Chicken Quesadilla with rice

Do not listen to the negative reviews i couldnt even find one negative thing to say. Ive been coming here since high school and all i can say is the food is amazing. Even if you dont dine in and order take out they give you a huge portion of chips and salsa. The service is always great even with just one worker serving. All im gonna say is if you get a chicken quesadilla you will be more than full and very happy!

Salsa ans chips

Very disappointed! I ordered Chicken Floutas, and I told the gentleman on the phone I wanted a Flouta plate, which online it said comes with rice, beans, and salad. Then I ordered a side of Salsa and chips. I was not charged for the salsa and chips, so I assumed it was complimentary. I still tipped. When I got home, I tried my salsa and chips, and it was okay, but the salsa was too sweet. I had never eaten a sweet salsa before, and I could not eat more than four chips because the sweetness was not enjoyable. When I looked into the bag, I saw my 4 Chicken floutas, but no rice, beans, or salad. I was disappointed! I now assume it wasn't ready, and they gave me the salsa and chips for free. I'm not sure, but now I know if I ever come back, I need to speak more therally about my orders. The chicken floutas tasted good on the outside, but the chicken was flavorless. So I do not recommend getting anything with chicken because it seems to be their standard chicken style.

Our large group came for dinner. The staff are so nice and helpful although the place can use a little updating. For apps we ordered the jalapeño poppers, potato skins and guacamole with chips. My fave were the potato skins because they were loaded with cheese. Nice gooey cheese. The poppers were good but seemed to me like they're frozen from Sam's. I still liked them tho. The guacamole was good and there was hardly anything left for the grown ups after the kids tore through it. I ordered the enchiladas verde. They were really good and spicy. I was surprised to get four enchiladas stuffed with chicken as a meal. Needless to say, plenty of food. It came with yellow rice and back beans which were delicious. Several people got the steak burritos and steak quesadillas--they were on point, I actually liked them better than my own dinner. It's a must have. My son said they were the best ever and he is not kidding. We ordered margaritas and they were on the weak side fyi. I'll take a star for that. Again the service is amazing. Super sweet people.

Nachos Ala Cilantro

An obligatory no-frills dinner stop whenever we're near Poughkeepsie! As always, the portions were huge, servers kept the chips and salsa flowing, and food was delicious! We had the nachos, chicken fajitas, and steak chimichanga and it was more than enough food for a hungry party of four. The steak is absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned and cooked and a must-try! We'll be back soon, and definitely stop by if you're in the area.

Chicken and steak soft tacos

My husband picked up food and it seemed very promising, but sadly I was very disappointed! The chicken in all the dishes we ordered (quesadillas, soft tacos, enchilada) was merely boiled with salt and completely bland. There was absolutely no seasoning and you can see the bland white chicken in the photos. For a Mexican restaurant, I was definitely expecting more flavor. The enchilada was covered in a specialty poblano sauce but it was a miss for us- it has a spicy kick but it was sweet with an odd flavor. The guacamole was another miss for me, because of the jelly consistency and lack of flavor -perhaps it's better when you dine in. The rice and beans were good! But I wouldn't try this place again sadly!

Sopa de elote y rajas. Sweet & spicy!

Storefront restaurant with authentic Mexican food! Pretty much like eating at a local restaurant in Mexico! Family owned and run, come for the good food, portions, and prices! Had the Mole Poblano enchiladas and they were excellent! Rice and beans was awesome as well! Nice to get whole beans rather than the usual refried beans paste! Both fishers were subtly sweet and spicy! Looking forward to going back!

The food has authentic Mexican flavors, and it's a hit each time. Try the Posole. It's a dish we first tried in Acapulco, Guerrero, and they do it well here.

I enjoy the atmosphere this restaurant has. We ordered as appetizer the grilled octopus. For-my main entree I'm having the lobster omelette. And of course my BloodyMary We received our grilled octopus. Unfortunately it was chewy. Our server took it away to make a fresh one. She was all apologetic. To us that was no big deal. So she brought another octopus. and again it was very chewy. We gave up on having octopus. But my lobster omelette was delicious. I don't hold it against them. Because I enjoy this restaurant. I will still give it a 5 star || This will be my review. My cohort's ended up on my page. Don't know how. It's an adult dining experience, the way dining out was in the old days. Cloth napkins, heavy dinnerware, soft music, and crystal clear glasses. The tables are not one on top of the other. There's a feeling of intimacy and to a degree romantic vibe. There's something for everyone on the menu, and the prices are reasonable. Our server Grazia is very gracious. The seafood risotto was the way I like it. Not too thick or too watery. It's still a 5 star to us. ||

As I drove by the plaza, I figured someone here had to have food. It came down to a deli or takeout, and deli always wins. I walked in and immediately knew I made the right call. Counters filled with breads, sweets, bagels, and fresh food, and the smells in the air matched exactly what was in front of me. That's always a good sign. There was a menu posted with plenty to choose from. I went with the Black Forest sandwich and also grabbed three giant linzer tart hearts and an apple crumb horn. Price-wise, it felt right for what I got, and I'm always happy to support a local spot. The Black Forest was exactly what I needed on a winter afternoon. I ordered it as a hero and could only finish half. It was stuffed with hot turkey and melted Muenster cheese, and the bread had a great crunch while still keeping a nice chew. The Thousand Island dressing and coleslaw made every bite satisfying. It was definitely a wet sandwich with sauce dripping, and honestly, I loved that. I was excited for every bite. The apple crumb horn was delicious and a must-grab if you're there. It's like an apple pie but lighter and airier, with sweet, slightly crisp apples throughout. 5/5 stars. I'll absolutely be back the next time I'm in the area.

We were able to get last minute reservations for prime dinner time at Fishkill Prime. Upon arrival we saw that they had decorated nicely for the occasion. We were given a choice of which dining room to be seated in. Sadly, I was on medication that I can't mix with liquor, so it was just a Diet Coke for me. They were offering complementary wine spritzers to all the mothers. We ordered the escargot and Brussels sprouts to start. The escargot was good, but the Brussels sprouts were the star of the show! My husband makes incredible Brussels sprouts at home, even he had to admit that these were far superior to his own. For our entrees I ordered the duck and it was amazing. My husband ordered the ribeye. He said it was very good but a little on the salty side. Our daughter ordered the sea bass and said it was very good.
