And if you get a bucket of eight pieces? Forget about it! Our location was walk up and drive thru only, and a line was forming (always a good sign!) while we looked at the menu. OMG the chicken was tender, juicy, not greasy AT ALL and both perfectly spiced and salted, inside and out. They must use a pressure-marinating system to infuse their chicken with a brine before frying. It was so tender and moist, plus seasoned all the way through to the bone, that this MUST be how they do it. The chicken and rice gravy bowl had savoury yellow rice topped with tender chicken and a lovely peppery gravy. For those who may not want to eat fried, the 8oz bowl is enough for lunch with a biscuit. The bowl also comes in a 16oz size for dinner, perfect for a side. WHEN IN MEMPHIS EAT HERE!!
