We have been interested in having our 4 year old join ever since our good friend enrolled her daughter. We also had another friend put their daughter on the waitlist so we decided to do the same to ensure we could join in the same tumble bees class. After 1 month of being on the waitlist, we were offered a spot! We gladly accepted the offer and enrolled for the following week. The very first class was a trial class to see if it was a good fit for our daughter, which it was! Coach Grace is very supportive and patient with the little ones. She has such a calm presence and her voice is direct for the kids to pay attention. She ensures she spends time with the kids to make sure they understand their station and will teach them safe practices. The class is offers structure which helps develop listening skills for the little ones. The session we have is around the same time as another tumblebees class so it is pretty busy but the 2 classes are very organized so the kids aren't running into each other. At the end of the class you can see the coaches cleaning all the stations and even will give the kids hand sanitizer along with a coloring page, a sticker, and a stamp. My 4 year old has been taking classes here for about a year. She LOVES it and has improved so much in balance, coordination and listening skills. For months I questioned if gymnastics would be the right fit for my 7 year old daughter. I know nothing about gymnastics other than amazing athletes who can do amazing things I can't. My daughter takes gymnastics lessons here. They are perfect and so much fun for her. In her age group class, its just 40 minutes once per week. This gives her something to look forward to and a way to burn some of her gobs of energy. But it also isn't took long to where the kids start getting disinterested. The coaches are nice and friendly, and seem to keep the kids safe planning activities that are age appropriate and things they are capable of. The circuit is different every month. I think that's great because it keeps the kids interested and learning new skills. Also they do different themes for the circuits. If you miss a class you're able to make it up any Saturday within 30 days. The facility offers camps and parents night out activities. Definitely recommend! read more

Our two youngest started here almost a year ago. They started in the youngest class - parent-and-me and the next level up at the same time. Our daughter recently moved up to the "big girl" room where parents watch from the window. We have been so impressed with Coach Bryce in particular. There is a remarkable woman, Susan Stewart, who opens the Reno Nevada Gymnastics every morning. She is always friendly and professional. She goes out of her way to help anyway she can to keep the clients satisfied. One morning i wanted to buy a cup of the Keurig coffee. There were no cups so she went to the storage room and got some. My 3 year old daughter has been attending the Busy Bees class for almost a year and half and recently we have become VERY disappointed in the way the classes are being run. We have new/rotating coaches nearly weekly, most of whom seem very overwhelmed by the number of students in the classes as well as behaviors. A few weeks ago our class doubled in size (6 kids to 11 or 12 kids) and a second coach was added. This many preschoolers in one class is far too many. Several of us have expressed our concerns and disapproval to management, but nothing has changed. The staff member I spoke with told me that waitlists were getting really full so they decided to double the class size to clear out the waitlists- NOT the right choice for the kids or families. If you would have asked me 6 months ago, I would have given a 5 star review, but today it's a very different story. We'll be changing gyms ASAP! read more

They have a great toddler program for kids under 3 years old. The coaches do a great job of staying engaged with a huge group of little little kids. They mixed up the stations every other week. And it's great for the parents who get to be out on the mats with their kids. It's much more than an hour at the playground the kids get a lot of instruction basic basic skill building. read more

Okay, so coach Bill let me know that the two days a week once you got to blue belt was a rumor that was circulating around. It did bump up to 2 hours a week, but that part is fine. Plus I was impressed that they didn't have a lot of spots open in the blue belt class, but that they opened a new blue belt class to help accomodate that. read more

For several months they could not teach my son to do cartwheel. Seriously. I called today to cancel his membership, a rude arguer name Amanda, told me I could only request in person or writing. Now I am cancelling both kids. Talked to me like I owe them for paying them money to do nothing. What a waste. Not a good place if you want your kids to advance or be noticed or cared for. read more

We had a really bad experience at the Reno gym. There is a lack of communication and mismanagement among the coaches and parents/kids. After over a year of gymnastics here, we left and would never refer anyone here. In our experience, as soon as the coaches discovered we were not interested in going "team/competitive" there was a lack of attention to our children in their progress and skill development. At that point, we started to notice a lack in attention and skill building to the girls and after 3 months of trying to work with the coaches and "find out more of what to work on" we finally pulled our kiddos out when we realized the coaches weren't interested in skill building these kids that weren't going team and we were being told mixed information depending which coach happened to be teaching that night, as to the progress of our kids. At the end, the kids were confused and unsure as stars were being given to the kids for obtaining a skill and then later, those same stars were taken away by a different coach because "they hadn't tested the kids". It was a huge cluster of misinformation and an unfair way for 7/8 year old girls to be treated who were working so hard to obtain their skills.
