Sinking baby

It's a good spot for the kids. Mine are 12, 9 and 6 and they all had a good time. They get to run free and experience all the different climbing devices. With a membership you get 30% off the cafe which is awesome cuz my kids deff be eating. Membership seems worth it when you have multiple children. Only problem I had was parents not watching or paying any attention to their kids. Only because I had to speak to a older boy about pushing and picking on the little 6 year old girl I brought. The parent was pretty close by so I'm not sure if she didn't see it or what but that's deff something to pay attention to. My girlfriends little 6 year old boy also had a child spit on him.

Fright Flight night was so much fun! The kids all loved the characters and had a blast with them jumping and dancing. The staff was really helpful and attentive when it came to placing food orders and just engaging with the kids over all.

Taylor Swift Glow night. Even the boys liked it.

I love this place, especially in the summer. The kids get a great work out and there is A/C, WIFI, and great music! Very clean and safe. We have the membership and make good use of it!

JUMP FOR AN HOUR AND NAP FOR THREE! I was very hesitant about coming here as my 2-year-old slipped and broke her leg at home a couple months ago. The mall's elevators were down so we ended up having to carry the kids strollers up the staircase which was a little inconvenient but didn't mind. If it's your first time, expect to complete waivers which might take a few minutes depending on how many people are in your party. What I liked most about this place was that they have seating in the jump area, which parents could sit and watch for FREE. I couldn't jump with my daughter for medical reasons, so it was nice to still feel like I was included in the fun. The allotted time is 90 minutes but the kids only made it to 60 and were ready for a nap.

Birthday cake my friend made

Having had some time to reflect on our visit to Defy, I am now prepared to share my review. On Sunday, the 18th, we celebrated my daughter's 12th birthday at Defy with the Silver birthday package priced at $270. It's not a bad price at all! Upon our arrival, we approached the check-in area with the expectation of having a designated room or table for parents to relax and mingle while the children enjoyed jumping. To our surprise, we discovered that our jumping session began immediately, leaving us confused as we waited for directions to our room. After 15 minutes of uncertainty, I approached the party host to inquire about the room allocation, only to learn that it would be available after the jumping session. This lack of clarity left parents scrambling to find seating while remaining close to the group, resulting in a somewhat chaotic situation. Despite the initial confusion, we eventually entered the room at 4:15 pm, though we were scheduled for 4 pm slot. The party host did an exceptional job preparing the room, and by 4:55 pm, we were hurriedly ushered out, leaving us with a mere 45 minutes for mealtime and cake cutting, with no opportunity to open presents within that timeframe. It was disappointing to realize that there were no subsequent parties booked after ours, making the rush seem unnecessary. Overall, our experience was marred by disorganization and a lack of effective communication. Regrettably, based on our experience, I find it challenging to recommend Defy for birthday parties. It's important to add that it was extremely busy. I am sure that staff was overwhelmed and that contributed to lack of communication because there were so many people they had to talk with as well. Which is why I am still giving them a 4 star. I have nothing bad to say about Defy in general, I'm just disappointed in the birthday experience.

Great fun for all ages! As a grand parent, I appreciate that they do NOT have an arcade, aka money pit! I was so proud of my youngest grandson who came to let me know another boy was crying--he was special needs and a much bigger kid had knocked him down. He went on to play with the boy in another "pit" until he seemed to feel better. My only caveat for this place is to be sure your littles or special needs kids have someone watching out for them, staff is more interested in being sure jumpers leave when they are supposed to!

Ask the Community - Defy

It appears there is no arcade here, a plus in my book, is that correct?

You are correct in that we do not have an arcade. We want kids and adults to be able to participate in fun, healthy and active entertainment. We love having family and friends create meaningful memories at Defy.

If the parents aren't going to be on the trampolines, do they still need to buy a pass to be inside and watch their kids?

No you do not

We visited Fly High today for our son's birthday party. I feel like the value of a birthday party…read moreand the overall experience were good, but I also feel that many pieces of my original review are still relevant. I think my experience was better than the first time, and if I could give 3.5 stars, I would. I am feeling generous and going up from 3 stars to 4 stars. Let's start with the negatives. This place is still dirty and still chaotic. When we arrived at 10 am, it was ok. By noon, there were far too many people, and the chaos ensued, once again due to the lack of adequate staffing and/or young employees who don't enforce rules. I am also concerned about the upkeep and quality of the facility. Many areas were closed, and there was padding falling off things. I am very worried about safety being a second thought here. The birthday party experience was pretty good. They had a table set up for us before we arrived, and there was plenty of room for our group to spread out. It's about $120 to reserve a table, and then they charge you per jumper. You can bring your own food or have themprovide food for an extra cost. Being able to bring some nutritious snacks for our son's friends is a huge plus. Overall, the kids had an absolute blast, and for around $230 total for 2 hours of jump time and a dedicated party table, it was a decent value. I think my once-a-year-ish visit will still be the way to go, and maybe it's time to start thinking about visiting some other trampoline parks.

Our Favorite Trampoline Spot!…read more Fly High Reno has been one of our family's go-to places for years -- it's fun, safe, and works well for all ages, starting from toddlers to bigger kids. What I really appreciate is the open layout -- it's bright, not dark or overwhelming like some other indoor parks. I can easily keep an eye on where my child is at all times, which gives great peace of mind. They have: A safe, designated area for little ones Tons of variety in jumping zones An awesome air obstacle course And lots of space to roam and explore This place is extremely popular for birthday parties -- on weekends, the front tables are almost always fully booked. It's a great atmosphere with happy kids everywhere. You'll find that most of the staff are teens, and they do a solid job keeping things moving. You'll need to sign a digital waiver on-site (on the iPads near the ticket window), which is quick and easy if you already have an account set up. Another bonus? Massage chairs for parents! For just a few bucks, you can sit back and relax while your kids bounce around. This is our usual go-to spot to meet up with friends and let the kids burn off some energy. Highly recommend Fly High if you're looking for active indoor fun in Reno!

This place has been amazing!…read more We have been coming to Jump n Shout pre-COVID for their Saturday bounce house days. It was cheap, fun, and a good way to get out a ton of energy! Recently, we signed up for 6 weeks of preschool tumbling. I'm so glad we did! My daughter's coach (I SWEAR I will update the review when I remember her name) has been so good with her. We came in with absolutely no gym/gymnastics/tumbling experience whatsoever and it has never been an issue! Her coach is patient yet persistent. She really works with the kiddos on form and technique while making sure they're still having a good time! She is always very honest and open about my daughter's progress and things to work on at home. The front desk staff is also awesome! I love that the parents get to be so close, even if we are in another room. Our kiddos can still see us just beyond the window. We got a deal online for 6 weeks of classes, but I'm sure we will keep coming here beyond those 6 weeks. It's such a good environment for kids of all ages!

When four of your eight athletes' parents tell you that they are going to quit cheer unless they can find another gym, it's time to talk... It was after that that I personally started seeing the issues and then agreed to leave with the rest of them. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. There were a lot of issues with our particular team this last year (which was my son's third season with the team). Although our main coach was on maternity leave for most of the season, I do not personally see most of the issues being because of her. It was more to do with three other people (two of which usually have nothing to do with our team anyway). It seems to me that we were just buffered sufficiently when we had a head coach actively with our team. As for the cheer program as a whole, I still believe that they provide a good program. In particular to us: Coach Emily, Coach Lauryn, and Coach (Mr) Randy B were always supportive of my son and our family and I miss them. It is just that in many ways our team was left out of a lot all gym events, etc and we didn't have the support that we used to have especially when it came to fundraising. There were several issues around fundraising that I don't think all in the program knew about, so I don't hold all responsible. Suffice it to say that we did not have access to all of our funds we raised (not even credited to our tuition like we were told...), planning other events on our main fundraising date (said our first date was no longer available because of a competition going to be held there and then next thing you know they planned a similar event on our date instead, then had a big issue where we were not going to be able to set up for our big event until the actual time it was to begin (told less than a week before, but then it miraculously and thankfully was canceled... we think because someone realized that this was going too far with a team who was already really discouraged by the lack of support we were getting), and not helping advertise until a day or two ahead of time (even though I repeatedly asked maybe the wrong coach....) and then when it was sent out it had the wrong date. I believe that they have the potential to once again have a solid special athletes' team, but they need to address these issues. Like I said, though, I can still recommend them if you are not needing a special needs team. My suggestion is to check out at least this one and the other larger gym in town and see where you fit in the best.

We also had another friend put their daughter on the waitlist so we decided to do the same to ensure we could join in the same tumble bees class. After 1 month of being on the waitlist, we were offered a spot! We gladly accepted the offer and enrolled for the following week. The very first class was a trial class to see if it was a good fit for our daughter, which it was! Coach Grace is very supportive and patient with the little ones. She has such a calm presence and her voice is direct for the kids to pay attention. She ensures she spends time with the kids to make sure they understand their station and will teach them safe practices. The class is offers structure which helps develop listening skills for the little ones. The session we have is around the same time as another tumblebees class so it is pretty busy but the 2 classes are very organized so the kids aren't running into each other. At the end of the class you can see the coaches cleaning all the stations and even will give the kids hand sanitizer along with a coloring page, a sticker, and a stamp. Our daughter has been in the class for about 2 months and always looks forward to her class!
