I looked at 20+ facilities all around the metro area and nothing comes vaguely close to the safety, cleanliness, and service provided here. Drive through bay for your car and truck makes you feel super safe even if you're a female going to and front the unit alone (most storage facilities are terrifying). The bay is also clutch for moving trucks especially if a rain storm or blizzard hits on moving day (we had one of each). It's well lit and bright. Units are all super clean as is the rest of the facility. It's well staffed and Leo is wonderful. Climate control will keep your precious belongings safe even in frigid Boston winters or humid summers. We tell everyone we know about ezstorage. I had just resigned to the fact that all storage units are terrible, sketchy places often with homeless people living in them if you're anywhere near Boston, oh and they'll rip you off too and raise your rates or never stop billing you. Storing your goods does not have to be misery, people!! Go to EZstorage now. They're honest and wonderful. You have actual peace of mind knowing your stuff is safe. Having had a small business in the same vicinity believe me my tendency would be to be as supportive as possible but the treatment I received was inexcusable. 1. I never missed a payment. During Covid, I mailed my monthly payment within days of being due ( even though my own vendors were months behind) and due to the mail service at the time being very slow, I was slapped with a late fee which took some discussion to remove despite the whole world at the time being exempt from late rent and eviction. 2. More recently I went to move items out and had an accident where my face was bleeding profusely-- no one was in the office or reachable by phone ( I sat by my phone with blood all over my clothes , crying and trying to reach a family member. Why the manager did not forward his phone to his cell in this day and age is beyond me and should be a security requirement, but the fact that I later learned it was he walking by me numerous times without an inquiry was unbelievable! The man with him later turned out to be quite kind and got me ice once I figured out that the manager was on the floor. 2. The next time i went to the unit was the 5th of the month and my check had been mailed on Monday the 3rd. I could not get in despite the fact there is a 10 day grace period. The manager told me he could override the controls but only if he were in his office which, based on past behavior, could have trapped me there. I was in the process of getting him a personal cc ( would also need to cancel my check) when he hung up on me-- seriously? 3. I was pretty upset when I called back and mentioned his neglect when I was injured and lack of safety to which he replied " I am not here to serve your beck and call." 4. Fine free country -- CUBESmart is awesome!!

The people at the counter were nice and friendly, and the lady behind the counter walked us to our reserved unit to make sure it met our needs. It did, so we walked back and completed the process. We used the gate access code to move our van in for unloading, and the same code to access the entry doors. We grabbed two carts and unload the van quickly. On our second trip, two others were unloading and we had to wait 25 minutes before a cart was freed up. I would suggest management invest in a few more carts - allows more people to load and unload faster, making it a better experience for all. So far so good...

Having not ever run a paint sprayer before, I decided to rent one to redo a basement with Latex paint on the walls. Calling three or four days ahead allows you to reserve it by putting down a credit card. Seems easy right? That is until you meet the staff at this particular location. Not a lot of personality nor an ounce of customer service. No greetings, no anything. I mean its situated in Wellesley (no offense) but its a rental place for crying out loud. Regardless, the rental seems smooth (except for the $150 deposit you have to put down to rent one of these things) and then I get home to use it and the thing does not want to work with the thickness of the paint. Diluting it does not work either so it basically fails. I return it one day early only to be beaten up by I guess the owner who looked like he was either having a bad day or hates working at a Taylor Rental, because he would have never rented this to me, had he knew I was using it for a basement. The guy not only started going off on me, he started going off on the guy helping me to return this. I told him to eat the deposit for the trouble and have a nice day. It was the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen and this is one of the worst rental places in the area. Tell you what, educate your customers on your equipment prior to renting and go learn some customer service! if you ever want to rent something, stick with the location in West Roxbury. At least you won't get treated poorly by some irate manager.

The movers -- Adam, Chuck, and Tom -- called right on time to tell me they were on their way to my place, at exactly the agreed upon time. They arrived at my place right on time. All three were very professional, friendly, polite, cheerful, and clearly put their experience to good use. The move was swift as could be. Not a ding on anything. They actually made it seem like this was easy -- and I'm sure it wasn't! These guys REALLY went above and beyond ... When we were about to leave for the storage facility, I discovered that my car battery was dead (worst possible timing!). These guys actually pushed my car, physically themselves, so that they could give me a jump from the truck. Way beyond the call of duty! When we arrived at the storage facility, Chuck was particularly helpful in helping me get the best bang for my buck and not over-paying for space I didn't need. He used his experience to eyeball my stuff and let me know which size compartment I needed -- and he was exactly right. As a single woman with some physical limitations due to an autoimmune disease, I can't overstate how much I appreciated how kind and extra helpful these movers were to me. Of course tips are not expected or asked for, but I gave what I could afford -- only wish I could have afforded to give them more. They certainly deserved it. This review is so glowing it doesn't even sound real to me, ha -- but this was the best moving experience I've ever had. Hire this company, and ask for these three guys, and you will be all set.

I have moved using moving companies several times in my life, and this was by far my worst…read moreexperience. Do not use this company For the low low price of $1k, I got a move that took 7 hours to go literally around the corner. Things started off badly when it took an additional half hour for the movers to find parking (in the city that they're located in), because they hadn't requested a permit. The crew, "the best crew I have" of three was a 50+ 'foreman' who refused to take apart furniture, a vaping mover who kept complaining to us about the foreman, and the third (just another $20!) mover upsold to us who had clearly never moved anything before. They all disappeared for 20 or more minutes at a time, multiple times, occasionally having to move their truck. Things went from bad to worse when the foreman refused to take apart an ikea couch. I ended up taking it apart myself, in the hallway of my building, after a wasted half hour of him trying to shove it into the elevator despite my increasingly desperate protests. My partner and I ended up disassembling and moving our own kitchen island after the crew refused to do so as well. Our move finally ended, in the rain, seven hours after we had started. When I gave this feedback to the owner of the company, he brushed it aside, and charged me for the full 7 hours, including the wasted time involving the couch and parking. My move took twice as long as necessary because of the crew's lack of ability to function as a unit, and the foreman's insistence that nothing be taken apart. If you have an option, i strongly recommend going elsewhere.

Before I knew it, they were hoisting our larger pieces up the side of the building. Of course, beforehand, they made absolutely sure that our things were properly protected and that our balcony would support the operation. They were also helpful in advising what to do with our over-sized couch, which could not fit up the stairwell nor be hoisted. I would highly recommend their service. I've already used them again!
