I took my two kids here today for a birthday party that started at 10:00 AM. It felt like we had the place to ourselves for the most part and it wasn't really busy when we left at 1:30 PM. When you get your tokens at the counter, check to make sure it dispenses the correct amount. Twice the count came up short. The mgr was fine with giving me the amount I paid for but there is always the "look". Count it in front of them. I ordered the $19.95 med pizza package, added one additional topping, total was $26. WTF! I asked the mgr, how much is one additional topping, he said $1.79. Somebody's math is bad, after explaining that the tax in Newark is NOT %20, the price came out to $23 and change. My granddaughters had a blast but the service there needs major upgrade! They are all young which is fine but someone needs to now customer service my issue was handled but not even a I'm sorry or I will speak with the employee. As for the employee when I tried to explain what the issue was she said no you didn't show me I said yes I did and went to show her she Walked away the other employee said she needed to get manager I said okay. This has got to be one of the better Chuck E. Cheese's I've been to. I like all the variety of the arcade games at this place, they also have a pinball machine which many other Chuck E. Cheese's do not. Another good thing about this place is that it has one of my favorite driving games of all time, its called Crusin USA. One day when I was here I played arcade games for an hour, we also came when they first opened in the morning so that way we had all the arcade games to our selves. The only bad thing about this place is that the prizes are not to interesting. I only come to this place for one reason, to have the best arcade experience ever. read more

I read the reviews but still wanted to give it a chance for my toddler son, since Chuck E Cheese was a childhood favorite. The cleanliness is horrible at this location - they just are too understaffed to keep the place cleaned. Could not find a clean table and when I asked if someone could clean a table, they were not responsive. I will say the pizza was tasty and I like the toddler area as my kid was having a great time with the games and rides that are age appropriate (ended up there for nearly 4 hours). But will not come back to this location given how bad it is kept. Management - DO SOMETHING to improve like hire one person to just clean the dining area. read more

Avoid this place when it is busy. I waited 1.5 hours for a personal pizza and wings. However I saw a steady steam of pizzas going to parties. It's clear what the priorities are here. We had our 3 year old birthday party here this weekend. The place is better than we expected and less crowded as compared to other locations. Alix, who helped us with the party was helpful and patient. There were some hiccups in the kitchen as the mgmt was not able to handle all orders in time, and but for Alix, we could have had issues. 3 stars for mgmt, 4 for Alix and may be 3.5 location (smaller as compared to other locations, but I guess newer too..) read more

We came in at 11:40 on a Sunday and they place was pretty empty. No lines for games and most were working. Big problem was the wait for our 1 personal pizza. It took 40 minutes to get the food. When the food arrived it was very hot so it wasn't sitting out waiting to be brought to us. Somehow it took 40minutes to cook this one pizza. That would be understandable if it was busy but there was 1 small party and not many others in here at the time. My kid was pretty irritated having to wait so long. Considering I came here for him it brought the fun level down having to wait for food so long. Birthday party here with a bunch of kids. The 'show' is great entertainment for the younger ones. A big complaint would be the servicing of the tickets that should be spitting out when you "win". ... a lot of the machines were out of tickets. read more

Always seems clean, food is quick to come out, never seems to have very long lines. I like they layout, they have some tables by the "bigger kids" section and one by the "littler kids" section, makes it easier to watch the kids play. O I also love that they have a salad bar. And they make birthday parties so easy; you can order everything from the cake to the little party favors and a foux piñata. The kids never want the party to be over. Usually the chuck e cheese parties that we are invited to come to this chuck e cheese over the one in the Hayward area. Just seems nicer than the latter that may be closer to the vicinity. read more

I had my daughter's party here a while back, and to explain the experience, I can use just one word, ex-cell-ent. The party host Jenny by far had the best customer service I have ever experienced. She knew how to give the kids a good time as well as get them to respect the environment. Too bad my ex wife had to ruin the party when she came in and took my daughter away. I only go to this location because it's closer to home. Two stars because of cleanliness. You can't always expect a lot from these type of places. My son loves this place but I wish they sanitize there machine and also vacuum. What is wrong with management not keeping it clean. First time to Chuck E Cheese and that is my last time. Drove 30 mins with my kids here on 5/23/2017 just checking the place out with kid since I got coupon for free pizza. After we arrived, their game credit machine was broken and also when I tried to redeem my pizza with coupon that expires 5/24/17, the cashier told me the promotion is over. Ended up my kid didn't get to play because the game credit machine was broken. Waste of my family time and it is a very dirty place. Don't come here. A gazillion running, screaming kids. It's paradise for the kiddies; they had a blast! I'm giving them 3-stars because quite a few of the machines were out of tickets or broken. When my daughter told me she didn't get her tickets (which is the holy grail for an 8-year-old), I got the manager who asked very rudely "how many tokens did she put in?" Uh, you're missing the point, dude; the game isn't giving the kids tickets. I enjoyed watching Chuck E. walking around through the restaurant will all the kids following him like the Pied Piper. At the end of the journey, Chuck E throws a bunch of loose tickets in the air and they rain down on the kids and it turns into a ticket-getting frenzy. The pizza is so-so, but the buffalo wings are HELLA good. Also, you can get beer or wine for $2.99, which is hella worth it because of all those damn screaming kids in the place. read more

Yesterday, we planned a fun n eventful mommy & son day. That quickly ended when we came into chuckee cheeses located in Newark. 30% of the machines were down, on top of that issue the 70% of machines that were working kept stealing our tokens. We didn't even get to use up 80% of the tokens we bought bc we were just not satisfied. So I took it upon myself to walk up to the customer service counter n ask one of the cashiers to cash in my tokens. He said "sorry we don't do that" (with an attitude n chuckled to himself. I said "oh really? Pls Let me speak to your manager" he walks around the corner n speaks with someone n comes right back n says "how much did u spend? We will give u a full refund" I said great, bc we've been here before n we never experienced anything like this. He gave me a full refund n I couldn't be any happier. We had our son's 5th birthday party at this brach set for 3-5pm, we got there at 2:40pm and the party before us was already over but they haven't cleaned up the tables yet. Since it wasn't 3pm yet, we didn't worry. 3pm came and they still haven't cleaned up the tables. They finally cleaned them at 3:30pm. When they got the tables set at 3:45, they told us that our food which was already pre-ordered online days ago to avoid waiting, was not ready. They said that our order was not received, so we had to re-order it all over again. Then they came back again telling us that they don't have breads for our sandwich platter order. I was pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness and friendliness of the employees here. I took my little toddler here for his birthday (not a reserved party) and the manager was very helpful in setting up a space for us (8 adults and a big wheelchair). I forgot the candles and matches, but they provided them for me! The food was way better than I had remembered, the bathrooms were clean, and my toddler had a blast playing the games and meeting Chuck E Cheese! read more

Came here yesterday for my daughter's 1st birthday, we already had a party over the weekend so we wanted to come here just to do something small.. I haven't been to Chuck E Cheese since I was about 10 so I was super excited, and of course I was excited to take my baby to her first trip here.. It was really hot the day as well so it was nice to be indoors in an air conditioned room...we got there and got our hands stamped.. 1st time coming to the Fremont location, and it was small than I expected..I was use to the San Jose location where it was 2 floors and from what I remember HUGE, perhaps because I was younger and smaller back then..everything was bigger than I was. Anyways they had a couple of games..and a couple of rides..my daughter had a blast on the bob the builder ride.. we had ordered the large pizza with about 40 tokens? Im not sure how many and 2 drinks.. the bbq chicken pizza was pretty good...we had a blast playing skeeball and the simpsons game!! That game made us total winners.. bottom line this place is clean, has friendly staff, and is a winner for kids and adults! We can't wait to go back maybe next weekend!! read more

The only reason I come to this place is because for some reason the children beg to come and play the games. Let's start with a game review.... they need new ones! Half of them were broken! The ticket counters are also broken. The customer service at the front desk is ridiculous, it takes 6 people at one register to figure out how to ring someone up. And guess what? The registers were broken as well. They couldn't give any change to anyone paying with cash. The food is pretty disgusting, the pizza tastes like cardboard, the chicken nuggets came hard as a rock with no ketchup. My chicken nuggets lover wouldn't even touch them. And... there was no beer anymore, maybe they took their taps out or lost their liquor license. I really wish there was a more modern pizza game place in this area! We need something more trendy, better food, better games and better customer service. This place is nasty. I can't believe people pay $15/person for birthday parties!! read more

Kids enjoy, that's the best part. Secured - so difficult for people to runaway with your kid. Average food and host. They try to push you and rotate tables fast. Attendants are reluctant. What a birthday nightmare this place. The music is screaming loud, the air-conditioning is not working, the place is crowded. The food is prefrozen, overprocessed and uneatable. The staff members are only teenagers and not very motivated. I doubt the hygienic conditions of the machines. OK, kids like the games, and get their tickets to receive some cheap toy. As far as these kind of places go this place is great. The coupons you can get online make it a good deal ($15 for 100 tokens - hard to beat). I went right after school so it wasnt crowded which was nice - the kid I was with really had a great time and can't wait to go back. The workers there were really nice and helpful when we had problems with a game breaking down mid-game and didnt get mad when we kept playing it after he refunded us (a lot of coins because the game broke when he was doing really well!) and bugged him when it broke down again. its small enough you can sit down and always know where your kid is which makes it a lot easier on adults. read more
