The zip line is pretty fun, even for adults. The staff are pretty helpful in explaining how things work and assist in putting on the harness and taking it off. The slide is also really fun, you get a mat to slide on and go down head-first on what seems a 90 degree plummet and land on an inflatable pillow. One thing I did see people struggling with is the anchoring point of the harness to the rock climbing rig. You gotta have some strength to properly rig it and kids often need assistance. In some of the reviews I read prior to visiting, people said it gets really busy on the weekends and the lines can really put a damper on the experience. While this place is not the newest, it was very clean and well staffed. Make sure to get dippin' dots as a treat on your way out. We would definitely come back!

There is a rock wall tower to climb and obstacle course up on the structure above the regular ninja course. I took off 1 star for the teenagers working there that just sat around talking and flirting with each other or on their phones. They looked super bored and couldn't be bothered to watch the kids for safety. When I kid was stuck on the sky obstacles course and was shouting for help but there was no workers in site, I went to find one and he just said, there's 2 harnesses so if 1 is stuck, there's the other one and walked away. September 6, 2026. We were excited to finally see this private zoo. I had proposed the idea of…read moreseeing Nova Wild to my husband, who was elated to go & insisted on going as early as possible. I saw the zoo website a few years ago and put it on my to do list for this area. Despite some of the negative reviews we saw online, the reviews did no affect us at all. Yet I could see how the negative reviews can affect one's perception of the zoo. Tickets are $20 for adults. Children's tickets are less. Parking is free. We came to the zoo in the morning to avoid crowds and less heat from the sun. It is true that there are additional costs for food to feed the animals, rides on the camel, and to see the butterfly garden. The prices are fair though. The zoo is small yet clean, well maintained, and has many areas & animals to see. Some of the animals are shy & avoid onlookers, yet that happens in zoos. Restrooms are limited. I only saw restrooms near the entrance. When compared to the Smithsonian zoo, this zoo was less crowded and the customers had better etiquette. Nova Wild truly went beyond our greatest expectations. I saw all the animals I wanted to see there. Despite the shyness of some of the animals, most of them seemed happy. Some had good interactions with the people and children especially when it came to being fed by children or adults. There are many sitting areas throughout the zoo. The bench by the lake and willow trees is where I spent a lot of rest time at the zoo. Highlights in the Nova Wild Zoo: Clouded Leopard, Cheetah, Fennec Fox, Giant Ant Eater, the Flamingos, the Camels, African Tortoise, Owls, Emus, Cows, and Silver Cheeked Hornbill bird. There were others as well yet I didn't spend that much time around them. My favorite place and last place to explore in the zoo was the butterfly garden. There were many blue butterflies flying inside the enclosed garden as well as other types of butterflies. It was mesmerizing watching the butterflies. We spent the most time watching the butterflies. We skipped doing the drive through safari since the line was so long and it was getting too crowded at the end of the day. It was a quiet and peaceful experience at the Nova Wild Zoo. We look forward to visiting this place again.

WOW! We LOVED our visit and have already booked another! This gym is really designed with…read moresensitivity in mind for kids who are sensory-seeking but is accessible for all levels of ability. My son kept repeating the phrase on the wall "the first playground where I never have to say sorry" or something to that effect. He had a huge smile on his face the whole time and it was so amazing to watch him have fun in a sensory safe, calm environment. For most of the visit, it was just me and my two kids so not too noisy which can be a barrier at indoor playgrounds at times for us. He did not want to leave to go home and that's rare for him! Open play is $22/child with $20/ additional siblings for two hour time slots that can easily be reserved online. Typical open play is Sunday 10am-6pm and Friday-Saturday 10am-7pm. Memberships are also available. The gym includes suspended equipment with various types of swings, crash mats and pillows, a zip slider, a trampoline, a small Mario-themed climbing wall, monkey bars, a climbing mountain, a rope bridge, a hammock swing, and a rolling bar slide. Outside of the equipment, there are imagination stations-a vet, a doctor, construction, a kitchen, and a Target store playset. Also a train set and an exercise bike. Lots of various balls scattered about and a separate area for infants and toddlers with lots of toys and a small slide. There is also a separate arts and crafts area and a book nook. In a separate room-the teen room-is a basketball game and air hockey plus lots of puzzles and games and additional sensory squares. Many indoor playgrounds become overwhelming for one of my kiddos and a unique feature here is a calming room with soft lights, weighted blankets, and large pillow chairs. The staff was so kind and helpful too. They were cleaning regularly and offered treats to the kids when they were upset our two hours were up. I wish there was a closer location but this is an amazing resource and we will visit again soon (as in tomorrow)!
