Anyway, don't know why I haven't seen this turn over coffee crisp advertised except the drive thru menu list. If you like apple turn overs and coffee crisp, you will definitely love this deliciously sweet delight. Located in the airport district of the city. Service is good and seating is plentiful. I am addicted to their onion rings-- I can't seem to come near this location without ordering a plate of them! They are located in a large strip mall with lots of parking and the drive-thru is wide and easy to pull in and out of. read more

The last few times we've visited the Bridgeport Rd location by the drive through they got the orders wrong, even after correcting them, and once even overcharged us. The staff needs to learn basic communication skills. Until such time I'll visit other locations. read more

I am very disappointed. I mean I love going to a&w and al but the experience I had just now is kind of sad. I bought a mozza burger onion ring a and root beer float. But when I got my order I got my root beer float on a take out cup. And my onion rings on a to go bag. I mean I don't even mind the onion rings but I saw the family who got their order 10-25 minutes earlier all their drinks are on a chilled mug. I'm disappointed because I chose to eat inside the store so I can have my root beer float on a very cold mug . But my root beer float isn't even that cold! Local A&W in the area and relatively busy for this location as locals go here for breakfast. Service was off and slow...had to ask for the plastic fork, knife, jam, syrup for pancake as it was not given. Food was hot and made on the spot which was good. Eggs being over easy cooked perfect. One of the best things about A&W is the frosty real mug to have a root beer or coke float in. Unfortunately, when I visited, their dishwasher was under repair and they only had the regular paper cups :( A&W became my favourite fast food chain with their Twin Baby Burgers. They were actual sirloin patties, and I was amazed that they actually had vegetables in them!! Just diced purple onions, but still. Sadly, when I went at the end of March 2010, they were gone :( I still think they have the best onion rings of the fast food chains. read more

A&W is one of my favourite fast food restaurants. I love their burgers, their root beer, and especially their onion rings. A&W does tend to be on the pricey side for fast food, but they do often offer deals and they use quality ingredients. The beef used in their patties is raised without the use of hormones or steroids, the chickens are raised without the use of antibiotics (the use of steroids and other hormones in chickens has been banned in Canada since the 1960's), and the eggs are from hens that are not fed animal by-products. It's also in the details. A&W doesn't water down your drink with ice. If you eat in, breakfast is served on ceramic plates and metal cutlery, fries and onion rings are served in reusable baskets, and pop is served in frosty mugs. Take-out orders are served in compostable paper. That all being said, not all A&W restaurants are equal. I particularly like this location because it's clean and the service has been good at each one of my visits. Tip: A&W coupons can often be found in flyers and local newspapers. When the coupon says that your meal comes with a large soda served in an A&W mug...note to self that you cannot keep it :( I only come here when I get a coupon in the meal for $10 for 2 to dine. I came here for a work lunch and I ordered a Teen Burger Combo with Onion Rings. One of the things I like about a dine in experience at A&W is that you get a nice frosted mug to hold your soda. This is a much better practice than adding ice to a drink because that tends to dilute the taste. The burger here tasted here was quite dry. The iceberg lettuce was probably the moistest part of the experience because the patty looked crumpled up and was quite dull in colour. The best part of this meal would be the onion rings. These were not as oily as I have found at Red Robin's or White Spot so I think for a fast food restaurant the rings were really enjoyable. If you're looking for a small snack and are in need of opioids and fatty foods, the onion rings are worth taking a look at here.
