When this place first opened 2 or so years ago in the tiny white truck across the street, I would have given it 5 stars. Now it sucks. One time my dad ordered 2 grilled chickens but gave him one and a half yet charged him the full price of two. Another time my dad ordered barbacoa and they pretty much gave him an order of fat with barely no meat. About 2 weeks ago, I ordered a torta hawaiana by phone and picked it up on my way to work. I got to work, opened it, and saw a flimsy piece of bread with only a slice of ham, cheese, and pineapple on each side when just the week before I had ordered one with some many toppings that I couldn't even finish it! I called the place back and told them I wanted my money back. They told me that that's what the torta consisted of on the menu, but I have always gotten it with ham, cheese, pineapple, avocado, lettuce and tomato, etc...why they heck don't they not go by the menu and fool people?! I'm not sure why the bad reviews. This is a taco stand. I went and got 3 carnitas tacos. It was $4.50. I read someone say overpriced.?????? The carnitas are awesome. Moist, tender, lots of flavor. It is right by my house. Every time we drive by there is a line. Today at lunch there was a long line. The other night at 9:00pm there was a line. The food here is great. Great place, a little divey, great tacos, great snowcones and ice cream. The fajita tacos are on point, with what appears to be homemade flour tortillas, they are a decent price at 1.50 a taco. The lemonade was very good also and tasted authentic, not made from powder kind of stuff. Parking is a little limited but manageable. Customer service was great, and I saw they had a sign for .99¢ tacos on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I ordered via Door Dash today and the food was horrible. The fajita nachos were horrible quality for an authentic Mexican restaurant. It was cheap salty store bought chips with canned cheese that you would get at a high school football game and the fajita meat taste weird and had a weird smell. I also ordered a taco and they gave me fajita beef and it had the same weird spoiled taste. I ordered a barbacoa quesadilla and it was Unseasoned mushy beef and very little cheese. The food was horrible. I ended up throwing it in the trash as I could not eat any of it. I will never order from them again. read more

This is a decent place for tacos if you live nearby. Like most Mexican places, it's pretty cheap and definitely beats Taco Bell. While they do have a variety of choices, I would stick to tacos. If you're getting breakfast tacos, know that they're pretty small BUT the tortillas are homemade, which is a big plus. I can't stand a Mexican place that serves store bought, fake flour tortillas. The potato and egg is probably the best choice as: the bacon and egg has too many pieces of fat, the barbacoa doesn't smell fresh, the sausage and egg is really weenie (hot dog), the chorizo is over cooked. I have tried the gorditas and I find that they're too thick. I prefer a thin gordita where there's less dough and you can taste the meat and filling. The good thing is that they add cheese to the meat and you get lettuce, avocado and tomato with it. The sopes are also way too thick. I ended up just eating the meat and filling with a fork. Pass on the charro beans. They do not taste like charro beans and actually lack flavor in general and they were still hard. The desebrada meat was tough and very bland. I will say that the salsa is on point. There's 2 choices and they're both super spicy, the way salsa should be. I wouldn't drive out of the way to come here but if you live in the area and are craving fajita tacos, it's worth a try. read more

After trying this place 3x, I have to say that the third time was a charm. The first two times the chicken and fajita tacos were dry, and I was really disappointed. I decided to give this place one more chance and I'm glad I did! I had one beef taco and one fajita taco and they were awesome! The chef makes some bomb AF food. I be loving the hell out of the fries and nacho. I wish the quantities were smaller not all of us want to die of a heart attack or be unhealthily over weight. This would had been 5 stars if they didn't get our order wrong every time. First time we came here we order 6 tacos, but she rang us up for 8 and didn't understand we only wanted 6. Not complaining really since we wanted to try everything on the taco menu anyways. Our second visit is today and once again our order is messed up. I order one chicken taco and one fajita taco I got two chickens. I didn't realize it until I finish eating the first taco that my second taco was chicken too. Now before I get all these why didn't you check the tacos. I checked the first one to see if it's chicken cause I wanted to eat the chicken first and I order extra items on top of it. I also didn't like that she didn't speak Spanish to me (a Spanish speaking customer) but to the guy behind me who didn't speak Spanish. Ordered on uber eats. I ordered two tamales which were okay. I ordered fajita tacos with cilantro and I paid extra for avocado and what I got was just disappointing. The fajita smelled and tasted weird like it was spoiled. They also came with no cilantro and avocado. So I just paid extra for nothing. Also ordered nachos with fajita. Is a shame that I have to review this place badly. It used to be one of our favorite places way back in the day. I would take my family when they came to visit from Mexico and were craving good Mexican food. It really disappoints me that businesses get so greedy when they are doing well. This place is expanding very rapidly and we were very excited when they added their refresqueria. Unfortunately, now they added a restaurant type establishment and it all went to hell. We went to go eat there after school on a Friday. Apparently we are not allowed to substitute anything from the menu. If it comes a certain way, they will bring it that way. According to manager and waitress, is owners orders. The food is brought to you in paper to go plates. So wait a minute. I have to sit, order from a waitress and pay the waitress a tip but I get to eat my food from a to go closed plate and using plastic utensils???? Not quite a restaurant, I guess. It seems to me like they are trying to make more money without having to spend any money to do so. To each their own but what made me come and write the review is the fact that they charged me a debit card fee because I paid with my debit card. Nowhere in the menu or in the restaurant does it state that this is a cash only establishment. I wasn't aware of this. The waitress didn't inform us either. If I would of known that walking in this place and sitting down to eat would cost me more expensive than going to a really good restaurant, I would of never done it. I guess live and learn. I will never be back. Just FYI for the people that are going there. Bring cash or they will hit you with an extra fee for paying with a card. Yes without notice. My wife and I were some of Edwin' first customers when he worked out of his little trailer next to the liquor store on the other side of the street up a bit from were he's at today. We've always have been huge supporters of his from small, to were he's at today. For gringos, we know our Mexican street food very well, and he's got it. I've only had their tacos, but they were so good! I ordered about 12 to-go to for my family and I since it was national taco day. They gave us plenty of hot sauce and napkins. For the most part the food is always good with only a few exception of the rice which was hard a few times I ordered it on my tacos.. But all in all I do recommend them and will continue to do business with them. **The only recommendation I have for them is to have a line for orders made over the phone and another for those who are stoping in to order. It is saves time to order over the phone so you don't have to wait on your meal but when you get there to pick it up you have to wait in the long line that normal extends beyond the entrance and wait for 10or minutes just to pick up your order you called in 30min prior. read more

My husband and I decided to give this place a try after reading pretty good reviews online. It's a really cool layout with a patio and a ton of fans. We ordered 3 chorizo, 2 bacon and 1 potato. All on flour and all with cheese. I got a mineral water and it was like $11 all together so I was happy about that. The employees weren't really welcoming but I didn't expect outstanding service. I went there to get dinner and I ordered 6 tacos and a medium quesadia and I received a quesadia that was as small as a normal taco from.Jack in the Box. I went to ask them what happened to the size of quesadia they gave me. They said that it's the medium. I've ordered there before and this is not a medium quesadia. The young girl giving the food, just ignored me after that. I was left speaking to a window. When I got home I took my dinner that was wrapped in foil. When I opened them up I seen that the tacos shrunk to 2/3thrds of the size. And they charged me normal on a taco Wednesday special. ($1.99) I called when I seen that and the phone just rang and rang.
