They really don't make em like this in the States. Absolutely delicious burgers here! My favorite thing to get is the spicy Tex Supreme chicken sandwich. It comes out piping hot, with fresh lettuce and tomato. The chicken is crunchy and has a very spicy kick! Which is my favorite part. It's juicy and seasoned to perfection. I also love getting the chicken here. I love the seasoning for the chicken and the crispiness of the skin. The chicken meat itself is super juicy and always delicious! Ordered late night dinner on Skip after a nightmare evening at the airport. 1 AM is not my usual dinner time Seems like maybe we got some leftover chicken pieces. They also added some wings which were not expected. The Mexican sandwich was actually good as was the mashed potato and gravy. However the chicken combo was not good. It tasted like the oil it was cooked in. Based on this I would never have Church's Chicken again. Also, who sends mashed potatoes and gravy to a hotel client with no utensils and no napkins? Then you have the nerve to write on the only napkin that you'd like a good review. read more

never made a review but had to after the service today... before this store used to be great the service was meh but the food was good. Today thought was a whole different story. The family's order usually would equal to $40 but today they tried gouging us for 20$ more than usual, we explained which combos we wanted but they decided to try and charge each item in the combos separately. once that was sorted the food is just not the same there anymore. The chicken was dry, almost stale and too much breading. Not to even mention they forgot the biscuits for the combo's at this point any other fried chicken shop is better than here and probably wont order from here again since theres alot of other good options nearby read more

I am giving 4 stars (really want to be 3.5) for this and all the past times I have ordered chicken from this location. The chicken has been pretty good and the service is just meh...but I don't have high expectations going into a drive through...as long as they get my order right and courteous. I was talking to my friend into he phone and told him that I was at Churches drive through and he let me know that the location he goes to in Vancouver you can get 8 piece dark, medium fries and gravy for the same price as 8 piece dark alone. I didn't believe him as there were no signs...so I asked and low and behold...the guy at the window said yes..but kind of reacted like it was too secret. Score...good value and my daughter would be happy that I came home with fries, and bonus GRAVY! The chicken was good, skin was super crunchy, flavorful and golden. Got to the meat and I realized why the skin was so crunchy, they overcooked it a bit and kind of resembled dry white meat chicken...still ate it as it was tasty. The fries on the other hand, were nicely deep fried, some crunch, and the gravy...well..it's gravy. I find that this location could be hit or miss, but in general I still prefer Churches to KFC, LA Chicken and all those new fancy places. Call me old school. read more

Church's chicken is great. The texture of their batter is nice and flaky, better than their main competitor. The burgers/sandwiches aren't too spectacular, so stick to the actual chicken pieces. If you are pulling in directly off Cambie St, be aware that the curb cut doesn't line up directly with the driveway into the strip mall. If you aren't careful it's easy to drive into the curb and ruin your tires/rims/suspension. read more

This has got to be the worst Churches chicken location i have ever been to .They have screwed up my order so many times I will never order from them again. This was the last time...they got my order wrong then tried to argue with me about there mistake .on top of it they said they would just give me a credit instead of a refund. Church's Chicken over KFC any day! I'm actually not eating meat anymore but when I did, this would be my family go to if they were craving fried chicken. I knew my family was lazy to cook dinner when I saw Church's on the counter. But hey, I never complained. Their batter is crispy, flavourful and they definitely don't skimp out on portions. We'd normally two boxes: one spicy, one regular and a family order of French fries + gravy. I personally loved the spicy chicken better, just because it added a little bit of flavour to the chicken. To be clear, it was just the batter/skin which was spicy. When you got down to the meat it was "regular-flavoured". They also have chicken sandwiches. Might I suggest the spicy crispy chicken sandwich. It kind of reminds me of an upgraded version of a McDonald's Junior Chicken. Yeah, it was good. Add a little bit of sriracha in there for the extra kick, now we're talking. I've never actually eaten in store - so this review is strictly for all the to-go orders I've had over the years. Churches chicken has always been my fast food in Canada, however this time I encountered some partly raw chicken. The chicken was definitely raw, and the first time I showed the chicken to the cashier named Kris and he agreed it was raw and exchanged it for me. Then the second chicken happened to also be partly raw. I went to the counter to see the manager named Sajayna and he keep on insisting all chickens are cooked the same and that the chicken is not raw. I even asked the other customers and they even agreed the chicken was raw, but Sajayna keep on insisting it is not and would not refund me. He then asked Kris if the previous chicken was raw and Kris told him no. He clearly told me he agree it was raw and now he tells his manager it is not raw. I took back the raw chicken and will send it to Churches head quarters. They can tell me if it's raw or not. read more

My boyfriend and I were so excited when we found out a Church's Chicken had opened nearby his house. We decided to grab take out one night through the drive thru. Upon making our order, it seemed as though the lady on the other end could not hear what we were saying nor could we really make out what she was trying to say to us either. She was very slow to reply and seemed a little confused. In the end we gave up and just drove forward to the window to speak with her instead. We attempted to order 6 pieces and specifically asked for 3 thighs and 3 legs with 1 leg being spicy and the rest regular. As we waited for our order she offered us a small cup of ice tea as the order was taking a little longer than usual. When we got home, we opened the box and found out that we only had 5 pieces so my boyfriend drove back to tell them. They apologized and gave us 3 more legs. When he came home, we started eating the 3 legs and realized the 5 pieces we have received were all spicy chicken breast and not the regular thighs we had ordered. My boyfriend was FURIOUS and drove back there AGAIN. The person at the drive thru apologized again and ended up giving us a brand new order of 4 legs and 5 thighs. Pros: - Refreshments while we waited in drive thru - Got more chicken than we originally ordered - Delicious Church's Chicken like every food chain - 24 Hours Cons: - My boyfriend drove back and forth approx 15 minutes and waited in drive thru to exchange chicken when we were all starving. First time trying Church's chicken since moving to Canada.Even I'm surprised that I'm giving this place 4 stars. How can I not? Their chicken came out piping hot. Only one sign - it's fresh. My friend and I have been twice for lunch since this location opened and have been impressed both times. I don't think I have ever had such friendly service at a fast food restaurant. Everyone who works up front is really friendly! The food was fresh both times and tasted great. We even got free samples after asking about a menu item, and when we were eating the manager came over with little cups of delicious ice cream to sample. Well, I mainly just like the Spicy Thigh Sandwich from Church's Chicken, and this is one of the places that make them well. There was once where they gave me one sandwich instead of two but it's only happened once so far. I wish they didn't require a key for the restroom since it's unsanitary. read more

Had the tex wrap, i expect white meat in a wrap, but this one came with some gross fatty and veiny dark meat pieces. I couldn't even eat it. Wont be getting that again. Unfortunate cuz service was good. read more
