They let you bring in cake. Everyone in the party gets jumping socks. I think the limited time you have the party table is crazy when pizza arrives 20 minutes before you have to be out of the table area and not even opened presents. There was not a party scheduled after ours and would charge us more if we were there past our time allotted. The areas our clean. Pizza is from Costco across the street. This was not a good roller skating experience, and I've been to a lot of different rinks. 8? 10?…read more This was the lawless rink. I've never been to a rink where they didn't have one or more staff members skating on the rink to ensure safety and enforce rules. They didn't have any staff members anywhere near the rink. And they needed them! I hope they have good insurance! (though they had us sign a waiver before entering, which is the only time I've experienced that at a rink.) It wasn't crowded on the Sunday afternoon that we went, but it was really hard to skate. One kid going the wrong way around the rink, kids and *adults* cutting across the rink instead of going in an oval. One young teen stealing the skate assist device from his younger siblings and then zig-zagging across the rink while they tried to chase him to get it back. One guy doing his dance moves across the path of traffic - dude, go in the middle or a corner! One man standing in the path of traffic doing things on his phone. And then the usual of kids cutting across. The rink also doesn't have a wall around it, which means at any moment someone might decide to cut across as they enter or exit the rink. I'm a good skater, but multiple times I had to skate off of the rink to avoid crashing into someone behaving badly. It made it so not fun. And when people fell down, there was no staff to check they were ok or help them up like at other rinks. I would have given it one star, because I really just didn't want to stay (and I often stay for multiple hours at rinks), but there were some good things. The floor was good, and the price wasn't bad. There were plenty of places to sit. Music was decent though loud. There was a separate little rink for beginner skaters. We were there for the second half of an afternoon session and there were no games or couples skate or anything, and I didn't see any way to request your favorite song. I had to try 3 times to get a decent rental skate (first time they gave me the wrong size, second time one skate had a wheel loose), and the laces were messed up still. There are rinks that are more fun.

I've been taking my daughter to Urban Air in Overland Park for a long time. Decided to try the…read moreLenexa one instead. For it, its hands down better. Better Staff, that seem to keep the place clean, and care about keeping it a fun/safe environment. At the Lenexa location, there is plenty of seating where you can keep an eye on your kiddos while they play if you want. Or you can go back into a little nook, and read a book, use your laptop (They have guest wifi) or watch TV on one of the TVs in that area. Highly recommend Urban Air in general, and furthermore recommend the Lenexa location over the Overland Park one. Pro Tip, if you live in the area, and go at least once a month, its so much better to just buy a monthly pass. You get a better deal than if you purchase 1 single night ticket. With the level of season pass we have, it comes with a slice of pizza every night, and a bag of popcorn. It makes it so much easier for me to take my kiddo, she can grab some food to tide her over until we get home to eat dinner and its fairly inexpensive for what you get.

I signed him up and the waver and paid. I chose a table booth for our items and my husband joined me later and purchased a lattes for us. They are a clean facility and in fact the worker took a rug out of the play area while we were there and was steaming it in the back. They have hand sanitizer at the entrance of the play area to use as well. They have adult and child friendly restrooms. The play items were fun and educational. We will bring him back for sure!

This area is not the greatest for littler kids when the older ones are playing though, as balls are flying hard and fast. My youngest's favorite section is the slide that you have to ride a little cart down (roller slide). They have a type of bumper cars that require extra money to ride, but each time we have went, multiple bikes/cars were not working or stopped mid-turn. There are claw games and air hockey that costs extra as well. Each person, parents included, are not allowed to wear shoes inside, but need their branded socks. I do like this for the germ factor, but if you aren't prepared (I was wearing flip flops), the extra sock charge is there. For pricing, it is expensive. For a couple hours, it's a lot, but the benefit there is that they allow you to leave and come back that same day, so if you are making a day out of it, it makes more sense. For working parents, I couldn't get a wifi signal, but I did see a few adults with laptops, so I'm guessing they used their phones for signal. If noise bothers you, this place isn't for you...it's LOUD. I'm used to kids playing and having fun, but the walls seem to bounce the sound more than normal. When kids went in the light room and screamed, it echoed through the entire place. As far as food, there are only snacks. They have a few drinks and snack items to purchase, but if you are looking for a meal, you will have to leave and come back. The employees were nice, but the amount of times I saw a kid get hurt or do things like bring a bike to the top level and try riding it, there didn't have anyone watching to make sure kids were being safe. I was on edge the majority if the time watching kids (not mine) that were on the verge of getting hurt or go back to their parent in tears. To me, this place is good if you are in their with your kiss and plan on spending a long time there...or special occasions.

We made plans to go the next Thursday. He had it somewhat wrong because the chicken was pan fried and downright delicious. We sat outside under cover. It was very pleasant as was the service. I understand they serve dinner here as well and I can tell you it's high on my list. This isn't fine dining but if you find yourself looking for some tasty food midday or evening, this is your huckleberry. I loved it and definitely plan to go back.

I ordered a reuben, and though its presentation was terrible, the corned beef itself was quite good. I'm used to my ruebens being glued together with the melted cheese and Thousand Island dressing acting as cement. This was more the "some assembly required" variety. The dressing came on the side in a cup. The bread, though warm and slightly crusty, showed no signs of being toasted. There was a sad lump of sauerkraut dumped in small heap in a corner of my sandwich. Again, the corned beef was delicious, but the sandwich as a whole, was blah. It came with "home fries" and they were okay. My friend's corn nuggets were standard. I have no reason to come back to this place since it's out in the middle of nowhere, but I could see it being a fun little joint if you live in the area...if you like indoor smoking.
