Chuy's in Cedar Park was awesome and Rick the waiter was outstanding. Food was awesome too.

I am not always a fan of Mexican food, depends upon what it is. We have/had Chuy's in Phoenix, not sure we still do. The chips were plentiful however the salsa was HOT, HOTTER and HOTTEST. No middle ground. Wound up getting queso. They also have a jalapeno cream available, still hot. The queso was good though. I had a "skinny rita" that was good, a little heavy on the Tequila but tasty. I had the taco salad with beef. That thing was HUGE! Filled with lots of lettuce, tomato, ground beef, quac, cheese and their salsa vinaigrette was served on the side (excellent) and very tasty. They should bottle that stuff and sell it. Their home made tortillas they make in front of you. Had a nice flavor. The waitress was attentive and friendly. My daughter in law however noticed that one of the waitresses was playing with her hair that was hanging down while serving food. She pointed it out to the manager who admitted he just had an inspector who saw that too. Apparently he had not discussed this with her yet. Probably should. Luckily we did not have any extra "protein" in our food and it was okay. read more

Chuys is awesome! If you come during busy hours, be prepared to waits loooong time! The margaritas are always rotating flavors and are super yummy. If you're very unsure of what to order, get the boom boom enchiladas, they're the best! read more

Bad customer service! After Christmas shopping my family and I, a party of seven, decided to go to Chuys for dinner. We arrived shortly after 7 PM and were told it would be a 20 and no more than 30 minute wait for our table. While we waited we noticed the parking lot emptying out more and more around us and we're wondering why we weren't called yet. It had already been over 35 minutes and we hadn't heard anything. So my daughter-in-law went in to check to find out how long we were still going to have to wait. The hostess pointed to tables with a group of people still eating and drinking Margaritas and told us that they were waiting for them to become available because they're the only tables in the whole restaurant that could handle the size of our party. It was now 8 PM and the table still had their party going on and had ordered more drinks. So frustrated and hungry we decided to go ahead and leave and go to a different restaurant. While we were sitting down eating at another restaurant we finally got a text saying that the table was now available. I really wish they had been upfront with us from the beginning and let us know the circumstances for the reason for the wait instead of us sitting out there when we could have went ahead and gone somewhere else. With this kind of customer service I highly doubt we will ever be going to Chuy's again! read more

Food was great. Wait sucked and service stunk. We checked in on yelp and was told it would be no more than 15 min after the arrival time they give you. We waited 45 min. Got to our seat and there were open tables everywhere. Our waitress kept forgetting about us. I think we saw her 4 times the entire time we were there. read more

Been here twice with the kids. Great service, great food. Love coming to Chuy's! The value for your money is also much better than many restaurants. read more

I've never been compelled to write a Yelp before, but after 3 visits to this Chuys ordering To-Go, I feel as if I need to contact the Attorney General's office. They are charging for the exact food I order, but "accidentally" forget to include what's ordered in the bag. But they will give you a mountain of chips on top, beware. CHECK YOUR BAG BEFORE YOU TIP. read more

Have had several issues with pick-up. This last one, I waited 32 minutes for an order of fajitas for 2. Guy came out 3 times and a girl 1 time to tell me they were "working on the order." Really? 32 minutes for fajitas for a Tex-Mex place. And the guy was walking around with my charge card in his apron for the entire 32 minutes. Not cool. I even had to go in and ask to just get my card back so I could leave. Didn't even care about the food. They then brought it out and had the nerve to charge me for it. This was a night they were NOT crowded at all, which is unusual for them. That's pretty poor customer service. read more

This Chuy's is amazing!!! The staff was incredibly nice and our waiter was synched up to us because I never had to flag him down. The food was so good I made a Yelp account to tell everyone how good it was. I got the Baja shrimp tacos, which were not greasy and had an amazing sauce, and my husband got the 'big as your face' burrito which he also loved. I wish I could eat here for every meal. Keep it up and you'll have a regular customer! read more

I'd like to give this place a better rating because the servers are great, it's clean however the food is just okay and the bar drinks are EXTREMELY WATERED DOWN. I spent eight dollars for a glass of fruit punch. read more

What can you say about chuys? Always great service and awesome food. Every time. No surprise that it is constantly crowded. It is worth the wait. read more

When I want tex-mex I don't necessarily pick Chuy's - I prefer Serrano's. However, I do love Chuy's chili rellenos, their veggie enchiladas are the best, but my favorite thing is the green chili chicken stew - FULL OF FLAVOR - super filling - only criticism is I would prefer the veggies be cut a little smaller. And of course who can deny boom boom enchiladas aren't yummy!!! read more

Went with a few buddies and sat in the bar area at a table. We ordered a beer and waited for a menu. The waiter could barley speak, looked at her feet the entire time and you could not hear a word she said. After another beer we figured out why we didn't get menus from the table next to us. You cant get a menu if you sit at the tables in the bar, only apps, which there are about 4 to pick from. Not sure about the other items on the menu but if you are going for apps only, its not any different than taco bell. read more

My husband and I have eaten at this restaurant 10-20 times since it opened. When it opened we were excited. Unfortunately, every single time we have eaten here we have been consistently disappointed. First, they make you ask for the creamy jalapeno, which all the other restaurants in town automatically bring with the salsa and chips upon arrival, because after all, the creamy jalapeno is one of the main reasons people go to Chuy's...it's a signature item unique to them. The only apparent excuse for not offering this as a given service is cost savings to the owner...NOT the optimal experience for a typical Chuy's customer. Outside of the creamy jalapeno issue, which is a fairly minor problem, not once, not one single time in the 10-20 times we haven eaten at this location has our order been correct. Today, however took the cake. We were seated AFTER a group of some 15-20 people, by a considerable amount of time. When our server (who btw was working very hard and not the source of the problem) came to the table, we immediately placed our order (We are pros and know what we wanted) and 50 minutes later (after the large party was seated, ordered, and served their food) we got our food. During this time, we watched the floor manager walking around, checking on everyone BUT us. We patiently waited while every single person who was seated after us was served, munching away on our chips and salsa (which tasted different and even looked different today). When our order finally arrived...it was of course wrong: refried beans instead of charro, no sour cream, regular rice instead of green rice. Completely defeated and way over our time limit for eating out today, we politely asked for to go boxes, boxed up the food that we did not order and took it home so we could eat for diner tonight...cold. We will never eat here again. When people ask us for recommendations, we will direct them to downtown, Lamar, or 183 & Research. Whoever opened this location needs to keep a better eye on ticket times, put the customer first, employee cost saving measures that are operational and that don't impact the customers' experiences, and offer more consistency to the other locations (like a franchise is supposed to do). The goal... should be to get us in and out in 30-45 minutes WITH the correct order and a flawless customer experience. It is a sad day when even the Waco location offers better service (not something Waco is know for!). This location needs a lot of work and we will not be going back or recommending to anyone else. read more

Love Chuy's Round Rock & Arboretum NOT CEDAR PARK !. They poor expensive small drinks . The menu is missing Pork items and Green chilie stew . The staff is over run not experience . Are 4th time was it , no sevice for 40 min ? read more

The food was good and we all had a lovely time. However and unfortunately, a few days after eating here, the card I paid with was CLONNED and used at a major retailer! It was the only place that particular card was used at where it left my hands in months so it definitely happened here. I was wondering where our server went with my card because she had it for too long. :/ Use cash if you insist on eating at this location. read more

Stopped at Chuy's for dinner before heading back to San Antonio. What started out seeming like our waitress was going to great turned into a disaster!! Rebecca was our waitress and it appeared that she was in a alter state of mind. It was a busy Sunday evening but we repeatedly had to ask for items and eventually just gave up. Service was slow and food was still warm but looked as if it had been sitting under the lamps for a while. I expected more out of Chuy's. Honestly I'm surprised that the managers haven't paid attention to how Rebecca is acting..She was definitely on something!!! Disappointed and if we lived closeby, would never return again! read more

Same'ol 45 minute wait at 5:00 for commodity Mexican food. I don't understand why I put myself through this pain. Dos Salsa and Serrano's Next time and every time after that. #feelingstupid read more

Poor, poor, poor hosting skills tonight, 7/22/18. We arrived before the diner crowd tonight for a reason. 545 arrival, 2-3 small groups in front of us. We have 8, we expect a wait. We we're told 30 minutes, sounds reasonable. So we wait no big deal, we watch as multiple groups of 3, 4, 5 get seated. Okay no problem, bar is dead, outside is dead, multiple groups leave......we're still waiting....an hour and 15 minutes later we finally get seated....as a group of 15 get seated simultaneously gets sat at the same exact time, and they arrived 20 mins before they were seated. All I can say is, extremely disappointed & will make sure to let the manager know that the hosting group need to be be retrained. read more

Rude Manager! Been coming for two months and would eat at the tables located at the bar. Now they don't serve meals if you are sitting there. Manager was rude and did not care. The rude manager was just like oh well. So much for customer service. read more

This location is specifically awesome! Everything is always fresh and fast service. Great, chill atmosphere and friendly servers!

Awlful...heavy beans and rice,.drinks were weak as hell...this place really sucks....never again

Service is so-so and the food isn't quite as good as the other locations. Hopefully things will improve with time.

I love Chuy's! This location has sometimes not impressed me with the food prep. Sometimes things are a bit dry and overcooked or the portions were just inconsistent to a previous visit. The service has always been okay, I guess. Sometimes I get charged for things I don't on other visits like extra sauces. That's annoying. read more

Came in a week ago and sat on the patio. Art was our server and he was fantastic! We will be back!

Have been to several Chuy's locations and had good food. Wait time today was 50 minutes and food was cold and bland. Service was fair. I know this is a new location and has been extremely busy since it has opened but there is much better Mexican Food in Cedar Park. read more

First the positives about Chuy's in general: generous nacho bar during Happy Hour, decent queso and very good jalapeno ranch. But I cannot recommend actually ordering food here. We tried again the other night - ordering cheese enchiladas with chili con carne sauce and veggie enchiladas with ranchero sauce. Both sauces seemed to be the same heavy mix of way too much chili powder and spice, with ground beef added to the chili con carne. Everybody scraped as much of the sauce off as they could. Most of it was left on the plate, and we did not request any to go boxes. I can't complain too much about my Thursday night special street tacos, but I would argue that Taco Cabana does them better. The service at the Cedar Park location is fine. We didn't have to wait too long for food to arrive. It wasn't exactly "service with a smile"; I wouldn't say anyone looked very happy to be working there. The decor and vibe of Chuy's have carried it for a long time, but they do seem to have just given up on their food. read more

This place is great! we come here a few times a week, food is fantastic and my kids love it too! the manager Eric is absolutely great! we had a minor issue with getting drinks and he was very attentive and apologetic to the situation Our waiter Becca was amazing also and with my kids. Definately reccomend this place to everyone, so glad they put one in cedar park.. read more

Great food, wait sucks! Get there early and expect 45+ minute wait but it's worth it!! Creamy Jalapeño sauce is amazing!!

We arrived around 8:30 Wednesday and waited no more than 15 minutes. Our wait person, Fiona, brought out our tea without our requested limes and butter. We had to ask her for the limes and butter. She returned with the limes but no butter. Forgot to mention she dropped the bowl of limes right as she arrived table side. We ate our chips and salsa without butter. Our Fajitas arrived by a different person with extra tortillias as requested. I asked him if we could please get some butter. I asked him if they were out of butter because we had requested butter 4 times and still have none. Finally the butter arrived, too late for chips. We ate, she checked on us and then came by asking if we would like to go boxes, with to go chips and flour tortillias. Then she brought the ticket. We had to request dessert, soppapillos. She took ck back and then we waited. After a long wait, they arrived with no plates or silverware. After another wait, the plates came and then after another wait, the silverware arrived.. the food was great, beef fajitas tender and flavorful and the chicken were smokey and juicy. The in house, hand rolled flour tortillas are better than any in the area. Fajitas combo for 2 was about what you pay for single Fajitas at Lupes. Chuyes, get your wait staff trained with more shadowing with experienced waiters. Love the 50's decor. read more

Been wishing and waiting for Chuy's in Cedar Park for years and it's finally here. We've been probably 6-7 times in these first months since they opened and it's wonderful to have them in town. We've been very please with the food and service each time we've visited. read more

I'm even more convinced now that the only good thing about Chuy's is the creamy jalapeño ranch. I went for lunch today and surprisingly it's still crowded. I don't think people around here know what good food is. I honestly wanted to go just because of the creamy jalapeño and it has been about 4 years since my last visit to Chuy's. We only had to wait about 10 minutes which was fine but after being seated our server didn't come to our table for at least 5 minutes. He apologized, for the first of many times this visit. The wait time for the food wasn't bad, although I was bummed they don't have a lunch menu, thought that was weird. Our server barely came around, I know it's been busy there but I saw the server with the tables opposite us way more than I saw my own. I never received a refill on my soda and after asking for a box and container for my queso it took at least 10 minutes for him to come back with the box and check...no queso container...meanwhile I saw him at 2 other tables and the other server bring to go boxes for her table when they asked for theirs after I did. Not sure what this dudes deal was and he was nice and all but he should probably work on his skills. I was obviously not going to leave perfectly okay queso because I never received a container so now I have a nice dish as a memento from Chuy's because I'm good..I don't need to go back ever probably. Unless it's for drinks and creamy jalapeño! read more

Chuy's is good. Not great but good. We want to really like Chuy's but it fits into just a OK dining experience. Nothing spectacular but will say all the help seems to work hard on serving the customers. Everyone seems to hustle to keep the food and customers moving. We will be back when in Cedar Park. read more

Came tonight with high expectations. Sat at the bar because you guys are always packed. Ordered a round of drinks for two, no problem. Half the bar cleared out after happy hour and we were ready to order food and another round. Miss Ainsley at the bar basically ignored me as I literally made every signal that I was ready to order. She saw me and acknowledged me with a nod, but continued to take care of everyone else. I'm pretty cool about stuff like this, but geez, at least say, I'll be right with you or something! Nope, nothing. She needs to pay less attention to her goofing around with her bartender co-worker and more attention to her customers. Lost a solid half a hundy meal and drinks and two customers tonight. Solidly sucked! read more

Okay, so I love the Chuy's on 35, but I was soooo happy when they opened one in Cedar Park. We finally went to dinner tonight at the new location with 9 adults, a toddler and a baby. I kid you not... this was the BEST service I've ever gotten, anywhere, and that's saying a lot because we eat out a ton. Our server, Ryan, was super fast, and we never had to ask for refills on our chips, salsa, ranch or drinks because he anticipated our needs and brought out refills before we ever ran out. Everyone's food was amazing (but Chuy's is the best Tex-mex so that's to be expected) and since it was my 3-year-old's birthday, they even brought her complimentary sopapillas and she didn't even have her own paid meal. All of the servers were super smiley and friendly, thanked us all for coming, and seriously just made this one of the best dining out experiences we've had lately (especially with a wild and crazy toddler). We will be back soon! read more

Lean in close and listen up, best jalapeno ranch this side of colorado.

My husband and I had never been to Chuy's, but had always wanted to try it. We were in the area and decided to give this place a try. They were pretty busy, which was understandable because it was a Sunday night. We were told 25 minutes on the wait, but it didn't take that long. Our server was awesome. He was really helpful and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. He even recommended a margarita to try (I never had a margarita before). Our food was fairly fast and really delicious. He prices were very reasonable and we left feeling satisfied. We will definitely visit the Cedar Park location again! read more

We brought are family from out of town there last night and it was near closing time and we were a bigger party . The service was terrible from the start it took ten minutes for us to get our drinks then he forgot two peoples .The food was really spicy for everyone and I got the veggie enchiladas and I could eat them they were to just two spicy and our server Jason was coming around to spilt checks and he asked if I needed a box because I didn't take one bite and I said no I did like it and he said okay then got our checks . I paid for it even though it was gross and I didn't eat it . He didn't even ask if I wanted something else or anything.I was just blown away on how bad this service was and no one liked there food . All the staff members were more than happy to clean and get the restaurant ready for closing instead of focusing on customer service especially since we were the last table there . We won't return to Chuy's or recommend anyone to that place . read more

First and second visits very good, but today, our waiter was less than what we'd had there. When we said some food was not good, the manager came over and mentioned that waiter was " one of their best!" We said nothing. The waiter even brought our check w/o asking if we wanted dessert! When we ordered dessert, he acted ticked off to have to make another ticket! They need to be trained on that to make more money!! read more

Such great food, wonderful service and amazing drinks at the bar! I highly recommend stopping in here on your way in or out of Austin.
