Haven't been here in a while and wanted a salad bar, so thought it would be worth a try. Forgot why we used to go and expected more than I should have. Not person who spoke with us was the one who rang us in. You bus your own table and drop it off at a station near the door. Good place to take kids and let them enjoy, but food isn't good and salad bar options were limited and odd. Quartered tomatoes and green olive slices but no cucumber? All sauces and dressings tasted watered down. Pasta looked dried out. The pizza was about what you should expect for kids. All a little undercooked and doughy. For about $10 each, I'd save the money and order pizza for pickup somewhere. Looks like they have added some arcade machines and are going for a little chucky cheese style place now. read more

Okay I first wanna explain that this 5 star is for the expectation of a pizza buffet.. with that being said, this particular pizza buffet was a very pleasant experience. Considering each adult is literally 10$ you can't hold your expectations too high, however, we were very impressed with the service at this location. Sure the quality of the food is standard for a CiCi but whoever is in charge has helped run this restaurant with well intent and taught the workers well. They kept the salad and pizza bar very well stock and most importantly clean! I noticed after every time a customer made a mess the workers without hesitation and without grumbling cleaned up the buffet and made it presentable. Plus the restaurant itself was well kept. Came here on Sunday afternoon and it was busy. It is self service. You get your own food and there are two plates and trash areas to put trash and plates away. Decent price for all you can eat pizzas, pasta and salad. There are quite a few selections of already made Pizzas. There are also a game room in the back which is a neat concept. You really need to cook your brownies longer. Me and my fellow chorus group came here after a very important competition. We were starving from the long competition day we had had head. We are ready to come inside and enjoy a nice meal and decided to get a brownie as a dessert not a single one of us had a fully cooked brownie and when each was bitten into it was raw like batter. I'm never picky about restaurant environments because of my history working in restaurants, but I got a weird vibe here like something was off. I went because my boyfriend (28y/o) had seen the commercials and wanted the Cici's experience. The employees were all sort of odd.... I'm not a shallow or judgemental person, but they weren't really the type of people I'd imagine working at a family restaurant. While they seemed kind of questionable, I noticed there was just one employee working the ovens who seemed like he really cared about his job. I think this place would be a great, easy option if you have kids, but it wasn't for me. There are a lot of arcade games and fun things for kids to do who want to stuff their little faces and also run around. The salad bar was fresh and honestly none of the food was. I can't truthfully say that anything was bad, but it wasn't great. The pizzas are paper thin, the pasta noodles were dry, the wings weren't included in the buffet (they had to be ordered), and the sodas were all watered down. As for the things I liked; the desert options were delicious! There were cinnamon rolls and apple pie dessert pizzas. I probably over-indulged, but I couldn't get enough. I also liked how all of the plates, cups, and silverware seemed really clean. This isn't usually the case with buffet restaurants, but I was impressed. The food tasted okay not the best not the worst, the pizzas were pretty thin with not much flavor, the bread sticks were alright, and the only best part of the food was probably the cinnamon rolls. As for the service, the cashier was nice, she looked like she actually cared about her job, as for the others they were blatantly ignorant. We walk into the store, we pay for an 8 people buffet, over $75 dollars, along with the buffet we ordered 2 medium veggie pizzas, the lady took the order and she said it would be ready in 10-15 minutes, then we forgot to tell her to make it well done so we told another lady, then she went to another lady and told her to make it well done and she said "okay I got it". After 20 minutes we went back up there and asked how long and she said few more minutes so we waited 25 minutes but still no pizzas. We went back up a third time and the lady acted like she didn't know about any pizza even though she told us a couple more minutes. Then we talked to the cashier lady who told the cook to cook the pizzas well done. In the end we payed 75 dollars for just breadsticks and cinnamon rolls and we had to leave after waiting for 45 minutes. So please put someone behind the counter who can remember and actually understand what I'm saying. I've been in the food business for about 25 years and this is not how service should work. Took the kids out for some pizza and games on a weekday evening. The buffets were stocked, the staff weren't rude or friendly, just kind of existed, and the restaurant was pretty clean. The pizza we had was all good and the pasta and sauce was hot. There were a few pizzas that were clearly old and sat on the buffet the entire time we we there and were still there when we left. The soda fountain was also a disaster but we just had waters so it wasn't a huge deal. The games were fun and all worked. They run on a game card now which is much better than the coin/token system. Overall, we will definitely come back for some cheap pizza, fun games and hopefully more diversity on the buffet. read more

Okay, so I wasnt prepared to give 5 stars. The food was good, not *great*, but come-again worthy. The wings were meh and took a LONG time - 24 minutes for ours. The food was hot, empties replaced quickly, and the buffet kept clean. The floor was clean and the tables clean. Took us 5 minutes to pay because noone was at the register. In all, fine experience. BUT THEN. As we were about to leave, someone comes out and says "you were missing a wing. You didnt notice. But I did. So here is your missing wing." No other place has done anything like that. We come here multiple times a month, because my youngest son has to get immunotherapy done near by.. so this is his special treat afterwards! The staff is great.. my son has food allergies. So as soon as we get there we put in a special order for a pizza with no toppings no cheese and no butter! They take the order without fuss and they make sure they are cautious while making it. It's so appreciated when restaurants are helpful in that area! It means a lot. The pizza is good. And we always enjoy all the different varieties of toppings! My personal favorite is the BBQ pizza! My guilty pleasure. Most people tend to consider Cici's the bottom of the barrel when it comes to pizza, but I'd have to disagree. I'd much rather eat this than any of the major pizza chains (i.e, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, Dominos). For $5.99 you get an all you can eat buffet that includes salad, pasta, garlic cheese bread, pizza, and dessert. This makes Cici's one of the best values around. How is the quality though? Well considering their macaroni pizza is one of my favorite pizzas in general, I'd say it's pretty decent. They usually have a limited time specialty pizza going on the buffet (New York style currently) and then their regular assortment of flavors that range from to traditional (pepperoni, supreme, etc) to specialties (buffalo, macaroni, stuffed crust, etc). If you're like me and pizza is your favorite food then you should be able to find something here that you'll enjoy. It makes for a cheap outing for the family and it even has an arcade area to keep the kids occupied while you eat. I'll also give a shout out to the staff at the Lindbergh location, they do a great job at keeping the buffet fresh and full. read more

I've came here two different times on my lunch breaks recently and both times they were fairly busier than I ever expected them to be. The food was pretty decent than I remember from a couple of years ago and you really can't complain for the price you're paying I think the buffet is $5.99, drink is $1.99. So you really can't beat that deal. They also have a app you can download where you can receive free drinks just by downloading the app and signing in with your Facebook account and they have a rewards thing where every five buffets you buy you get a free buffet. And I'm always a sucker for a loyalty program. So they offer a salad bar, pasta with either white or red sauce, they even have a soup, then they have some cheese garlic bread many pizzas to choose from and some dessert pizzas, plus brownies. You can always order any type of pizza you want and they'll bring it straight to your table and if you're by yourself they have little personal pan you can order and even that pizza is big I felt kind of guilty ordering that because I only wanted one or two slices from it and I hated throwing the rest of it away. Dirty, crowded, running out of pizza. Came at 530 on a Sunday and it was pretty busy. Floors were dirty place was crowded people all over the place. But this is what you expect when you come to a six dollar pizza buffet so it didn't bother me that much. I don't understand what all the complaining is about. You are only paying $5 for pizza! Who cares if it's a mess? What did you expect? It's $5 pizza! If this place didn't overload with you with food for next to nothing, I probably wouldn't rate it so high...but this has got to be one of the best deals in St. Louis. The unlimited pizza, salad and pasta buffet is always under $5. I mean, it's not exactly stellar pizza. It's really not that great of pasta or salad either. It's exactly what you would expect to get for $5 when you are on an all you can eat binge in a strip mall in south county. There's about 20 different types of pizza at this place, so even though it's not that delicious everyone will be able to at least find a type of pizza they like. Another drawback...it's always crawling with children. I mean, this place is packed with families with young kids.
