Entire staff spoke only in Punjabi to each other, both front counter and in kitchen arguing. At counter, 3x's a worker disrupted our ordering, speaking non-English. Our wait in completing our order was long as was the 20 min. for food. -Ordered as "Dine-in", came in BROWN BAG. We went to table, transferred to tray ourselves. - Instructed no ketchup, just 2 Mayo. In bag 4 pks. ketchup, NO Mayo. Went to counter, was told "additional charge"...for Mayo!!!??? What? - Box with onion rings was near empty, 4 broken rings and 1 tiny 1" ring. This for $4? We arrived late to our hotel and this Burger King happened to be close by and was open 24 hours. So I walked there and the dining room was closed. The drive through was only open. Well since I walked there, I didn't have a car. I stood around the speaker ate and no one answered. I looked through the windows and it appeared that there was only one person working in there. I waited for a few more minutes and left and walked to Subway next door. I went to Burger King the next day and they were doing construction on the roof. The noise was so loud and annoying. Then when the work stopped, there was still noise of an alarm beeping. I ordered a whopper meal. My kid got 8 pieces of chicken nuggets. He loved them. Ate them all and some of my fries. My burger tasted good. The fries were a little cool and hard, not fresh. When I got back to the hotel, I went to the toilet because I got the runs. It's been I don't know six months to a year since I've been there, but I went last night. They seem to be improving a lot last time I went but this time it was bad. The french fries were OK. They gave me four packs of ketchup that's all right. But the burger had an odd smell to it and the Coke zero was salty and had no syrup in it. They had to have known. One-line review: Okay for fast food. We came for the BK Big Fish (no longer available in the States, so we were surprised to find it here). It was... not as big as we remembered. We asked if they would fry our fish a bit longer to make it extra crispy, and they declined; but they did add lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle per our request. My wife said the fries were not very good; my onion rings were fine, not great. On the whole, it was a fairly average BK experience. Might have been happier with a Whopper. They had a number of specials running: 2 bigger sandwiches (Whopper, BK Big Fish, or their chicken sandwich) for $7, 10 piece chicken nugget for $2.99, so that seems a decent value if you are set on fast food. Service was adequate, not memorable. Parking was free in their lot. Bottom line: Don't think we'll be back anytime soon. read more

Pretty much everyone knows what Burger King is about, so I won't go into too much detail for this review. Whenever my buddies and I have late-nite munchies, BK often comes to mind. You can't go wrong getting a $2 King Deal sandwich, or $5 (taxes in) for the King Deal meal. While I haven't tried all of them, you definitely can't go wrong with Whopper Wednesday. A couple of things to note about this location. 1) It's 24h. Yes, there are alternatives to No.9 and Denny's at 4am on a Monday. 2) It's located conveniently close to a Starbucks which means you can leech free wi-fi! You do have to sit near the western windows though. The staff are quite friendly, and have yet to screw up an order. My only irk with this place is that one time we came in at 2355, and couldn't order the next day's special without waiting 5 minutes. But maybe it's company policy so I'm not going to hold it against them. The location is clean, and the food is tasty. What more can I say? read more

This morning, when I asked where the recycling bins are for our empty plastic orange juice bottle, the clerk replied "oh, we just throw them in the garbage". Didn't think I would get a chance to come in here, but since one of the youths wanted a burger, and there were coupons in the car, I had to think where was a BK in Richmond, gladly I remembered this one. Came in on a Sunday afternoon around 1PM and it was pretty quiet in here. It's a pretty standard BK, not as new as the one in downtown, but it is comfortable and clean, what more can you ask for from a fast food burger joint? If you are not feeling for the golden arches, and need the crown, there aren't many around anymore... and if you are in the heart of Richmond.. this is the one for you. Amazingly the BK still has the snaky line section for when it gets busy, didn't see it in use here... something that all the old BK's had. The person taking our orders was quite helpful, as she didn't even question the black and white coupons we had printed out from my work printer. We ended up ordering a few of their signature burgers (for those who don't know... it's a Whopper!) and after we made payment, found a seat and waited. The food is not laying under any heat lamp drying up over time, these are made fresh to order..... as fresh as fast food is going to be. While we waited I noticed that this place has a few good round tables, not just booths your use to sitting at in these places. There is one tv, that was apparently playing some mundane soap opera program when we were here. Also they have free wi-fi, and are open for 24 hours.... so it's a good hang out joint.. probably a good place to study late in the nights... as I would think this place would be quieter than Tim Hortons. When the burgers were finally made, and we brought them back to the table, they were all nicely presented in their boxes. Once opening the boxes, and surprisingly enough some of the boxes were actually tricky to open, you saw a nicely semi-wrapped burger, easy to pick up, and to keep the burger all in one piece. Wrapped halfway, nothing is falling apart... these people know what messes can occur, and the only time I have seen burgers wrapped like this are at the PNE... so bravo on handling of your food... full props. I still see they market Whopper Wednesdays.. so if you need a cheap meal on Hump Day, remember the crown... they have other under $2 items as well.. for the cheap in you! read more

Another story of a father trying to catch up with his son on the weekly events over a Saturday morning coffee and breakfast sandwich. Both of us like the croissant sandwich with the egg and ham. Both of us think the potato nugget stuff is way too greasy. Fried food is bad. bad bad. so we don't eat those. Seems like all of Richmond's BK nicer than Vancouver, no surprise there. Also in the new strip with Starbucks & General Paint. Like the square layout, spacious seating. The only BK in Richmond;so I came to this location for breakfast. I had a coupon for 2x croissantwich + hashbrowns and a small coffee. The only thing good was the coffee. The croissantwich which I had high hopes weren't good. It was cold and not flakey. Can barely tell it's a croissant. The sausage version is better than the bacon version. I was very surprised. The hashbrowns were ok but the heinz ketchup saved them. Service was major slow and there was only one girl working at the front and since almost everyone's ordering the same thing, she seemed as confused as us who's order's next. I was getting a couple sundae's there with friends. We were going to marble slab but it was very expensive, the inside of the store was hot, and the worker was slow so we decided to go to Burger King as we agreed it was bettr than McDonalds. I am quite indecisive and was choosing between the Skor and brownie sundae. I asked if they could combine both and they said no problem if you add 25cents more for extra sauce and that was great! They gave me plently of skor with brownies in my sundae as well as caramel and fudge sauce. The staff there was very friendly and nice. My friends got a strawberry sundae and a M&M sundae and it all seemed great. Later, I noticed the survey on the back of the receipt for a free burger with the purchase of fries + drink at regular price and I got a meal for basically $4 which isn't bad for 2013. Why I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is that the kid's place there is absolutely disgusting. There was sticky stuff on the floors and seats and most of the games there were broken. If I can give a negative review i would. This management gave a bad name for burger King franchise. My family went here to grab some food before we head back to the US. I ordered $15 worth of food. I gave them US currency and they said they don't convert to Canadian currency So I decided to paid with my credit card. They screwed up my order and when I asked them to fix it and they refused. Worst experience ever. My girlfriend and i had been on flights all day, and stopped in for a late dinner. After we ordered, the cashier repeated everything back to us. No problem. When the food came, one item was missing. I pointed this out, and the cashier told me he didnt charge me for it. Second time around something tasted off and next thing I know there goes the food I just ate. What I thought was a veggie burger didn't seem very "vegetarian" at all (Or so they told me as they wouldn't refund me my money for this shitty meal) . Hubby was out doing errands when on TV there was an ad for $1.79 nuggets. Phoned Hubby to pick some up on his way...hmmm...advertising works! He gets home and there's NO SAUCE! Gives me this long story about the guy at the window wouldnt give him any sauce, they dont have any so gave him a wee packet of mayonaise! He then tells me they were over $5 each. No way, I just saw the ad in the TV so I see the receipt and since he is right, phone the store. They are apologetic and tell em it has been written up in the book for the manager and to come in the next day, between 7am-3pm. Today went back at 2:30pm with my receipt to see the manager, Komal. I introduced myself politely and said she was likely expecting me. "No", she hadnt read her message book yet! Strange considering she only now had 30 minutes left on her shift. Anyway, Komal takes my receipt and returns with $7 and change. I told her it wasnt enough since the nuggets were over $5 each. "Oh no, I am only authorized to refund the difference". Really? Nothing for the inconvenience? How many other people were charged $5 instead of $2, I asked her. "Noone" she replied. Absolutely noone? "No, noone. You are the only one" Woohoo for me...NOT OK. So by that theory, everyone else in line was charged $1.79 different buttons were punched in order to have the cash register ring up our nuggets for over $5?
