This is an excellent outdoor space to enjoy the trees, the ponds, the ducks, and the trails. It's so peaceful to walk along the Truckee River, too; the sound of water is quite relaxing. There are 49 acres total at this community park, which also features a swimming pool, playgrounds, a skate park, picnic tables, bbq area, volleyball courts, baseball fields, and public restrooms. I was here early enough to witness the sunrise, too--gorgeous. This is a great space in Reno!

The playground is unique and offers a lot to play on. Wood chips are underneath the playground. There are swings and toddler swings at this park. AMENITIES: Barbecue, basketball court, pathways, picnic shelter, playgrounds, tables/benches, and year-round restrooms. You need bathrooms on the other side of the park also. Atmosphere - Part of the 1962 acre master community. 8 acres put aside for this park. Open space, wetland, etc. Service - N/A, self service. Price - Free. Owner Suggestion - Thank you for such a nice park, but can I suggest more shade? And another set of bathrooms on the other side of the park.

We used to bring my kiddos to this park a when they were little. There's a good amount of shade, ample parking, There are restroom facilities with bright night lighting. A large stretch of grass and even a walking trail makes for some good stroller cruisin'! I'd say a highlight to this park is the awesome view and location. We paid $250 for the rental through the city of Reno. Just so you know, the power outlets DO NOT WORK. We used our vehicles for power outlets ;)

There were benches to sit at this park, but they had homeless people setting up camp on them. The park was mostly dirty with trash littered throughout. The lake is very pretty and I an envious of people that have homes with a view here. I am not really sure how the water is safe to fish for mostly trout in, but not safe to swim in. Hmmmm someone has some explaining to do. One the west side of the lake is a small grass park, picnic and play area. Surrounding trees offer a bit of relief from the sun.
