My family and I visited here tonight. 1. The server was very accommodating is the only positive statement in this review 2. We waited over 50 minutes on a Tuesday night for our food to arrive and the restaurant wasn't full or busy. 3. When the food did arrive it was ice cold or had been sitting under the heat lamp for a long period of time. 4. My family and I bought the fajita kit for Cinco de Mayo and they didn't give us our meat. The kit is $60 and supposed to feed 4 people and the sizes of the stuff are nowhere near for 4 people. This restaurant is my guilty pleasure. I would eat here every other day if i could, especially when they get back to a full menu. EVERYTHING here is homemade. From the tortillas to the sauces, it is all made in house. I have never had anything on the menu that I did not like and I also think the prices are extremely reasonable for the sheer amount of food you get. My family loves the creamy jalapeno dip for our chips and my kids and wife straw fight over who gets the last chicken flauta when we get the appetizer platter. I love their enchiladas, especially with the hatch green chili sauce and their fajitas are the best anywhere. Recommended by several people to try Chuy's while in the Columbus area. Kitschy Tex Mex style decor, very colorful. Service was good and the place was pretty busy. Not surprising even during a pandemic. Coming from Michigan where all dine in is still on lockdown, this was a welcome surprise. Tables were spaced out and all waitstaff wore masks. The menu is a click away on your phone. If you don't have that option, they will give you a paper one. I ordered the "chuychanga" their version of the chimichanga. Roasted chicken, onions, cheese, green chilies deep fried in a crispy flour tortilla. Chuy's gives you several options for sauces. I ordered the boom boom sauce for mine. Boom boom sauce has a KICK! If you like spicy, you will love boom boom!! So good. Meal comes with beans and rice. Forgot to mention the salsa! More like a pico and was very fresh with the chips. DH ordered the steak burrito and smothered it in their queso. Both enjoyed our meals and had way to much to finish. Normally, Chuy's is very good but not today. I don't know what happened to them today. I had my usual Soft Tacos with Fajita Chicken but today it was subpar. The soft tortillas were dry & crumbly and my tacos fell apart after my first bite. To make matters worse, I had only 2-one inch long strips of chicken in each of my tacos; the tacos were mostly vegetables with not enough cheese on the plate to put on the tacos. Even the refried beans and Mexican rice were not that good today. My spouse had his usual mixed fajitas and he said that they were good but he didn't eat his tortillas that go with it. He normally doesn't eat the tortillas there because he doesn't like them. We normally eat here a lot and we'll be back, but they have to do better in the future than what they did today. read more

Salsa was TOO SPICY HOT as other reviewers noted. Party of 7 all agreed, "too spicy hot" We have eaten at other Chuy's locations in TX and never this hot! Also, we were at a table for 6 (was fine) except my chair was bumped twice: once by a waitress and once by a busser cart. Unacceptable, even for a "newly opened" restaurant. This was one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant in a long time. They weren't busy, service was terrible. First, we have been to other locations and liked the chain. The salsa they give out was too hot for everyone in the family. The server looked at my kids and said , "yeah it's really hot." Wouldn't table salsa be something for everyone? After being told we were unable to move two tables together to accommodate our party due to COVID-19 and social distancing... we watched people move a table closer to another table nearby so that they were able to sit in the sun. I brought it up to the staff and it went unrecognized, if this location is not going to enforce social distancing regulations then I see ZERO reason they should be open for business due to the pandemic. I typically don't complain when so many businesses are struggling. But this is my second disappointing experience with curbside pick up at this location. Last time, I was quoted a wait time--ended up waiting in the parking lot twice as long only to receive cold food. This evening, I was again quoted a wait time. (15-20 minutes) After 45 minutes, two txts and two calls, I ended up driving away. I don't mind waiting--I actually understand this is a difficult time for our restaurants and I want to be supportive--but please be realistic in quoting timeframes for food pick up. read more

Quite possibly the worst service I've ever experienced. Placed a curbside pickup order for a specific time. Arrived at the location and there were no less than 25 people outside waiting for their food. We called for our curbside order and no one picked up the phone. We didn't feel comfortable waiting outside with no social distancing rules in place. 30 minutes later, no one ever came out of the restaurant nor answered the phone. Absolutely atrocious. The Easton location is great but this Polaris location should fire the entire management team and start over from scratch. read more

Gave the Polaris location a try based on good recommendations. Man were we disappointed! My burrito was huge and gross. More burrito shell than filling. My wife's taco was mediocre at best. Our picky kid got a his favorite meal, a cheeseburger, and it was not edible. Tough, burnt, and greasy sums it up. They did the right thing and comp'd the cheeseburger. Even so we will not go back. I'm so sorry to report that we had the absolute worst service tonight. Waited 45 minutes for chicken fajita with a side salad and a chicken quesadilla that never came. Our server NEVER came to the table to provide an update or offer drinks. Never brought the side salad. Never refilled drinks or chips. Just abandoned us. We flagged down another server who sent the manager out who stated he was sorry and that they ran out of rice. Neither of us ordered rice as I record it with a side salad. He stated he would take care of everything and pick it up to go. He returned with the sizzling plate if fajitas, nothing else. When we stated we needed to go, he said he would pack it up. 10 minutes later as we got up to leave, he returned with a check and told us we owed $19.25 for two small margaritas. I cannot BELIEVE this is how your want your company represented, as I personally worked in the restaurant business for many years. Ate here for lunch and had the Chicken combo the food came out fast and was flavorful- love their shredded and grilled chicken. I hardly leave reviews, I'm literally the type of person that would rather lose money than start conflict because I get embarrassed and hate the feeling. I wanted to like chuy's.. I really did. The only good thing is that our server was great & very understanding. First we ordered traditional margaritas on the roots which tasted like straight sour mix. Not even a hint of tequila, so the server brought us a tiny extra bit of tequila to put in the margaritas to try to fix it (which was very nice and thoughtful of her) but the bar tender must have given her just about the most bottom shelf tequila you can use because it actually made the marg worse than it already was but again I don't like confrontation so I just drank it, knowing my $8 margarita was awful. My food come out shortly after which was a chicken enchilada and chicken chalupa combo. Let's just say..... The Taco Bell I've had is better than the food at chuys. So I came to the conclusion that I wouldn't recommend chuys and I won't ever go back. I'll stick to a more authentic Mexican restaurant but lesson learned ‍ read more
