I have never been here before...nor have I ever really wanted to, but my 5 year old was insistent (for about 6 months) we have his 5th birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. We were graciously greeted by Dee Dee, our hostess for the party. She right away put all of our uncertainties at ease and took care of EVERYTHING. She told us she wanted us to do one job...NOTHING! I Love her!!! Dee Dee made sure everyone was fed and happy, she kept checking back with us and kept us on our schedule. I really never wanted to come to Chuck E. This place was insane. My second experience here and if I didn't learn my lesson before, I sure hope I learn this time...I went on a Thursday Night to help celebrate my little nieces birthday. Just a small group of us went. The food is horrendous and expensive, but you get tokens with a meal deal thingy. But the parents that take their kids here must think this is a daycare center and let them run wild! The place is small and they jam pack the the games and rides in there. But one thing I thought was cool is that games are only a token instead of like 4 or 5. I can not say I will never return, because I am sure one of my friends or family will want to have their child's party there. I just know I will eat before hand. read more

I paid 200$ to have a nice bday party with just my 5 kids and my mom and boyfriend . The place was empty and yet our service sucked ! Our host also greeted us as he was in if the managers I don't know how he got the position. We were seated and everything was going smooth kids ate then finally off to play their games then 10 mins later he comes back and tells us to seat our kids for cake ok no problem went to get them he comes back with the cake sets it infrint of their faces and was like ok I'll be back in 10 mins with chuck e then comes back and puts on the speakers saying everyone for this party come sit down. My kids have already been sitting here 20 mins when they could be playing games we have a limited 2 hours then he totally forgets to do the ticket blaster and we did it last min. And then when we leave there's not even anyone there to check out stamps so kids could be wondering out and no one would even know. Never going back there !!!! read more

I had my sons 4th birthday party here and I can say I'm extremely happy with how it turned out!! The host was amazing! Very helpful and very knowledgeable. I wish I got her name because I plan on doing my daughters birthday party there as well and would like the same host! The pizza was really good and a good price as well! My son had a great time!! We got here at 5:30 and waited in line for 21 minutes. There were two people in front of us. We ordered a medium pizza with the family sampler. ( feeds 4). Waited and waited until I went to ask where our order was and they brought it out right away. My guess is that it was just sitting there for a while because it wasn't even hot. My first impression on the family sampler was what. The. F*** is this. Three pieces of wings, a hand full of fries and about five small pieces of bread sticks. We paid 31 for all of it. I feel like they rip us off. It wasn't even that good for the price. They don't even have much games for the smaller kids. Plus the employees stand around joking around with each other and as soon as a customer shows up they switch to zombie mode and go emotionless like if you don't like working there go somewhere else. read more

I love the concept of Chuck E Cheese. 1 token for everything, and kids can run freely but still contained. The problem I have is that they are extremely understaffed. Saturday and Sunday you should be prepared for. Lines were long, multiple employees standing around doing nothing, I had to search for a trashcan, tables were dirty, and there was one employee that hated her job and it was very apparent. If management would adjust a few things this place could be much better. read more

This place is nasty. They never sanitize! Both times I took my toddler here, he ended up with croup. They also truly suck at customer service, the older employees act like you're bothering them and have no expression on their face or personality while taking your order. Even when standing at the counter waiting for someone to help you, they walk by at least 5 times without acknowledging you or making eye contact, even during hours that aren't busy. The teenagers try hard to do their jobs and they are better at it than management. I say clean this place out management-wise and get people in here who actually want to work and CLEAN! read more

The place is fun for my 3 year old, and she loves to come. She asks me all the time! Our recent visit I decided to grab a lil snack on my way, because at the moment I can't eat pizza. Even though I spent over 30 dollars there and do each time I come here witch is often! The lady seen that I brought LETTUCE TO SNACK ON! She watched me eat half and just smiled in my face! About 20 mins of being there, she walks up and says I cannot eat anything besides pizza. Like lady I'm eating lettuce for crying out loud! I do NOT like how they came to me about it. I do not like how they let me sit there for a minute. Smiled in my face, let me spend my money when they seen my LETTUCE..... maybe my 3 year old would like fun quest next time! This was the first time I've been to chuck e cheese in quite a while, and will definitely be the last. First, who the heck charges .33 cents per token?! I've never been to a place in my life where a token wasn't the same as a quarter! How does that even make sense?? However, I didn't complain. Got $10 worth of tokens for my daughter to play games. And after spending all $10 worth of tokens, do you know what she was able to get? A sucker. One little sucker for $10 worth of tickets. Not only was that all she got, but it took 40 minutes for us to even get helped at the prize counter because they had one teenager who was working both the prize counter, and the front register. There was no real line at the prize counter either. Kids kept walking up and cutting in front of us, and the guy would help them first. I definitely don't mind spending money when we go to places like this, but I do expect to get enough prizes for the money I pay. Pizza was good, but took almost an hour for us to get, games were dirty, a lot were out of order, and in the 3 hours we were there, the mouse didn't come out to see the kids at all. There's lots of other arcades in Reno and I would be much happier to go to any other one next time. I had been to Chuck E Cheese's in the late 80s and their sister company Showbiz Pizza for parties when I was a kid and remember it being dirty, run down, and the pizza served was really really bad. So I was skeptical when my toddler received an invite to a party that was being held there. But, seeing as it was not about my wishes and it was about toddlers getting their fun on, me and my boyfriend packed us up and attended. First impressions, I didn't expect this place to be that crowded. It was more than crowded - it was hoppin'. Several birthday parties were going on at once, and additionally, there were several small family groups there for the afternoon. After checking in at the front and getting our hand stamped, we made our way to our section and scoped the place. Every game machine was well maintained and clean, the animatronics were in great shape and engaging, the staff was on point (extremely helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and professional), and the entire place was cheerful and upbeat. I was surprised that the pizza was actually decent, along the lines of something you would get from Dominos or Pizza Hut. There was also a wing platter that had different flavors of wings and dipping sauce. I didn't get a chance to check out the salad bar, but I overheard people talking about it positively. The only things I wish were better: there needs to be more space between tables so people can scoot back and get up from the table without bumping into another party, and the actual din and crowd got to me a bit - I'm used to more quieter venues. All in all, I was very impressed, and we are already discussing doing my daughter's 3rd birthday party (already have plans for her 2nd coming up) there. read more

This place is terrible! We celebrated our sons 2nd birthday party last night here. It wasn't as busy as any typical weekend at CEC. We arrived 30 mins. prior to our reservation. We weren't greeted by our party host at the door, we finally met our host at our table (Jazmin). She wasn't enthusiastic about being there at all. As soon as she explained everything to me, I made sure to start ordering our food already that way before our guests came, they won't have to wait too long. Nooooot!! Our food came an hr. and a half later! Boooo! All of our guests were hungry! The pizza were okay and the wings platter that we ordered didn't come until another 30mins. later! We had a very bad experienced here. In addition, our guests were treated poorly and not only that, some of their staff were rude. Our host never came back and ask if we were doing okay nor if we needed anything else. We will never come back here for any of our child's birthday party! read more

So as an average family, we were looking for something fun as well to eat. We were having a good time, just ordered our food, we were playing games waiting for our food to be delivered to our table. When I happen to walk by with my 2 year old daughter, we seen a little girl who was playing a game. The game caught her attention so we stopped to see what it was all about. When we started to walk off, my daughter who was right behind me had made a funny noise, she whined, I looked back real quick an seen the little girl remove her hand form my daughters arm. I asked the little girl what she was doing because me daughter said "Mommy she do like this"(showed me a pinch motion on her arm) mind you my daughter had an instant bruise! So when i asked the little girl what happen, she put her hand out an shook her head like "HA!" So my daughters aunt went an asked the little girl what happen, she said she was helping look for her mom.. Mind you, I was right beside my daughter the WHOLE time. Well we asked her where her mom was, she proceeded to tell us she works there, so we went an spoke with management. Joseph, is his name! He was amazing! This place is absolutely ridiculous. Tried taking my nephew there and will never try again. Couldn't get any food- not sure which genius decided to put the order station right in front of the entrance so there is no room for a line. Of course, the line wouldn't be such an issue if they could have more than one register open during dinner time. I stood in line for 30 minutes and didn't move a single step because people kept stepping right in and the cashier kept throwing her hands up and leaving. Decided to say "screw it" like the cashier apparently kept saying and took my nephew to Round Table instead. Today, I have tried calling three times to locate a card that we left there, but nobody picks up- the line keeps ringing for about 3 minutes then hangs up on me. Guess I'm going to have to brave the dumb place again to physically go down there since not a single person can be bothered to pick up the phone. I will definitely not be coming back, and I don't wish this nightmare on anyone else. read more
