Pool table!

Really cool bar! My friends and I walked in and instantly liked the vibes. We've often walked past it and wondered about. It's spacious with both large tables and intimate tables. There's also a pool table in the back! Be sure to bring $2 cash or coins. We all loved our drinks and the bartender was friendly. Give this place a shot!

This place is now my second home. I've met so many great people here since my last review. Vibes are always great, dogs & outside food welcome, and of course, staff is beyond amazing. Adding shoutout to Carlos, Julian, and Jorge!

i was in sf for a work trip and we came here after dinner with a group of about 20 coworkers. off the bat, the vibes were great, ambient lighting, great rnb throwback music, a great selection of yummy cocktails, and a very friendly bartender serving up delicious drinks at a reasonable price point for a big city (around ~15 per drink). i ordered the cucumber gimlet, which was SO good i got two. i'm a huge fan of elderflower in drinks and the bartender simply had magic hands, he really knew what he was doing in making these drinks. my coworkers and i were all very satisfied with our drinks and went on to order a couple more each while playing pool. my colleagues and i had a really great time at this bar, the drinks were great and the overall cozy, fun and chill ambience really facilitated the perfect type of environment for a fun night with the team.

Menu board showing a sherry colada at $14. I was charged $15.

Edit: Management took swift corrective action to refund my drink for the price difference and that's worth a significant rating upgrade. ------ False advertising. Nothing makes me more angry than when a business has clearly posted prices but charges you more. I ordered a cocktail that's clearly labeled on their wall at $14 and was charged $15 for it. With so many other good bars nearby, why should I bother to come back here? Way to burn customers with sleazy sales tactics. I hope you correct your mistakes.

Stopped in for a couple drinks and this place did not disappoint. There was one bartender but the wait wasn't too long as there wasn't too many people there. Happy Hour menu is limited. Overall I would go back.

Came here with friends on a Friday after work. I loved the artwork on the building and the menu is on the door coming in. Coming into the bar, it had an old-school (like a WW2-era I assume!) wooden/industrial/rustic vibe and furnishings. We got all three of the happy hour cocktail drinks - Jewelz, Bourbon Manhattan, and Americano. I remember the Jewelz was a bit sweet, I got the Manhattan and found it to be standard, and the Americano was very refreshing. So my personal ordering of my favorites of these would be their Americano, Bourbon Manhattan, then the Jewelz. I'd highly recommend coming here for the atmosphere and for some solid drinks after work!

Visited this cozy bar for a friend's birthday over the weekend. The service, drinks, and overall ambiance of the place was incredible! Staff behind the bar and on the floor were awesome and accommodating to us guests throughout the night. They have a great selection of beers on tap from Bay Area breweries, as well as specialty cocktails and wines. We enjoyed some brews and a fair share of hand crafted cocktails which were all excellent. Besides bar seating, there's plenty of booth seating and high top tables as well. This was the perfect space to host a celebration. And don't miss out on the retro photo booth and pool table!

Awesome spot for some cocktails! Super friendly bartender and atmosphere. They have free pool on Tuesday nights which was awesome. The Manhattan hit the spot. Place was decorated with Christmas decorations which was really cool during the season.

===TL;DR=== - Cocktail of the night: - Islay (I like to read it as i-slay tyvm) [yes I know, it's pronounced as ai-luh] - Lions tail (so I slay... lions tail... ba dum tss) ===TMI=== If you followed my 'Last Rites' review, then you know why I'm here. To beat the line of course -smirk-. What does that mean? I stumbled upon this place, got front roll seats to the bartender (curse: people kept squeezing in between you to order drinks & you're praying for them not to spill. Blessing: you get to watch them make drinks!) Nice & cozy but crowded place, I like them. Very chill vibes all around. Sip on a drink or 2 (the drinks were tasty), people watching here is great. They have a pool table in the back, good luck waiting for a turn. Since it's the holiday season, I saw people did Friendsgiving here, celebrating with gifts, drinks, and a good time.

Great drinks and centralized bar to all of the other great bars in the Castro. Friendly staff and nice ambience for an afterwork happy hour.

I liked the cardamom in the Beauty Mark as well that my partner ordered. We ordered shishito peppers and mushroom bahn mi sliders. The mushroom bahn mi sliders were amazing - the quality fillings and taste of the soft bun - I was unexpectedly hit with a bite of spice from maybe jalapeño seeds left but didn't sour my experience. The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! Great experience, I would be weary if the peppers as I'm a bit spice-intolerant but everything else was spot-on.

The club was set to close at 2am -- so they start getting everyone together and closing out tabs a 10 minutes or so before it actually closed. I finish my drink and gather my belongings to go to the restroom beforehand. It was occupied at the time ... so I decided not to worry anymore and walk back to my friends. As I'm doing so, I hear the guard rudely speaking to them and telling them to leave. I advised the man that the club was still open at the moment (they had about 5 mins left) and that we actually were heading out then. I also told him that he didn't have to speak to my friends like that - after he had just been joking around with them moments before. Instead of taking accountability, he immediately got an attitude with me and stated that he didn't care about that and it was time to go. Another female guard then popped up randomly and essentially told me to "fix my delivery" and that the man was her brother. To which I replied, that they were both ultimately in the wrong. I understand wanting to leave work but being rude and distasteful towards paying customers isn't the way to do jt. I hope they hire better employees it was a nice place!

There were only two service staff; we could tell they were working hard but they definitely needed more help. We made two trips to the bar and it took about 15-20 minutes to get service. Drinks were decent. A larger group arrived to the left of us, and about 20 minutes after they arrived, the male service worker told us we had to move cause our spot was reserved. Mind you, we'd been there for almost two hours at this point and nobody had mentioned anything about our spot being reserved, and there was no sign holder indicating it either. It was also advertised as a "no cover" event, so curious to know how reservations were even made. He told us we could move over to the wall; which we discovered was right next to the restrooms and the line of users. Not cool. We then noticed that the larger group had spread out and taken our spot; were we supposed to believe these were the supposed "reservation" holders and not just your friends? Overall, just another mediocre bar that caters to the people they know. Not much concern for new customers, so we have no interest in returning or recommending to anyone. Plenty of other bars in the city; better bars that won't make you feel inferior.

Every drink had 10,000 ingredients, and most of them did not work together. If the drink did work together, you just tasted nothing because everything blended together and you couldn't taste any special or fun ingredients.  Unfortunately, I don't think this spot is worth looking for.
