My kids love it here. My oldest's favorite spot inside is the mini soccer field that is by the pink slide. This area is not the greatest for littler kids when the older ones are playing though, as balls are flying hard and fast. My youngest's favorite section is the slide that you have to ride a little cart down (roller slide). They have a type of bumper cars that require extra money to ride, but each time we have went, multiple bikes/cars were not working or stopped mid-turn. There are claw games and air hockey that costs extra as well. Each person, parents included, are not allowed to wear shoes inside, but need their branded socks. I do like this for the germ factor, but if you aren't prepared (I was wearing flip flops), the extra sock charge is there. For pricing, it is expensive. For a couple hours, it's a lot, but the benefit there is that they allow you to leave and come back that same day, so if you are making a day out of it, it makes more sense. For working parents, I couldn't get a wifi signal, but I did see a few adults with laptops, so I'm guessing they used their phones for signal. If noise bothers you, this place isn't for you...it's LOUD. I'm used to kids playing and having fun, but the walls seem to bounce the sound more than normal. When kids went in the light room and screamed, it echoed through the entire place. As far as food, there are only snacks. They have a few drinks and snack items to purchase, but if you are looking for a meal, you will have to leave and come back. The employees were nice, but the amount of times I saw a kid get hurt or do things like bring a bike to the top level and try riding it, there didn't have anyone watching to make sure kids were being safe. I was on edge the majority if the time watching kids (not mine) that were on the verge of getting hurt or go back to their parent in tears. If you have a child under the age of 7 you'll find that they will adore Kid's Empire. It's a good sized play area geared towards the pre-k and elementary aged kiddos. I'm going to break this one down into what I liked and what I didn't like from a parent's perspective: The good: * If you're a kid the play area would be magical. It's big, has tons to explore (think tubes, slides, jungle gym), and even has some arcade games, and mechanical cars to drive. So fun! * Everything is soft, so it feels fairly safe if your kid is I'd say 4+ * They have snacks for purchase The not so great: * I know it's par for the course in these places but the bright lights and smell of hundreds of kids passing through is a lot for me - probably nothing that can be helped, but the minute I walked in I was transported via scent memory back to places like this that existed when I was a kid. Something I had totally forgotten about! * The price is pretty steep in my opinion (close to $20 for your kid) to play. It is unlimited time so you could stay all day if you wanted, but after about an hour and a half, maybe two hours I hit my stimulus limit as a parent. * Everything costs extra here. So, if your kid wants to ride the cars, you've gotta load a card. There is plenty to do without loading up a card, and I've found you can get away with $5-$10 and your kid will be satisfied but it bulks up the cost of this place pretty fast depending on how many kids you have, and how long you plan on staying. * I wish they'd stamp or tag every parent with every kid like they do at chuck-e cheese to make sure you exit with who you came in with. I wasn't here on a super busy day but I lost track of my kid several times as it's a big play area and it's not adult friendly to climb up to find or rescue your child if they get scared or lost up there. It would give me some peace of mind to know there's some extra security in line. Lastly I'll say that in summary my child loves this place and we will likely return at some point. As a parent I just don't find it to be the most fun place for us both. For the money I'd rather take her to Science City, or somewhere that's a bit easier for me to keep an eye on her, and maybe has a more pleasant environment for adults. read more

This Kids Empire deserves a 5-star review! My kids had an amazing time there and honestly did not want to leave. From the moment we walked in, they were excited to explore and play. The facility was very clean and well kept, which made me feel comfortable letting them run around and enjoy themselves. The staff were also really nice, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. It is such a fun, safe, and welcoming place for families. Seeing how happy and entertained my kids were made the trip completely worth it. We will definitely be coming back again soon. read more

Great indoor kids play place with tons of area to get the wiggles out. There is a large seating area in the middle for adults to view their kids from a far, or to enjoy a snack and rest your legs. The tunnels/climb through area is large enough for adults to venture in with their kids. Loved wandering around and exploring together. The slides were pretty fast. There's a small black light disco room with upbeat music to get your dance on. Party rooms available for rental as needed. Appreciated the separate toddler only area so littles don't get trampled. It was also nice that you could leave the building and return the same day without paying again. The gates at front door lock and need to be manually pushed by employee to open, which is nice security feature. The only downside, there was only one employee working. So I had to wait several times when entering, returning and asking a question. There's also no wifi, so adults planing to get work done while their kids play will be sorely disappointed. They also only accept credit cards which is a pain for those not wishing to use cards and needing to pay multiple times for entrance, snacks, add ons, ect. read more

The place is a nice indoor play place for kids. It is clean and well kept. I had a birthday party here and I was pleased to see that they decorate for you. Even if you have your own decorations you bring it in and they decorate for you. What I did not like was that you host it yourself! The whole time no one came out to check and see if we needed anything or if everything was going fine. They decorated then checked us in and that was it! Anytime I needed drinks I had to go ask, when I needed cups, utensils etc I had to go ask myself. For the price I feel as if we should have at least had a host or someone to check on us for that matter. Overall the place was fun and my guest did enjoy the party. I think for the price this is a place to go play as far as them "Hosting" parties it needs a little more work They do not sell food there, just small snacks so eat before you go. read more

Went with a 2, 4, 6, and 11 yo, and they all loved it. They had a small toddler area but the 2yo also enjoyed the big play area. Cost is $20/kid (even the 2yo) but each kid gets 2 adults free. I imagine 3hrs is probably the most people would want to stay around. But the ticket is good for the whole day, so you can leave for lunch (or nap) and come back. read more

Amazing birthday experience. Our 6-year-old and his friends had a blast. Josh the manager also took great care of us; he made sure everything was decorated and ready before our arrival time, checked on us repeatedly throughout the party, and ensured we had everything we needed to be happy. This is really a neat place. i've been to another area place that was similar but smaller. However, i was very disappointed in the staffing. One person tried to open the doors at 10 and the line was out the door and she did not keep up very well. Also the other place had several people supervising in the gym area- I saw no one doing that here. It even was more expensive. Perhaps the group of 8 boys that tried to harass one child of mine put a sour taste in my mouth. Being a former teacher it wasn't hard for me to get on the group and avoid a confrontation but i shouldn't have had to do that! I was impressed with the drink and food available and the pricing. read more

While my kids absolutely love coming here (age 6 and 4), and this is our third time here...our visit today was terrible in regards to sanitation and a few other things. We showed up shortly after opening and it was clear the place hadn't been cleaned from the day before. The tables and floor were dirty. After only an hour of being open the women's bathroom was out of toilet paper in two stall, and they just had random rolls of toilet paper on the floor. One was terribly clogged. Toilet paper all over the floor in pieces. Extremely dirty. No napkins available over at the food counter. I told staff about the bathrooms. They didn't seem surprised or like this isn't the norm. I suggested she talk to a manager and she said it was a supervisor who was on shift the night before when they should have cleaned. All of the machines they normally have stuffed animals and toys to win with the play card were empty. Staff should have informed us of this when we paid to put money on our play card to use during our visit. If it wasn't my daughter's birthday and this is what she asked to do, I would have asked for a refund and left immediately. Very disappointed. read more

This place was a huge disappointment. Plenty of indoor play places don't set you up for failure by lining their walls with "arcade" games and "rides" that cost extra after the inflated entrance fees. But, not just money, you have to go wait in line (again) get a little card loaded with money and THEN go rejoin your group. The entire place feels like they are trying to scam you. The day we were there the extra attractions like the motorcycles were out of order, and the attendants could not have cared less that children were trying to use their cards, waiting and waiting and never getting to ride/play. The staff is obviously way too good to be working there and their attitude shows the general disdain they have for the place, the people and the kids. It was also dirty and I watched the employees just mill around looking bored. The vibe was just terrible. I expect it to cost money, I expect it to be chaotic, but this place is all that AND SO MUCH WORSE. My kids and I left feeling awful! Save your money and sanity and time. Find a smaller/local place with staff that wants to be there. read more

My kids love their place but it's so expensive we won't go often. I ask you to consider making the motorcycle rides as part of the $18 admission. It cost me $35 for one kid there. It's a money pit and you could have put those motorcycles off to the side so kids aren't just begging to ride those the whole time after you just paid $18 admission. Or get rid of them all together. If it were just a flat $18 a kid for everything we would go so much more. I think in the end you would make more money that way. read more

This place was so chaotic. Music blasting, tables so tightly packed you could hardly walk through, kids riding tricycles all throughout...and no safety precautions at all. Kids were tumbling down an unsafe elastic band structure and falling on little kids at the bottom. Three older kids were having a "snowball fight" in the area marked 'Toddlers in Diapers Only''. The electric motorcycle area was a disaster of barefoot kids running around while others played bumper cars with their vehicles. There needs to be employees stationed throughout, monitoring behavior. We only saw one employee not behind the counter and the only thing he did was scold a kid for not wearing socks. read more
