Our mini aussie Leo is obsessed with this place and starts shrieking with joy the minute we turn down the driveway. He always comes home tired and happy. We can tell how much he loves it because when we come to pick him up, he has to wiggle and give goodbye hugs and kisses to the whole staff over and over! We joke that he is the "Mayor of Tiny Town" because he loves it there so much. I have to roll my eyes at the 1-star keyboard warriors complaining that they don't answer the phone. First, they respond to voicemails SUPER fast, just leave a vm. And second, oh no--you mean they're actually, you know, TAKING CARE OF THE DOGS instead of hanging out at the front desk? Silly complaint. This place is a gem of a local business and we book Leo here whenever we leave town even for a single night. So worth the (VERY reasonable) money. Rock on SkyBlue!!

A focus on "dog culture" vs "human culture," reading dogs' body language, effectively communicating…read morewith dogs, and shifting the energy between you and your dog gives the Naked Dog's programs a "dog whispering" feel. It's much more wide ranging than training that's only focused on commands like sit/stay/down/etc (though you can work on all of those with the Naked Dog's programs too). Before we signed up for the group training series, I was at my wit's end with our recently adopted dog. He had a lot of behavioral issues, ranging from chewing things in the house, overall excitability, constant attempts to eat pecans and, worse, trash on walks (and often succeeding despite our best efforts & requiring steady doses of probiotics and even a vet visit to induce vomiting), and lunging on leash at dogs and passing vehicles. We also noticed that when we took him to the dog park, he'd play really rambunctiously and generally go 0-60, including running and body checking other dogs (not the best strategy for harmonious playing). The great part about this series is that it's three in-person sessions (we added a fourth for some additional coaching) and the rest is a series of online lessons. This made it easy for us to work through at our own pace. In the online portion, the end of every lesson included video homework that we'd send in and get feedback from one of the Naked Dog trainers -- this was great because it captured us applying these skills in a total real world setting, without the presence of a trainer to coach us or influence our dog to be on his best behavior. Fast forward a couple months, and now we feel confident that we can handle any situation with our dog, including taking him to busy and distracting environments and responding to misbehavior. He's mellowed out so much -- he isn't perfect, but it feels like we've reached an understanding. He went from my problem child to my sidekick. He can walk in a heel, he comes when called, and will wait at the door before we say he can come in. It feels like he's looking to us as leaders and that he's truly settled in as part of our family. We followed the Naked Dog's recommendations for introducing dogs for the first time when we took him over to a friend's house to meet their dogs, and they remarked on what a good dog he is, and that he's better behaved than other dogs they've petsitted, so now we have a worry-free petsitting option. I also now take him by our neighborhood park on walks and let him meet other dogs, which used to be a wild activity full of leash pulling and jumping. The Naked Dog taught us what to look for in reading dogs' behavior so that we can spot polite vs rude behavior and manage their interactions before they start getting too wild, which is a truly priceless part of this training seminar.

Transformative Online Training, Truly Beyond Words!…read more We are so grateful for Allegra and her incredible online training program. We took in two stray dogs who were wild, anxious, and completely untrusting. We weren't sure where to begin and it was chaotic for us, until we found her. Through her online courses and virtual sessions, she helped guide us step by step with patience, wisdom, and a technique that honestly goes beyond words. Even though we never met in person, her presence and deep understanding of animal behavior came through in every interaction. With her support, our dogs have started to trust us, calm down, and settle into their new life. The change has been remarkable. It feels like a miracle to see them open up and begin to feel safe and loved. If you're dealing with fearful or reactive dogs, do not hesitate to work with Allegra. Her approach is compassionate, intuitive, and truly life-changing. Thank you, Allegra, so much!!

I also appreciate that she took the time earlier in the week to do a brief meet-and-greet beforehand so that our dog would be familiar with her. My wife and I were ready to stop taking our dog to family functions and public places due to the constant barking. As Thanksgiving was a few months away I was convinced there was no way we could bring our dog to this family event. Signing up for training with Fetch Worthy changed everything. From the moment Shelly met our dog she started working to get to know her and what made her tick. After the first session it became clear that it wasn't only our dog getting trained but also my wife and I. Shelly took the time to recommend training that made sense for our lifestyle and our dog and after the first 2 sessions we were already seeing incredible results. Shelly has an incredible amount of patience which brought peace to us and our dog. I'm so proud to report that we've been able to bring the barking to a minimum while also improving our dogs well being overall. By the time we got to Thanksgiving our family was commenting that it was like we had a brought a different dog than the one they knew. We recommend Fetch Worthy to anyone that needs help with their dog. Books, videos, and online courses only go so far. You need someone that is willing to get to know your dog and offer training that specific to your dogs needs. We couldn't be happier with the results we've seen.

Being a dog sitter I have to go and pick up a dog I'm sitting for today. The one thing I have to…read moresay is that this is a very fun place for dogs it looks like they're all happy in there and you can actually view how your dog is doing with other dogs where there's cameras everywhere. Which is pretty epic I think and the one thing I would say is when I went to the front they didn't want to hand me over the dog so they're being very careful which is a good thing to hand me over the dog I'm sitting for today. As a matter of fact she was being very careful given me the dog to take with me. Even though they know my name and they knew I was coming in today. Furthermore they had his name wrong and they called him a different name which I corrected them. So other than that I have sat this particular dog several times in the past and I always pick them up at Dogtopia, love this! I also noticed they do have dog treats in the very front and a jar. That was a nice gesture to give treats to visitors and their dogs bringing them in or taking them. As a dog lover myself definitely would recommend this location they're very careful with your dog and make sure they're treated with great respect and treated very well. They even send you home with a report card of how the dog did while being at this Cool place! One negative I have to point out they have a school right across the way for children so they do tend to have a lot of parking and 1 guy that was backing up almost hit me today. I had to yell at him but he seemed like he might have been a little off. Picking up his children. So that is the only negative I have to say is that when people are picking up their children you could back into them so you have to be very careful at this location. Other than that I'm sure I'll be back again for another dog sitting job. Happy yelping guys!

The staff is not trained and should not be handling peoples pets. My beautiful husky now has a permanent scar above his eye and the staff had no idea how it happened and never got him treatment so I had to take him to my vet and pay to get him stitched. I'm appalled at the lack of care these kids are giving the dogs in their care.
