could do much because the dealership was already closed. So why he had me wait, I'm not sure. He promised to call me back, and of course he didn't. I called the Cinco Auto 1 to complain, and talked to a really nice guy named Jim. He said that he would bring it to Kevin's attention and apologized and said he would have him call me back. Kevin, the "stand up" general manager, never did. Keep in mind I paid for $200 diagnostic fee and just wanted answers, and still needed my car fixed. I gave up and took it to the dealership. Turns out the guy at the dealership said in his 20 years working on My model car, he has never had to replace that part. Turns out it was something entirely different. I was SO thankful to not waste additional time and money at a place that does not have qualified people to work on auto repairs. I will also say that a few weeks prior to this issue happening, I took my car in there and they did an oil change and upsold my husband on something else, and they forgot to replace something correctly, so I heard this knocking in my engine the next day. We took it back and they apologized and said it was an overlook, but really?? I will never take my car back there obviously and I hope people research prior to taking here. And maybe Kevin will get a lesson in customer service. He needs to learn how to follow up with paying customers!! Do NOT let the convenience of their location fool you. Save your money and time and Take it to a place that knows what they are doing!! read more

First of all I didn't think it would get better than Cinco Auto on Cinco Ranch, however it does! Not only is the location bigger than the other one, this one offers food for the kids and a kids place to play while getting your oil changed, car wash, or car detail. I have received two oil changes, three car washes, and one detail here already. I have to say it's the best I have ever received and the price is great! I used to go to Mason which was farther because I thought it would be less expensive. It's not, Cinco Auto 2 is just as competitive and better on service and closer (saving me gas). I highly recommend coming here. You will be very happy you did! read more

Interior wash was decent but exterior lacked effort. My windshield still was dirty...how do you miss that...?

This place is out towards where I nanny and after a cross country move and some spilled chips- my car really needed some love. I went inside and got a menu to browse while I waited in the school pick up line and had decided on a #3! (Some interior work, works on the outside!) upon getting there and talking to be guy he talked in into the one a level above. I figured he was doing his best to up sell, and it really did need it, so I told him it should be SPOTLESS when I got it back. I was told to expect 45 minutes or so until it would be ready! It took a little longer than that but I was truly blown away with how SPOTLESS my car is. They got the little nooks and crannies that NOBODY notices. (Like the track on which my seat slides back and forth.) even the little girl I nanny was super impressed. The only negative was that the new car scent they used was a bit overwhelming. We rolled the windows down on the way home to escape it. Not necessarily their fault--- I picked it. (The guy even kind of suggested I go a different route). Next time I'll probably skip the scent. Overall for $50 I feel like the clean can't be beat! I'll be back. read more

Terrible, terrible, awful place to get your car washed. Absolute joke. Sure, the car goes through the car wash, but what happens after that is infuriating... They DO NOT CLEAN THE INTERIOR... They BARELY touch the tires - even though I bought the #3 PKG with Wax = $36.00! They DO NOT CLEAN THE INSIDE GLASS OR CONSOLE... I tried them with our two vehicles back in early July. It was awful. i ended up finishing the cleaning at home. I went back frustrated after the 2nd car and told JR THE OWNER/MANAGER, and he was good enough to give me TWO FREE #3's. Took our pickup in for a complete detail and high speed buffing wax. Wow did these folks do a great job!!! My neighbors thought we had a new truck! The paint look freshly sprayed. Very glossy and alimony looked wet! And the girls who was at the service desk was very helpful with answering my questions before and after I picked it up. Need some training on a proper car wash. Even the basic stuff is getting missed. They have had 3 chances with my truck. No more. And pricing is 40% to high. Ain't no Wash Tub that's for sure. They are definitely taking advantage of the area. And really need a floor/shift leader on the grounds checking the work. Windows, door jams, wheels. This was my first time getting a car washed here. I was in the Katy area visiting a client, had a little extra time, so I decided to get my car washed here. I was greeted by a black guy named Teddy, who seemed to be a nice guy at first, but then he tried to charge me for an extra item on my bill. When I inquired about what the extra line item on my bill was for (I had only requested a simple car wash and wax), Teddy's demeanor changed. He angrily told me he had other people to attend to (there was one other car behind me). Then he proceeded to berate me and after two minutes of him doing that, when I asked him to explain what I was buying from him, tell me I was really aggravating him. Needless to say, I found out later that he tried to double charge me for car wax. If I had not been careful, I would have gotten ripped off bad at this carwash. He got angry because he was trying to swindle me and make extra money. Unbeknown to me at the time, I just caught him in the act. I would advise everyone reading this to avoid this place like the plague. If you HAVE to go here for stuff, be extra careful. These guys are out to get you anyway they can. I went to Cinco Auto 2 this Sunday to get my car washed and they did a horrible job. They pulled my car out from the wash and it set for 10 minutes and nobody wipe the water off car. It had water spots and dirt on the bottom on the both sides. I had to wipe everything down once I got home. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY read more

Miguel and his team were wonderful. After coming back from vacation in the hot summer, my wife's battery died. While replacing it, we noticed her car wasn't cooling properly. He showed me where, sadly, the AC condenser went out. My wife's SUV is relatively new and for the past 6+ months, we've been having challenges with the car dealership to get this fixed while still under warranty. The dealership found all sorts of excuses not to repair it. Of course, after the warranty expired, the condenser went out, as Manuel pointed out. Instead of pushing to fix the condenser at CincoAuto2, Manuel suggested that we go back to the dealership and have them fix it vs. CincoAuto2 repairing it, given the history of issues and interaction with the dealership. We in fact did that and after seeing the history with the AC not cooling properly, the dealership finally did the right thing and replaced it at no charge. Manuel and his team could have easily made a quick $600+ repair that day, but instead took the time to listen to our issues and helped us resolve it. They could have sold us on the need to replace the condenser right then at their shop, but instead focused on continuing to build a long-term trusted relationship, something that will pay dividends for them in the long-run. We appreciate the honesty, the willingness to listen and the quality workmanship. read more

Another terrible wash & vac. Stuff was 1/2 wiped, puddle in the floor mats and cup holders. Not sure why I keep giving them another try. The supervisor was very put out when we tried to talk to him. My advice is to try another shop. read more

I became a "VIP member" at the car wash and have really given this place about 3 months of car washes before writing this review. It is really the worst place I've been a part of. The washes take 30-45 mins and are not even done right at the end. I tried complaining and that worked for one wash, then it was right back to the same crappy jobs that take 40 mins when no other cars are even here. I will discontinue my membership and not bring any more of my vehicles to this place. I gave this place a good shot, and the crappy service was consistent. read more
