I can't believe the last time we took the kids to this Chuck E Cheese was in 2008 and that was to celebrate our oldest son's 6th birthday. Saturday we had a birthday party to attend. It's summer so obviously it was BUSY. Lots of kids, parents and teenagers. The food is still the same. I like Chuck E Cheese pizza. But the crowd has gotten GHETTO. There were people smoking outside and some rude parents with no consideration for little kids. My son Evan wanted to ride the monster truck. I told him to wait his turn. He waited 3+ times while the parents with their toddler hogged it and took pictures. After awhile Evan got mad and said loudly "it's MY turn now mommy. They won't get off". I took the high road and told him "let's go find something else to do". That's sad to me. We don't let our kids ride anything more than once if there's a line :\ Hubby already said we won't be returning unless for a birthday party. We'll find other places to take our kids for some fun minus the ghettoness. read more

I sure hope so as there were tons of kids sneezing and coughing everywhere! Just left my daughters 8th bday. I paid for the highest party for 4 kids and was totally neglected. There were 2 other parties going and the following list is all that happened. I think I was neglected because we had the least amount of kids and spending the least amount of money. I was appalled and disgusted by the treatment we received. I asked for a full refund and didn't get it. Party at 11am, didn't open until 11am. 11:15 was told one host for 2 parties 11:22 still don't have tokens Name spelled wrong on photo cutout 11:30 got tokens 11:08 just got to table 1 party assistant for 3 parties Cake gunk on paper plates 11:30 no princess cape Didn't announce her name during chuck e cheese show along with one other party Host not engaging with birthday girl 12:32 no piñata 12:38 never got cape Girl shirt kept coming up while leading celebration. Didn't clear our table Only focused on on one table Host was checking phone during celebration and talking on microphone 1245 no piñata I did get a refund for no piñata and no cape and tiara. Worst part was the end. The girl cleaning my table was not waiting for us to grab our things. I asked her if she could wait until we were done. She Grabbed the black platter holding my pizza and THREW my pizza on the already dirty table. She never asked me if I wanted to keep or if I wanted a box. Was bamboozled on Door Dash because they used a fake name (Pasquale's Pizza) when it's really Chuck E Cheese. Pizza was horrible. They are better off using frozen Tombstones for their pizza. Keep it real and you wouldn't receive a bad review. If I could give less stars I would because my kids didn't even like the pizza. Wowwwwwie, coming to this location makes me reevaluate my entire childhood and realize the innocence of my youth. I've had great memories here as a kid, buckets full of tokens, pizza parties, etc. Coming back and seeing how much this place changed honestly makes me sad at how much this location has changed since I last was here. (And not necessarily for the better.) I came here to take my brother and sister here for their birthdays, and my first reaction upon walking in is WOW, it's COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from when I used to come as a kid. The games are a lot different then when I remembered it as well, they upgraded to a few more modern games as well, such as Fruit Ninja, Guitar Hero, and Temple Run. The games themselves are enjoyable, though if you're expecting to win a lot of tickets and redeem them for something huge, I would reconsider that thought. I feel like if anything the price to prize ratio is completely ridiculous. At the redeeming table, 100 tickets is about the worth of a dollar, and big ticket items (really small stuffed animals) are about 1,500 tickets, or $15, which is absolutely ridiculous. Most games let you win 5-10 tickets at most per game unless you try for one of those higher chance games, like the ball drop or the Big Spin game, but the odds are still rare at best. I'll admit I even enjoyed playing skeeball in the back as well, hehe. I would avoid the building block balancing game just because I'm pretty sure they've never sanitized the controller and you'll be left with the residue of kids' grubby pizza grease hands all over your hands. Am I the only one that thinks that they don't sanitize any of the games...? Definitely bring some sanitizing wipes after or wash your hands after playing, the oil residue is disgusting. The pizza is a grease ball. When you get your pizza it's soaked in oil and tastes like tough cardboard. I may not be a pizza connosiour but I'm pretty sure a good pizza shouldn't be coated in a super thick layer of obvious oily grease. No wonder the salad bar is in the back to help balance it out. There isn't much variety in that, either. When redeeming our prizes, my brother and sister stood at the counter for over 10-15 minutes deciding on what they wanted. The guy working over the counter seemed pretty impatient the longer they stood there and seemed very irate. I couldn't really blame him for his impatience because we did stand there for awhile, but it made me feel really uncomfortable at him staring my siblings and I down deciding what we wanted. Overall all of my siblings (6, 10, and surprisingly even my 13 year old brother) really enjoyed coming here. If you want your kids (from 5-10) to have a great time, this is an okay place to take them. I would highly recommend looking up coupons on their website first though, for better deals, as has gotten pricier over time. Also if you want free tokens go & download the app & play the game, you can get 1,000 free tickets, which is way better and much more worth it then trying to win the tokens by game instead! Oh my what can I say about this establishment. OK so i came here because my friends sister was in town on vacation. We took her kids there it was packed. In our party there was four adults & three kids. We found a table, ordered our food. Then of course the kids went to play this one particular kid that day was out stealing kids tokens & just being a nuisance!!! No parent or guardian around looking after this kid or kids. I don't know if it was just this particular day or the crowd is just normally like this. Well I don't think I'd be back unless I have to. Well....you know...what can I say. Really. It's Chuck E. Cheese. Back in my days, it was theee place to be. As a kid, I loved the games, the pizza, and Chuck E! Now, today, as an adult, I find the place ghetto. HOWEVER, that will not stop us from coming here; the kids and I do have a little hood in us (well, very, very, very little hood...more like a smidget, or a speck). My children love coming here for birthday parties. And why would they not?! They get to be with friends, eat pizza, play games, win prizes...it's a win/win situation! As a parent hosting a party, it is awesome as well. The party packages are cheap, you come, you go, it's that easy! The hosts/hostesses are nice, upbeat, and they cater to your needs. I like their security system where everyone gets stamped before coming in and no one can leave without the stamp getting checked (adults/kids to match). I wish the place was cleaner though. This is the saddest Chuck E Cheese! I went there with my daughter and found 6-7 machines busted, a few with no more tokens! Worst, with whatever games that were left, we won some tickets and to our pleasure (dismay), all but one ticket redemption machine was working. To make it more fun, the manager didn't give a s**t and said the game guy is off today and they can't do anything. All I have to do is wait in line for redeeming my tickets. AWEFUL EXPERIENCE! Celebrated my son's 8th birthday here. He and his friends had a blast with the arcade games and didn't even want to eat pizza! The location is clean and has gotten a fresh coat of paint so everything looks new. I've taken a star away because I noticed our hostess was doing the bare minimum while the hostess for another party going on was on top of everything and made sure the other birthday boy's name was announced during the birthday song and dance with Chuckee, had a cake knife ready to go etc. For parents like us who are celebrating their kids birthday for the first time at Chuckee , it would be great if the hostess would introduce herself and let the host parents know what to expect and when. Overall, my kid and his friends had a lot of fun, the ticket blaster was cool, so I'd definitely celebrate his birthday there again next year if he wishes to. read more

I am writing a review to one of the employees who I saw going out of his way for customers. His name is Paul. Although no super energetic greet at the door, he made sure to stamp all family members. Then I noticed him cleaning off the tables and asking customers if he can grab whatever and throw in the trash. My younger sister had money that got stuck and she didn't get a card, I quickly asked for help and politely told me, let me check these customers in and I will help you after. 1) I am so happy he said that instead of ignoring me 2) He came by as he said, found the problem and said I will get you a new card, let me know where you are sitting. 3) As we got the card, he was very generous to walk over and let us know everything was taken care of. He truly is a hard-working kid there and deserves the praises that I am giving. We haven't been here in a while so we expected to look like before but they have really cleaned it up and made it more friendly. This review is for the manager. I daughter redeemed a gyro with 2000 tickets. When we were back home and opened it, we found it didn't work. I went to the store and asked for an exchange or refund, the manager said their policy is to notify them the issue once we get the toy in the store...what makes me not happy is the Manager's attitude toward customer. The staff is AMAZING in this location and let me tell you, they will make sure that you and your guests are having a GREAT time! They are very helpful and accommodating and they truly understand that you are trying to make sure that your LO is having a good time. The games were good and yes a few were out of service, but that's to be expected and honestly not that big of a deal when there's 50 other things to play on. Pizzas are pretty awesome too and they were delicious! You have to get their cinna sticks, yummmmm! They are a bit pricey but you are paying for the experience. I like that they have started the unlimited time slot instead of the tokens. That way you don't loose the tokens! Or take it home, "hoping" you can remember to bring them on your next visit. We come here all the time and the staff is great and excellent today though they had a full house and Young man dressed up in Chucky cheese costume who was awesome said hi to every client, pose for pictures made all the kids feel awesome everyone in the restaurant was very happy!!! Came here with my friend and our children, pretty much spent the whole day here, despite some of the Chuck E. Cheese's that I've been to this is really one the best! Super clean, staff walking around every minute sanitizing everywhere, great tables near the entrance so you can see & watch out for your kids. Salad bar is really decent & clean, kids love the pizza & games! We orders two small cakes even though we weren't celebrating a birthday lol! Which yes they were still frozen, but Managment handled it more than well. We let them know that, hey these cakes are still frozen & being said that we ordered one chocolate & one vanilla they apologize & literally gave us 2 full sheet cakes of each flavor!!! We thought they were giving us one full sheet for 2 small cakes & they said no you guys ordered 2 cakes different flavors so we are giving you both a full sheet of each flavor. I just went to my cousins party yesterday and this place was slammed. All tables were full, there were different ethnic backgrounds having parties, and the service was great. First off, the place is a bit small but the games were off top. I liked bowling, throwing the footballs, shooting hoops, taking pics with the family, and nesting the tickets to see how much I've got haha. Anyway, the pizza was actually hella good. My cousin ordered 15 pizzas, wings, nuggets, sodas, and others stuff. The pizza was crispy and good tasting. It's better than little Cesar's and dominos. The wings tasted like safeways hot wings which I like. Our server or host (Zawab) was excellent. He was on point with service, he had fun with us, and he even taught me how to play the ticket machine catcher haha. Some of the crowds were ratchet too. At 6:30 on a Wednesday night it's dead. I could literally count on one hand when we showed up how many people were there. There are more employees cleaning then there are kids playing games. No bigger kids running around causing trouble. No waiting for a game. Super clean, the service was fast, low noise levels and even with such a limited crowd the giant mouse is walking around and giving the kids high fives. Brought my little cousins who came from LA disappointed! 1.Most of the machines were either not working or froze while playing leaving u w no tickets or stealing your points. Staff did end up giving us the tickets but we had to wait around not worth it! 2. Ordered pizza/ they gave us a extra extra crusty pizza it tasted bad they re did it for us. 3. Their bathroom doors don't completely close and all of them except one had no seat covers n no no paper towels to dry hands. 4. Short staff therefore we wasted a lot of time waiting around. Ignore the bad reviews, they are mostly old from before the remodel and prior to new management. I am a mother of two boys, we live in Hayward but totally prefer to come to this location because it's much cleaner and safer in my opinion for the kids. We have been to this location several times now and always receive stellar customer service from the manager Joey, he is always so full of life and extremely helpful. Today we threw a party here for my sons 4th bday and we requested Joey. He took great care of us from the moment we arrived. He helped us in placing food orders for the guests, serving the cake as well as games/activities for the little ones. Decorations, table setup, balloons, souvenir cups, pizza/wings/salads... It was so nice to be able to come here and receive such solid customer service which led to a fun successful party! Thank you Joey for creating such a great party for my family and friends! About 1/3 of the games is out of service and there's basically no customer service at all. I waited at the counter to get a to go box for my pizza and it took me a good 10 mins to get anyone's attention. There's was about 5-6 staff members who were clocking in and out and no one bothered to ask if I needed help. I was standing right in front of them at the counter and no one was helping me for a good 15 mins. I rather go back to the Tully Chuck E. Cheese than come here again. Only few employees and 1 cashier for packed playground. Inside the place also is so dirty, ano one cleaning the tables and floors. Wow! One of the worst place I've ever been. Two stars because my niece's reservation for a party was not well organized. The girl took way too long to set things up. From what I know, parties should be set up prior to guests and especially the celebrant, arriving! Food was alright, typical pizzas, wings, bread sticks - nothing too special. This location was extremely small compared to the other Chuck E Cheese's I've been to. It was a busy Saturday and there was a lot of crowding going on in each area. Game area wasn't too big and tickets wouldn't come out for some of the games. We had to call someone to retrieve our tickets. Thankfully, he gave us more than what we won! Shout out to him! You're the reason for the second star. Other than that, I would not come back to this location. It's way too small, kids get rowdy, and service is just not the best. I left this place today with a crying kid and seen many other children crying and angry parents. Once we got in there was one cashier open taking orders for food and providing play passes. Although there were a couple of people working management needs to make better calls as to how many people to schedule because the place was clearly understaffed. There were a couple of parties going on and the place overall was just super busy. Anway, we waited around 30-40 minutes just to order food. Didn't get ANY warning as to how long we were going to wait to actually get our food. I let my son know we were going to eat before we started playing arcade games, but didn't realize we would be waiting 3 hours + for our food! I would have let him go around and play games while we wait but he didn't want to play without company (me). Plus it was way too crowded. I didn't understand how there were so many toddlers running around without a parent within arms reach. Overall---we ended up getting a refund because the food took WAY too long and we were both starving. There were no parmesan/red chili shakers anywhere to be found or were empty. Trash was overflowing. Napkins were all out. The least they could have done was give out salad plates to EVERYONE who waited. We were ALL pissed off. And I can't tell you how many kids I heard whining that they were hungry (including mine who normally is VERY patient). I refuse to come back here on weekends ever again. Terrible service - we had to wait 1 hour for a simple pizza order. You have to wait on a table for food, and servers bring it out. I think they have only 2 servers for the whole place. Staff doesn't care at all. The place is also very dirty. I know kids will make a mess, but they dont care about cleaning the place anyway. Chuck E Cheese Do's and Don'ts: DO: - come on a weekday, less crowded, more time for the workers to spray down the games/booths/rides - come prepared with hand sanitizer and the mindset that your kids will be germing it up (and hopefully boosting their production of antibodies to aforementioned germs) - be aware that a reservation requires 24 hours notice - know that the party packages are not great - unless you just want a bunch of useless stuff, and you still need to pay for food SEPARATELY - know that the Chuck E Cheese mascot does come out even on weeknights to say hi to the kids - be aware that the little cups for tokens are re-used and some can be *very* dirty/sticky DON'T: - come on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Unless you like the feeling of chaos caused by ghetto fabulous moms and dads and their progenies - expect it to be like SuperFrank's. Its SOoOoO not. - get fixated on the "Ew, Ew Ew!" factor of this place...just look how much fun your kids are having, and just don't forget to hose them down later. : ) read more
