Our daughter had so much fun yesterday during Glow Hour, we returned tonight. Glow Hour happens on Fridays and Saturdays from 7-9p. Admission is $19 for two hours and grip socks are $3.50, if needed. The play area is pretty spacious, ranging from trampolines with obstacles, climbing slides, obstacle course, a swing to jump off, a high beam to swing and jump from, a zip line, a high beam knock down, dodge ball and other areas. Kids are able to jump around and run with space or make new friends to follow for the night. Parents are able to sit in the play area, after signing a waiver, to be closer to their little one. There is plenty of seating throughout. There is also seating below in the food court area of Defy. During the two hours, I went off for a bit to shop while my husband stayed behind. There are plenty of shops to explore especially with all the sales following the holiday season. Since it is an outlet/mall, there is plenty of parking on site. If/when you do visit, park near Scheels close to where you can see H&M from the parking lot. If you enter at this location, go straight and make a left onto the path. Once you pass the fireplace, there is a set of stairs. GO UPSTAIRS. Defy is there. We circled until we asked, signage to locate this place is not great. If you do get hungry there are plenty of places to eat within the outlet and shopping area, both driving and walking - depending on what you fancy. There is also the food court inside Defy, offering ICEE, fountain drinks, nachos, pretzels, pizza slices, popcorn and more. The prices are reasonable considering it's an attraction. We did our waivers and purchased our tickets and socks online, from their website, before visiting. You can also purchase at the counter and complete the waiver at a kiosk or by scanning the QR at the register. We downloaded the ticket to our Apple wallet and presented it at the register. read more

We come to DEFY almost every day during summer break and paid for regular days and even bring friends and they pay their regular fees. We've brought so many guests to support this establishment. I paid memberships for 2 children and have one on automatic monthly membership. We've supported DEFY all summer with our regular visits and have never had an issue until today. Those ladies know us already and every time, I never had ANY issues. The website clearly states that kids 6 and under are free, yet the staff up front told me I needed to pay for my 5-year-old. This is very frustrating and misleading, especially for loyal members who come here so often. If your policy has changed, update your website so families aren't caught off guard. read more

I have been paying for a membership for two years, don't do it! If you come on a Friday night or Saturday night during glow jump they tell you that it is an hour and a half wait for food and it's only for two hours. Rip off and employees just don't care. It's a good spot for the kids. Mine are 12, 9 and 6 and they all had a good time. They get to run free and experience all the different climbing devices. With a membership you get 30% off the cafe which is awesome cuz my kids deff be eating. Membership seems worth it when you have multiple children. Only problem I had was parents not watching or paying any attention to their kids. Only because I had to speak to a older boy about pushing and picking on the little 6 year old girl I brought. The parent was pretty close by so I'm not sure if she didn't see it or what but that's deff something to pay attention to. A review from an athlete: Pretty good. You can do all of your basic tricks in here without any real issue and even send some big ones, and it seems to be the only real place in reno to do it which is great. However if you are planning on doing Trampwall, you should either get used to socks or take the drive to woodward or LVCC, because there's NOWHERE in reno that will let you use shoes, and they will be removing the wall in the coming months anyways, so get some good training in while you can. Great staff, good food, good vibes. Better than other trampoline parks, but don't put your money on it being anything extraordinary like big circus centers and other big parks. Compared to some other DEFY's it lacks in places, like the quality of the springs. But if you're just looking to send some tricks, this is the place to do it as there's airbags, super tramps, and bounce tracks as well, though do be careful of kids running past you. We've been DEFY fans for a long time now, and this year, we decided to hold my kids' bday party here. Booking online made it easy and convenient! The party was on a Saturday so it was BUSY, but a dedicated check in station for bday guests made it a little better! They offer a large locker for party guests shoes & belongings that they store until it's your party time. Our party host Curtis actually moved our coats & shoes & gifts to the party room for us! The room was set up and Curtis was friendly & attentive. All the supplies we needed were included. Plates, utensils, cups and table cloths come with the party room set up, so does clean up! They run parties smoothly and efficiently here, without hassles or any attitude. The entire staff here makes you feel like a VIP! At a place where the majority of the staff are older teens/young adults, they are kind and friendly to the kids, and always have a great attitude and a smile on their faces. We had a great day, and a stress-free birthday party and my kids and their guests and even the guest's parents could enjoy. JUMP FOR AN HOUR AND NAP FOR THREE! I was very hesitant about coming here as my 2-year-old slipped and broke her leg at home a couple months ago. The mall's elevators were down so we ended up having to carry the kids strollers up the staircase which was a little inconvenient but didn't mind. If it's your first time, expect to complete waivers which might take a few minutes depending on how many people are in your party. What I liked most about this place was that they have seating in the jump area, which parents could sit and watch for FREE. I couldn't jump with my daughter for medical reasons, so it was nice to still feel like I was included in the fun. Having had some time to reflect on our visit to Defy, I am now prepared to share my review. On Sunday, the 18th, we celebrated my daughter's 12th birthday at Defy with the Silver birthday package priced at $270. It's not a bad price at all! Upon our arrival, we approached the check-in area with the expectation of having a designated room or table for parents to relax and mingle while the children enjoyed jumping. To our surprise, we discovered that our jumping session began immediately, leaving us confused as we waited for directions to our room. After 15 minutes of uncertainty, I approached the party host to inquire about the room allocation, only to learn that it would be available after the jumping session. This lack of clarity left parents scrambling to find seating while remaining close to the group, resulting in a somewhat chaotic situation. Despite the initial confusion, we eventually entered the room at 4:15 pm, though we were scheduled for 4 pm slot. The party host did an exceptional job preparing the room, and by 4:55 pm, we were hurriedly ushered out, leaving us with a mere 45 minutes for mealtime and cake cutting, with no opportunity to open presents within that timeframe. It was disappointing to realize that there were no subsequent parties booked after ours, making the rush seem unnecessary. Overall, our experience was marred by disorganization and a lack of effective communication. Regrettably, based on our experience, I find it challenging to recommend Defy for birthday parties. It's important to add that it was extremely busy. I am sure that staff was overwhelmed and that contributed to lack of communication because there were so many people they had to talk with as well. Which is why I am still giving them a 4 star. I have nothing bad to say about Defy in general, I'm just disappointed in the birthday experience. read more

My family and I have been to several jump places and this is by far the best for many reasons! -friendly and kind staff (cashiers,owner, manager, and the people on the floor helping customers have fun) -good music -free mini lockers (plenty of them too) -seating areas throughout the facility (on and off the floor) -very clean facility -nice bathrooms -fresh atmosphere, not stuffy -easy waiver sign-in with the 3 kiosks (BUT YOU CAN COMPLETE ONLINE OR ON YOUR PHONE) -seriously so much to do... think ninja warrior mixed with other jump facility amenities. There isn't a laser tag or arcade there, but with all this fun stuff, you really don't need it! -they have a stylish sock selection (you need the grippy ones, but I'm not sure if you need their kind or can bring your own, but they are only $3.) As we left the owner was walking in and asked how everything went and we told him we'd be back because of all of the above reasons, but mostly the friendly staff! The first trampoline/amusement center we introduced our tot to. Hubby and I planned on doing some shopping at Scheels then bringing our son to jump around and burn some energy while we waited for his older two siblings to get out of school. I always loved trampolines as kid and what a workout as an adult. We wanted to see if our son was even interested before enrolling him in a tot gymnastics class. We came in during the week, I believe it was a Thursday afternoon. There was only a few other kids in the whole place with their grandparents. We couldn't have picked a better day to visit. I think we had more fun then our son, but he was trying to get the concept of jumping and getting used to flying that high in the air. I think he did great his first go around and fast forward he loved trampoline the most in his gymnastics class. We were looking for somewhere to have this little guys birthday where we could entertain kids of all ages. We do have teens at home too. I feel Defy is aimed at younger kids, (Preteen and younger) but for the price you can't really beat it. We brought our older two when Defy first opened and they loved it then, but preferred Fly high or Urban air because there is more to do. I know the ability to bring our son on his intitial visit when you were quiet helped our son build his confidence in jumping on a trampoline. Now this kid is a stud and tries to do crazy flips. Customer service was just fine. The waiver process was a pain in the you know what. Fair prices for the jump and non slip socks. 4 stars was for the sticky floors and icky restrooms. I wish there were healthier snack options and that service at the snack counter was existent. The same girl that took payment had to do whatever it is that she does then came over to the snack counter to get our son's icy. read more

I was so proud of my youngest grandson who came to let me know another boy was crying--he was special needs and a much bigger kid had knocked him down. He went on to play with the boy in another "pit" until he seemed to feel better. This place is a rip off. Had my nephews birthday party here. We were given a "party host" who not once checked on us. The kids were given 30 minutes to jump. And we were told the kids could jump for an hour. Then we were told after they ate their sandwiches they weren't allowed to jump again, after the fact. Nice open floor plan so you can see everything, great natural light and so many fun activities for the kids... zip lines, balance beams, slack lining, aerial silks, a dodgeball arena, lots of different types of trampolines and tumbling area etc. All ages! Pros: The facility is epic. The staff is so caring and very well trained. Even though they are young, they all go above and beyond to really make sure that your kids are safe and having a great time, and are very helpful and respectful. So happy we found this place, we ended up getting the monthly membership. Cons: The only bad thing I would say is that the air freshener is mega overpowering. The second you walk through the door it is borderline offensive and after a couple hours jumping you'll feel it in your throat. Wish they would use something more natural. I visited here , a few days ago, upon entrance the place looks very interesting and modern , it's a trampoline park , it has a variety of activities to do . The staff was very attentive and kind and when we asked them questions they answered politely the place it self is very interesting and it has like 6 foam pits for landing from the zip lines and trampolines . I took my 3 1/2 year old daughter to Devy last weekend and she had an absolute blast! There's so much to do and explore that you'll likely never get bored. They make it super easy to fill out a waiver at one of the three self serve kiosks and there are a few different amount of jump times available (60 min, 90 min, etc). A small food service counter offers snacks, soda and pizza, perfect for a quick bite to eat after jumping. Free lockers are available to house your belongings while you're out jumping and playing. We like to go to Defy for the 1-2 pm little kid jumping hour on weekdays. It's perfect for our toddlers because it's not super busy, there are no big kids running around, and they get to meet other "friends" their age. The kids jump free with a paid adult. If you don't want to jump, you can be an "observer." There are plenty of couches spread around the place. The staff varies--some are more strict about the one jumper only rule for the far left trampolines against the wall. However, most have been friendly. The place isn't the cleanest--the last time we were there it looked like the floor could use a sweep and cleaning. But at least Defy doesn't smell as bad as other jumping places! Overall, it's a good place for us to visit about once a month or so. read more

We just had a birthday party here for our 10 year old son -- when you're paying a lot for the party, food, entry etc. there is a lot that can go wrong with the wrong kind of staff -- but our experience here was the opposite. The staff was friendly from beginning to end and well accommodating and happy to help as things came up. I would have a party here again and I would recommend it to others. Second time at DEFY today, this time as a guest of a birthday party. Previously I hosted a party here, never having been, and was blown away at the difference from other local party spots. First, DEFY's counter area is well organized, with lines for party guests versus regular guests. When checking in for a party the have a rolling cage meant for gifts and party supplies that you may have brought, which can be easily moved to the room once everyone has arrived. They have food offerings you can order, or allow you to bring your own food in and will refrigerate it for you. Parties have a one hour jump time and then one hour room time. This simple setup allows for party hosts to actually spend time with their kids during the jump hour. My favorite part of DEFY is how open the play areas are. Standing in the center, I had good visibility in the majority of the kids from the party, and since they don't play the music so loud, you could also clearly hear what kids are saying. Beyond the party areas, I appreciate that every employee was polite and helpful, actively watching the kids, and checking in with the hosts during our party room time to see if we needed anything else. It makes for a stress free kids birthday party and a great time. read more

We were invited to a birthday party at Defy and we all had a blast. The party rooms are perfectly sized, they got over an hour of jump time and then returned for party fun. The check in process went seamlessly, and even though I was a little apprehensive visiting during COVID times you could tell they were doing their very best to clean high frequency areas.
