It's been a long time since I've been to a "kiddy" party at Chuck E Cheese. I remember having a great time as an adult while watching the kids enjoy themselves. This visit at this location, was not what I had remembered. I gave 2 stars only because the staff members were nice & the pizza was pretty good. Now for the salad bar, there wasn't any salad available. This is what I really wanted to say the least. Also, there were no chicken wings available. I was informed that they only had pizza & fries to offer. The carpets were very sticky. I do understand that kids will drop food & soda. However, the carpets were sticky throughout the entire establishment. We did the most to keep the kids from crawling & playing on the floor. I'm not sure how often they have them shampooed but it was obvious it hadn't been done in a while. If I revisit this location in the future, it will definitely be for take out...if they have what I want from the menu. read more

Cheese's are not created equal... - We waited 45 mins in a line with no one at the front desk and a costumer telling us that she was told they were getting change for her and couldn't find the key to do so. - a mother had a shirt on that read "Don't do wifey sh!t for a f*ck boy" - We ordered food that took two hours to deliver to us and the order was completely wrong. They scanned my card three times and claimed they're giving it to me for free but receipts came out so I need to check that I wasn't charged three times - When the girls ordered dippin dots, the employee gave them dishes of rainbow flavor, without asking them to choose. Neither wanted that flavor and were disappointed. I asked the only employee that was kind and patient during our experience and she switched them. - The entire place was TRASHED! People left their trash everywhere! So much disrespect from employees AND customers. - Kids were not being supervised at all and doing things that were not ok. Saw two older kids taking their straws and drinking right from each soda fountain flavor without cups. - The bathroom was a disgrace! Paper towels everywhere! Only two out of the 5 bathrooms had toilet paper. One stall was clogged with paper towels and the trashcan was on dumped on the floor with dirty diapers and such strewn across the floor. We had to jump over the mess to find a stall. A lot of this mess was probably due to disrespectful customers, but we saw plenty of workers walking around, not working! If they were on top of cleaning their bathrooms, no way it would look like that. - We witnessed parents mistreat their kids to a very uncomfortable extent. Hitting, throwing them like rag dolls, screaming in faces. My four year old was scared at one point and asked what was happening. Our girls had a blast playing the games, as usual... but this experience vs our past experiences were night and day. We would never return to the Springfield Chuck E. Cheese ever again. read more

If a franchise cannnot afford to have an adult supervisor on hand during peak times you have no business doing business. This place is robbing people. 1/3 of the games dont work. There is no one to help when it takes your coins and doesn't work. They take orders for food that have NO intention to fulfill. I waited almost an hour for a pizza that goes through a conveyor belt for 6 min to be cooked. My sister who ordered at the same time never got her food. They accused her of not having her buzzer with her which was completely untrue. the one person making food for the entire place and five birthday parties told me he didn't have her ticket and asked me multiple times what I paid for so he could "make it" and It took getting loud and Karen like with one of the few useless teenagers to finally get a refund for the food we never received. It's relatively clean which is the only plus I can come up with. Stay away. The owner of this place is knowingly stealing from consumers. You have been warned. read more

I see they have many new choices for pizza as well it's been over 10 years since I've even went to a Chuck E. Cheese I'm happy that's the children are happy and enjoying the time here. But I must say this place is as ghetto as ever while my daughter was playing one of the machines one of the little girls just came and snatched what she had in her hand, the child had to be about 2 years old not one parent watching this little girl. I don't even want to know when who what or where at that point I was ready to leave. The buffet is delicious by the way, but I will never step foot in this place again. My 3 kids and I went last night. The pros: Tokens are pretty cheap. They have great games even I love playing. Every game is just 1 token. They stamp hands upon entering and check hands when leaving for security. Cons: Cleanliness is Not a propriety until closing. Most Employees are under the age of 20. They are nice but could care less. The bathroom was atrocious. When you have an establishment that caters to children, you must take a priority to clean the the restroom at least every half hour. It was foul. Shame too cause I would visit more if not for that. I was too scared to try the food due to lack of care. I wonder if they wipe games every night? read more

We had our child's birthday party here on Saturday. Pros- -Early in the morning so the place was not crowded. -Excellent Party hostess -Clean environment -Reasonable price $15 per child includes 40 tokens (more then enough), pizza and a drink. Birthday child received a cape, mask and was able to enter the ticket blaster. - Place was big enough that other parents were able to "hang out" with their other kids while the invited child enjoyed the party. - The new big screen is really nice - I used a coupon and picked up an extra 100 tokens for $20 for the kids that used up the tokens quickly. -2 hours is plenty of time. -Pizza was actually tasty. Cons- -Two other parties at same time as our party and instead of spreading out the parties they lined us up next to each other. There are about 6-7 long party table areas. They squeezed the three parties in the in the first three sections. This caused at least 4 kids to sit at our table and eat our pizza and drink our drinks. -All parties were on the same schedule. They should be spread out by at least 30 minutes. My kid was in the ticket blaster and strangers were watching him because they blocked the bday boy's friends from seeing him. - Instead of us singing "Happy Birthday" there was a general recording that had ALL the parties sing at the same time. DUMBEST IDEA EVER!!!! We didn't have enough time to light the bday candle and really sing properly. -Chucky should have had a special dance with the bday child. All in all the kids had a blast and I would do it again if he wanted... I would just make sure our birthday table was spread out .. even if I had to move the party stuff myself. read more

Once I got to the store on Baltimore Pike Akita told me the order was not received. No apology that my order was lost and it felt like I was waisting her time getting paid. I didn't see her for another 25 minutes. She brought my food out without saying anything and I left. I'm now on hold trying to get ahold of the manager and have been waiting for over 15 minutes ago. My five year old was invited to a 6 year old birthday party here. I was actually impressed. He had a blast. Place was clean, and empty other then the birthday party we were attending. So that's probably what made it so good. All the kids seemed to have lots of fun, loved the tickets system and enjoyed the pizza. I wouldn't hesitate bringing him back. I think the tip of getting here when it opens is a clutch idea. That way it's not so dirty. read more

Chuck E. Cheese is a madhouse but the girls catering my daughters party were amazing. Her party was scheduled during the Saturday rush, at 5pm. It was so crowded you literally bumped into people moving from one game to the next. The men's bathroom was clean considering the amount of people. Most of the games/rides were working properly. Kudos again to the friendly staff, I appreciated their assistance. The cons... 1000 tickets for a plastic whistle that's $0.50 at Dollar General. It's disappointing to a toddler when he/she can't get something fairly decent. I think corporate should rethink the value of the prizes. My rating is based solely on the staff. read more

This location was awesome! I was there with my 6 year old and 6 month old granddaughters with my son and his fiancee. The location was clean and had a lot of awesome games - some that I haven't seen before. It was roomy too and we liked that - not just a bunch of games stuffed in a small area. The food was delicious and they had the best salad bar. The staff was friendly from the minute we walked in the door. I even made it a point to make sure the Manager knew how awesome it was. This is the worst place to take kids anymore. The employees are unhappy and cursing. People don't watch their own kids so they are constantly bumping into people. The food took over an hour to get to us. Do yourself a favor, if you're going to spend your money do it somewhere else. It's dirty and management laughed when asked for our money back. Spent way too much money for half the games to not be working. Of half that worked, many had no tickets. Only two machines working to redeem tickets. No one at merchandise counter. I asked 3 workers for help just for someone to tell me to hold on and tell their coworker in front of me that it was not their problem. Waited 30 minutes to cash in for those little toys. We go here but usually early on weekends. My kids love it and could play there for hours. It's not perfection but the manager is great and kind. They usually are on top of keeping things in order. Getting a ticket prize is a little slow but all in all we like it a lot. read more

Literally just gross. It's basically a money pit as all they have now are games that require tokens and no ball pit, barely any jungle gym left. All of the prizes cost more tickets than you could possibly win in one visit (unless you pick the cheap made in China plastic tchotchkes). I was so happy when it was closed. Little did I know it was for renovations. The premise in theory is great but it seems it's just a place for non working parents to flop while their unruly children cause havoc on the better behave kids. I had my child at a game holding her up as she was 2 at the time. A little kid literally wedged himself between is ms the game and proceeded to play the game on our token. I brought my 5 year old son here yesterday afternoon and it was so bad that even he asked to leave! The milk jug game took 4 of his credits but never played- we told someone at the counter and they radioed to someone who was supposed to meet us at the game. 20 minutes later nobody showed. It was to crowded and understaffed to get anybody's attention after that. SIX games never gave my son tickets (games we know are supposed to), the sketch machine took my sons credit and never worked, and because many parents weren't watching their kids we got run over on many occasions. This place needs more weekend staffing, better maintenance, and clear visible signs in the event a game is out of order. The poor girl at the prize counter looked like she was ready to have a break down and I don't blame her! One person working the prize counter while the line is back to the restroom is uncalled for. We waited 20 minutes to get to the counter. I don't bring my son here often, but we won't be back other than stopping in this afternoon to let a manager know how horrible the experience was. read more

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE! The staff walks around oblivious to what is going on. The manager is utterly incompetent and seriously lacking customer service skills. I give it 1 star because my daughter does have fun here. But this trip was the final straw. Prime time Saturday night. Packed. Floor staff of 5, including the cashier and person who stands at the door. Place was FILTHY!!! I told my daughter she couldn't do the climbing gym because I could literally smell the pee from outside the area. The bathroom was disgusting- the trash was all over the floor. Our food (1 medium pizza) took 75 minutes to arrive and only after I begged the ticket prize person to go find it. She came back 10 min later with the pizza on a dirty tray, still soaked in dishwater. We ate at a table I cleared and wiped down myself since there was NO WHERE clean to eat. Many of the machines were broken or out of tickets. The kids were playing tag throughout the place and no staff around to crowd control. But to me its quite cheaper rides to fun for kids.so I recommend parents to take their kids to this place special in winter when kids don't have choice to play out side. read more

I haven't been to this location since they tore it down and rebuilt it. I used to come here so much as a child, and I'm sad to see it all go to shit. First off, I don't know if I came on a bad day or something, but it was clearly understaffed. I mean, No one supervising the play area, no one to help if someone had a problem, just all around terrible staffing. There were kids climbing onto the machines, taking the basketballs, and chucking them from one end of the building to the other. Not one parent nor employee said a thing. Someone could've gotten hurt, but no one else cared. Almost all the machines took our tokens and didn't let us play, and once again, when I looked for someone to tell, no one was available. So finally I said fuck it, I just wanted to go home so we went to cash in the tickets we had. The person behind the counter wasn't paying us any attention, she was rude, she didn't greet us or anything. When we decided on what we wanted she slammed it on the counter, and quickly walked away as if we were annoying her. I mean, we're not the reason she works at chuck e cheese, so why is she mad at us? CHUCK E DISEASES, WHERE A KID CAN GET SICK!!! I was invited to attend a birthday party at 3:00 p.m., was STILL waiting on food at 5:00 p.m. Finally we got the food, had to send back the chicken because it was cold...as in..NOT fully cooked! When the cooked chicken arrived it was spicy instead of barbecue, my daughter had to spit it out! My daughter has one kidney and after the chicken incident, I was so scared she would eat something to shut that one down but she was hungry! After a trip to the sorry salad bar, I was done! I found a fig newton bar in my bag and gave that to her, stayed to sing happy birthday and left! The floor in front of the soda dispenser was SO sticky, I felt like spider man walking the floor! And the bathroom was so nasty, I told my kids to hold it because we were leaving! There was vomit on at LEAST two rides! I was there for this party from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m., I NEVER saw anything get cleaned! Including the tables after people left!I am upset that I had to give this place one star! read more
