I have been putting this off for some time now, but I can no longer be silent. There is a good amount to be said, so you may want to sit down. First off, I'm a student, and as result I have spent so many hours dining here, and many more hours using this location for its convenience in order to work on homework and assignments for my classes, so that's how I have noticed what happens here, as this situation is without a doubt largely kept silent and swept under the rug. The management here at this location is not just a big problem, but an enormous problem. It is not everyone in the management department, of course, but certain individuals in particular who call themselves a "manager". This is such a big problem because it affects the whole experience and it really throws away any potential for a 5-star experience, throws it right out the window. It's no surprise that Chick-fil-A has phenomenal food choice and variety, and you can easily observe how each worker works so very hard to provide this, and to make a memorable 5-star experience available for every single person who walks in, or drives thru. This is what they are committed to. But these workers are treated so very poorly that it's hard not to notice it, especially if you take a moment to just sit and watch (and listen). It ruins the whole experience. It's toxic -- Seeing an establishment that claims to be "Christian" as it puts its staff through hell. Silent hell. On the surface, you'll never ever see a frown, or hear a sigh, because that's how dedicated these young people are, and how afraid they are, as they hope to not provoke their abuse. You take a few minutes to talk with them, these young men and women, and you'll know how they really feel and you won't be able to un-see or un-hear just how poorly they are treated by an individual who should absolutely NOT have the position that they do. This person is a power-hungry, selfish, seemingly sadistic tyrant, and they absolutely need to be removed from this establishment if this location wants any hope of providing a better environment, especially for the people who work here. I am aware of at least one event where an employee at this location attempted to go above this individual in order to seek out help they needed for this situation. Word got back to the tyrant about the "grievance" against them, and the identity of the employee was seemingly not kept as anonymous as promised. Here's the help they received: they were severely punished and oppressed by the tyrant they were seeking to escape. They were blackballed and snubbed. Night after night I came to study for my tests, and night after night I watched as they were made to clean the entire front eating area and restrooms, almost always with no help, closing practically alone while there were multitudes of employees working together elsewhere and behind the counter. They were ignored, stuck in the process of "training" for over a year, and months longer, while other trainees were swiftly promoted from training and allowed to progress to the point of training others! This employee was misused and mistreated, drudged into actual physical illness. Eventually they had their hours cut and were taken off the schedule completely. When they recovered, they tried to move locations. They were ignored, brushed off. Don't believe me? Then come witness it for yourself. It's usually extremely hard to say anything negative about a Chik-fil-A visit, because they strive to provide a sweet experience, but, at this location, which we have visited many times, so many times that I've lost count, I can no longer turn a blind eye to the sour taste in my mouth. read more

Came here for a late lunch last week and it was as expected. They have a great system down pack that allows for you to order, pay, and pick up food (drive thru). I ordered the Spicy Deluxe Chicken Sandwich w/no cheese, Large Fry, and Regular Lemonade. Everything was in the bag as I pulled off (I made sure to check) but the food was lukewarm. I had to reheat the fries and chicken once I made it home. I totally get they're wanting to move the line and not have long wait times but I would be more appreciative of hot food when I receive it. This restaurant has really gone downhill! It used to be bustling with people and employees and it just had a great atmosphere and the food and service were great! They totally gutted the nice atmosphere and it is sterile and the employees are not friendly anymore. We went in there after 8:30 and used the restroom and came out to order. The girl at the register said we could not "dine in" because it was 8:56 pm! Lots of customers were seated in the dining room! Love me some "chicky fila"! This place has the smoothest operation going and my order has NEVER been incorrect. This particular visit I decided to forgo the drive thru even tho the line moves at lightening speed; I decided to do pick up. Here lies the reason for the one point deduction. The young lady that brought the order to the car had my order and one other order in the bin. She holds the bin up to my car window and mumbles something.... I'm assuming she's saying something about the order, but I have no idea what! Anywho, I grab the bags AND what do you know..she SPEAKS! That is when she tells me that my order is the first one in the bin; well it would have been nice to actually see the receipt prior to me placing my hand on the bags and guessing which was mine. Turn the bags so I can read the receipt on the bag please! Y'all I'm funny about my fries; I want ALL my fries and don't mind if you throw some in the bag for a safe trip as well like the burger place up the road. This visit the fries were half full and not fresh, couldn't believe it! I was so disappointed, but I had already made it home in 5pm traffic on Hwy 64 and I was not going back out in the trenches. Worst managed chick-Fil-a I've ever been too. Most chick-fil-a's are well oiled machines. This location is the squeaky wheel that needs the grease. A loathe area that should be providing waiting customers with their orders has been taken over to stage delivery orders. This may have been a good idea during the pandemic. But now that customers are returning, it needs to be moved up o the back of the house. The que for the line has been hijacked to make separate lines for normal customers and delivery app pickups. But the area for staging app pickups isn't actually being used. So half of the area that should be used for the customer line is essentially dead space, so customers who come into the restaurant to order can't distinguish between who's inline and who's just waiting to pick up and order. The drive through routinely takes up to 40-45 mins. CORPORATE; you need to come make sure your franchisee/their managers are trined right! This is not indicative of your brand! I'd give it one star, but they still serve delicious chick-fil-a sandwiches. read more

They know how to search for food. Most know how to avoid humans. The roosters know how to protect their hens when in danger. You've got to give chickens some credit. They also know that the rooster has to fertilize the hen's eggs and the hen must sit on them if there's any chance of survival. There is a natural order to things and some ways work better than others. Chick-fil-a knows this and has found the best way to make a chicken sandwich. Of course a meat bird will never live long enough to lay an egg. In this case the rooster and hen serve the same purpose equally well. I have never been a fan of JUST chicken places, but WOW these little chickens must smoke a little crack cocaine before they die. This chicken is flavorful, juicy and the crust is just-right crispy. And I have tried a few in town and out of town, no difference. And you just can't beat someone smiling and calling out your name personally for your food. Love that personal touch. I have lived in Memphis my entire life. I have frequented Chick-fil-A's all over the area (Collierville, East Memphis, Germantown) and this Chick-fil-a is the best at what they do. This location is located near the Wolfchase mall and is very busy. They constantly have a long drive-thru line. WITH THAT BEING SAID: This staff works so fast! They are very organized and keep that restaurant clean. I always see the staff in motion. Because with a place that busy, there's always something to be done. They are kind and patient. A positive attitude and killer service is why I have continually come back to this location year after year. The other Chick-fil-a's in the area could learn a thing or two from this location. The "Wolfchase" Chick Fil A has moved to a larger dining establishment with a huge parking lot, but COVID put a damper on patrons enjoying the inside dining facilities. Its still closed as of now. As usual, their chicken sandwiches and other chicken offerings are delicious, but their service continues to slide downhill. Missed items, incorrect orders, and SKIMPING ON FRIES are becoming the norm. Quit upselling your customers to a large combo and giving them small/medium portion of fries. I would rather wait in line an extra minute or two and have a correct, complete order than drive to my destination only to discover a jacked up order. read more

The area which reviewers consistently report as a negative @ Chick-fil-A is Ambiance ~ & I agree. There is none. Walking from your car across the parking lot dodging vehicles means taking your life in your hands. Many times I only go inside because the drive-through line is hopeless. The front 1/3 is jammed with customers milling around & doors almost stay open. Employees constantly yell out names to pick up. So the noise level & distractions are not pleasant. I eat & leave as soon as possible. Which is EXACTLY WHAT CFA WANTS! But I keep going back because no other restaurant can touch the taste / quality / freshness / of their chicken ~ combined with quick service. I've always loved Chick-fil-a, and I worked for the company for years. This is one of the newest built restaurants in the city, and it is the dirtiest one I've ever seen. i stood in the restaurant for 32 minutes waiting on my order of 2 salads, 2 drinks, and a Mac and cheese. i ordered ahead on the app, hoping to cut down time. While waiting, I watched 5 team members stand at the registers doing absolutely nothing. The floor was so sticky, my shoes were actually stuck. it didn't even smell like a restaurant, it smelled like an overly febrezed house, which was really strange to me. i have counted 21 people working the front of hpuse, and not one single person has tried to clean the floors, counters, tables, anything. I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of care this restaurant has shown. The only person I can compliment is Susan. She didn't once act like she didn't care.
